Clean , friendly service , great views of vineyards & castle , pizzeria, beneath was a bonus , good service & staff Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was a option & was ok

need to improve shower , could fit larger shower & shower high off floor, difficult to get in & out of , need to provide plastic shower mat for inside . We r all 60+ & some with ailments & difficult walking up 2 flights of stairs , Need some sort of elevator ? also no kettle or iron in room

The hotel met our expectations and the restaurant downstairs was reasonably priced. There was a problem with the one way system, as the satnav in the car didn't recognise it. The free parking was close to the hotel and it was possible to load and unload luggage outside. It is a good place to stay as it is close to the old town of Bernkastel and fairly close to Frankfurt Hahn airport.

Stayed one night at the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. It is in a good location with easy parking outside. The hotel was really nice and very clean. It looked as though they were in the middle of renovations, though this didn't impact in any way on our stay. Our room was really nice, though it overlooked the main road and we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. All the staff were really welcoming and helpful. The hotel had a great restaurant and we really enjoyed a meal there. The hotel is within easy walking distance of Bernkastel and local amenities. I would definitely recommend.

Perhaps the rooms would benefit from some sort of voile or net curtains to provide some privacy at the front of the hotel.

The location is excellent. I have been to Bernkastel Kues many times and for me it is by far the best value and the Italian restaurant is very good

Lovely welcoming staff. The room was a good size with balcony with great view of the hills. The room was comfy as was the bed. Breakfast had a nice choice, the scrambled eggs were delicious!! We ate in the Italian restaurant of the hotel, and the food was again delicious and plentiful. The hotel is situated a short 10 minute walk from the main shopping area.

Shame the other guests didn't adhere to the quiet time rule whilst sitting out on the terrace drinking in the evening.

Second time staying here. Clean, convenient and always friendly staff. Plus secure bicycle lock up available.
