Good value for the price. The room (a large and clean studio) was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, and sink. While the furnishings were a bit dated, everything was functional and well-maintained. The hotel is conveniently located, close to both a bus stop and a metro station. Nevertheless, it still takes about 50 minutes to reach Downtown Toronto. The city tax increased after I booked through Booking.com, but the hotel honored the original rate, which I appreciated.

The continental breakfast was very basic. I only found out on the last day that it was possible to request eggs. A small sign or note would have been helpful.

Much better than expected! Area is not THAT industrial- Eg theres multiple small food and drink places X the street. Place is “old school” in a good way - it’s an INDEPENDENT hotel! Metal key, plastic laminated hotel guide, good service, ice box w a big ol scoop, old but clean and well maintained rooms, etc. Good sized gym w decent amount of equipment. Feels like the place was the best back in the day - and now is doing a good job maintaining- tho not updating it

Better signage to where the main entrance is. Protein at breakfast, but that’s ok.

The room was more spacious than I expected with a lot of amenities: huge closet, kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave, large sofa, desk, small table, etc. Everything was clean and functional. Location was very close to subway and other public transit (bus stop across the street, subway within 8 min walk), Enterprise car rental is also not far as well as enough of restaurants in the area. Staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast was minimal, but adequate with fruits, pastry, yogurt, cereals, juices, tea and coffee provided. I will definitely stay next time as it's close to where I need to be in North York on my visits.

I would appreciate if there were also an electric kettle in the room in addition to the coffee maker.

Amazing staff, Daniel was very friendly and helpful, actually each and every receptionist was extremely efficient and provided help every time needed. Breakfast was excellent, I had 2 eggs every morning with Laszlo Soproni for 12 days in a row. Excellent stay, many thanks!

I think there should be eggs included in the breakfast menu; it would be actually ideal, if striving for perfection.

Acceptable stay, but with a little more attention to guest comfort, it could have been a great stay! The highly polished floors were lovely.

The property appeared quite clean in public places, but the hotel room’s bedding was apparently reused without changing it. The previous guest had eaten in the bed and left rice and brown gravy stains on the sheets. Had it not been the rice on the bed with the gravy, they would have lost a guest forever!

Very convenient for ColdPlay concert at Roger’s Stadium and free car parking. Booked room was not available at check in time, so we got a free upgrade to an “apartment-style” room with 2 bedrooms - that was nice.

Free breakfast was poor (bagel, jam, coffee, banana- but no cheese or meats etc.). It would be embarrassing to ask for payment, so understand why it was free !!

Location suited our needs well. The price was much better than a hotel in the city. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was surprisingly large.

Breakfast was unimpressive. Not enough seats. Chair seats at the bar in bad shape, left debris on our clothes.. Food was unappetizing and very little selection. Our room was poorly lit quite dark at noght. The door difficult to get open. A large piece of hvac equipment blocked our view. There were only three plastic hangers in the closet. We knew we weren't staying at a 5 star hotel but a some small improvements like stronger light bulbs and a few more hangers would have made a big difference.

Our first room had issues, hair in one of the beds & mattresse was stained several places & both beds were very worked out. The service maid was amazing in getting us another a newly renovated room and making sure we were taken care of and ok! The breakfast customer service was excellent as was the room service maid.

Checking inn reception was a bit “rough”.

Clean, quiet basic inexpensive hotel. Huge bathroom, large room, late checkout not an issue, attentive, friendly housekeeping staff.

Old keys, only one elevator was working, hard to pull into drive due to Sheppard intersection and 18 wheelers, small basic TV, limited power outlets accessible, no luggage rack, no fridge (room 404))

The room was almost Brand new..on the ground so I did not have to lug my bag upland stairs...The laundry was great $2.00 wash $2.00 dry...Amd the breakfast buffets..Everything do Fresh!! The entrance doors locked so.coming in late a key card must be used. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN...I remember that place fro.the 80'S BIG BIG IMPROVEMENT....one problem the selection on the TV was terrible...nothing to watch. Overall I would return if I had to and it's available at a good rate
