The whole of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms were a very good size. The staff were excellent (and spoke English). The breakfast buffety was comprehensive and of good quality: meats, cheese, bolied eggs, cakes, fruit, various breads, cereals, choice of coffee/tea/juice; plus hot options of nurnberger sausage, scrambled eggs, beans, bacon. Hotel was a few minutes walk to the Sauerlach MVV train staition making trips into Munich trivial. The hotel did food and had a small bar, and was also attached to the Sauerlach Postwirt stuberl which was very good. (great choice of traditional German food and beer).

Everything was fine.

Great location near grocery store, bakery, restaurants and train station. Had dinner one evening and the meal came out quickly and satisfied our hunger after walking around Munich all day.

On the third night, there were people sitting on the second floor balcony smoking cigarettes and being very loud. The cigarette smoke and noise was so bad it woke me up and I had to close the windows on a nice evening. Unfortunately, by the time I closed the windows, cigarette smoke had already filled our room and was smelt for the rest of the evening. I’m not sure whether it was staff or other guests, but there was a bucket on the balcony with tons of cigarette butts in it. Either way, it ruined our stay on the last night. Had to drive five hours back home without being well rested.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. Receptionist Ms Greta gave all the information perfectly and she knows her job very well. Her fluent English helped me to understand all infos. The Hotel was so clean everything and corner are very well designed. Lobby is like a museum. Art Estetic Vision completed perfection. Room furnitures are unique real wooden pieces. Car park is also good. I recommend everyone if they look for somewhere like boutique hotel. Thank all the hotel staff and administration.

I speak 7 languages gor me the language is not a problem. However there should be instructions in the room in some languages specially Turkish

Just an average hotel. Nothing special, nothing terrible. Parking on site, under the hotel.

The restaurant was closed, no breakfast available. It was extremely hot in the room and in the corridors. As if someone had turned the heating up to the maximum. You had to keep the window wide open in the room. They did the same thing in the corridors for some reason—maybe a heating failure? I don't know.

Clean and spacious. Good bathroom. Comfy bed. Good coffee at the bar. It was good for us for overnight stay.

We arrived before 10pm, but reception was closed, so we had to call the provided phone number to get the keycard. The policy says that check-in is until 11pm. I would have preferred to pre-pay for the hotel via booking.com, or pay in the morning, instead of telling my cc nr to the guy on the phone in order to get the keycard. That is the only reason I'm rating the hotel at 9.

Wonderful old building, decor superb. Close to train station (good for not having to drive and park in Munich), and also for getting on to motorways to visit Bavaria and it's castles, lakes etc. We stayed in a lovely suite, with bathroom and mini-kitchen, which had a fridge, sink, hob, microwave, kettle. Directly opposite a supermarket, and very close to a lovely Italian restaurant. The hotel restaurant was very good, as was the adjoining Bavarian restaurant.

Our suite was not accessible by lift, but by an outside stone staircase. We were touring, so our cases were heavy. We asked for assistance, and the staff were happy to oblige immediately.

through with our family (two adults, a 9-year-old and a baby). The room was clean, the breakfast was tasty, and the price–quality ratio was good. The restaurant downstairs was ideal for us on a travel day – we had a really nice dinner there. The style isn’t very modern, but it had everything we needed for a short stay.

The room was clean and the bathroom was huge; overall it was a very spacious room. The staff were very nice with checking in and out. The beds were comfortable. The hotel had parking surrounding the building that was free.

The walls were thin so when the other hotel guests were being loud it could be heard very clearly. Couldn't find the parking garage.

Stayed for 3 nights for work, my room was great, nice and warm , the hotel was perfectly clean and with the Christmas decorations made the stay feel homey. Always plenty of choices for food and drinks at Breakfast, something for everyone. Lovely pleasant staff, nothing too much trouble, would stay again.

sometimes their own resturant was not open, but just directly next door was a suitable pub / bar to eat freshly made produce and drink local beer.

Great location within an easy walk of train station and small village restaurants and shops; tremendous value for the money, the best I have ever enjoyed so close to a major city (obviously Munich), and the room is excellent in a no frills sort of way. Outstanding breakfast with full buffet offering everything from scrambled eggs to smoked salmon to fresh fruit to yogurt to crepes. Also liked the lobby bar and convenient display of snacks for sale; and the staff did not charge penalty despite very last minute change to my arrival (was a day late). To repeat, an astonishing value for the money, and great location in the charming village of Sauerlach in the Munich suburbs.

Very minor quibble since I spent most of my free time enjoy village restaurants, but a few more English-language TV stations would be nice, not just news, perhaps ITV 3 and 4 from the UK as I have found at other hotels in German-speaking countries; to be sure, this would not keep me from coming back..
