Love the comfort, the look, the vibe. Good location for when someone is waiting for you while you go to a meeting.

The lighting is not great when you are traveling with a spouse or friend. If you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, for example, and turn on the light for that area, it lights up the whole room still. My husband said, "there is no sleeping in here when you get up". When I stay by myself, then who cares. The light from the shower shines on one side of the room, and the sink area lights up the other. So ya, something to probably change. Also the blind on the right window only worked full up or full down. No halfway.

Always love the atmosphere and unique layout.

The hassle we got trying to use debit instead of a card. Most places just charge a larger deposit. But the counter person said no at first then after some discussion went and talked with his manager, came back and said as a one time thing they would do it. Next morning getting my deposit back, he didn't even keep the sheet I signed. The counter person working in the morning couldn't find it anyways and there were quite a few people that paid debit as she looked through the binder that should've had the sheet I signed in it and multiple people had paid this way so why give us a hard time. Wasn't impressed. Not all of us like using cards.

Our room was comfortable. We liked how the toilet and shower was separated from the bathroom sink. Helpful layout for our family.

There was a bit of hallway noise during the night/early morning, so better sound-proofing would have been helpful. There could have been more space to put suitcases. We had no sitting space because there was nowhere else to put our suitcases (4 carry-on size cases - it was alot.) More hooks for used towels would also have been great.

Was hoping the room would have a small kitchen that we could use to cook.

Pool was not too accommodating(big), there were about 3 people there and when we came they left, it’s possible they thought the pool wasn’t big enough for all of us, or they had simply been there for a while and decided to go. We were also hoping for a hot tub but it’s not necessary. We also couldn’t find the ice room so we weren’t sure if there was one but our room had an ice bucket with a note letting us know we could get ice. The note should say what floor the ice room is.

Loved the access to a free pool table near the bar, loved the room layout and comfortable bed. This location is perfect for shopping and walking distance from great restaurants. The staff was friendly.

Breakfast items were a little overpriced and the coffee, though drinkable, wasn't the best.

"I recently stayed at Aloft hotel for 2nd time and overall had a positive experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, and the hotel itself was a nice place to be. My room was clean and ready when I arrived, which was great to see. The pool was also a highlight of my stay, and I enjoyed spending time there. However, I did feel that there were not enough options for breakfast. While the mini grocery that was available was in the lobby, I would have appreciated a greater variety of choices.l for breakfast or Room service menu. On the other hand, the bed in my room was extremely comfortable, which made for a great night's sleep. Room was big enough to stay with my husband and 2 kidsI also want to give a special shoutout to the reception and room service staff, who were all fantastic and made me feel very welcome. Overall, I had a good experience at Aloft hotel and would recommend it to others.Cant wait to come back again.

No breakfast buffet and room service menu

This is one my favourite hotels to stay at. It is always clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and the TV even has a welcome message for you. I also really liked that I could sign into my streaming services to the TV which made my stay much more comfortable. They also had no issues with providing us with an extra duvet. I have stayed at other hotels that would not provide that service.

It needs a hot tub … hahahahaha

I like the room layout. Staff are always nice and the lobby always looks cool.

This particular room was odd with the windows. I didn't notice right away that anyone could see me sitting on my bed when they were standing near the elevator around the corner. That made me uncomfortable. Once I noticed I kept that shade down on the window. Also the plug for electronics beside the bed is under the bedside table. Not hard for me but I know it would be hard for my sister if she was there. Also black under there so hard to see.

Location, room size

The speed bumps in the parking lot are dangerous. I went over them at 2-3kms/hr, still bottomed out on one, slamming/dragging the bottom of the car. Checked it out at the time and didn’t see any damage but will be taking it to be checked.
