Spacious and comfortable. Had plenty of room in a one bedroom suite. Had a bonus washer and dryer which I didn’t realize at the time of booking! Full size fridge freezer as well. Area is nice, and there is a food court and a small super market across the road at the shops on Yonge. I had a car, but there is a subway stop a few hundred meters down the road. It takes about 25-30 mins by car to downtown Toronto, can be closer to 45 mins with traffic. I didn’t want to stay downtown, so this was perfect. To save others some time and confusion, the free parking is on level P2. When you arrive depending on which direction you come from you will turn left, or right from Yonge and you will see a sign saying shops on Yonge. This is the parking building. Proceed to the left of this building, and there will be a stop sign, turn right and a black automatic screen type of door will open. This is the parking building. Go right, then two bays and right again for the P2 contractor ramp. Go down and turn right and you will see Liberty Suites in Green paint. Park anywhere close to that entrance. You can wave your hand and the automatic door will open. Push the elevator screen and go to level 12, this is where the reception is. See photos for the parking building.

Housekeeping tried to enter our room at 7am thinking we were gone. My wife was quite upset about it. It made her feel the place is unsafe as the housekeeper didn't identify themselves and did not knock first.

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, made checking in very straight forward and quick. The location was good considering it was outside the city centre, there's plenty of places to shop and good places to eat. The transport links are also good if you want to go into town, many buses to Finch Station (10 minutes to get to) and the metro will take 45 to 50 minutes to get you to Union Station. Overall we had a great stay, surprisely my family preferred this location to the apartment we had in the city centre as it was more of a relaxed vibe and the sidewalk wasn't crammed full of people. The provision of coffee and tea in the room was probably the best we've had this holiday, always restocked after a room clean - very nice touch. The apartment views were an unexpected treat as well - particularly with the sunset.

I can't think of anything we didn't like, I have seen some negative reviews about the staff but they were all very kind to me and my family, my recommendation to future guests is to treat everyone how you want to be treated and you will have a great holiday here.

We have stayed at Liberty Suites several times now. Again, we loved the space! Having a separate bedroom was great - especially since we stayed 10 nights this time. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the view and the location.

The room was not terribly clean- actually, it was mostly the carpet that was not very clean. There were dust piles along the sideboards and in the closet for example. Also, after 6 nights we had to ask to have the sheets cleaned. Unfortunately, we did not partake in the breakfast as there was virtually nothing for vegans.

We had a wonderful stay at Liberty Suites! Our original room had a few issues, but the staff quickly resolved it by upgrading us to a spacious two-bedroom suite—which was perfect for our family since we were traveling with a teenager. The city view from our room was stunning, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was tasty, and I especially enjoyed sitting outside with my food while taking in the skyline.

My only suggestion would be to provide clearer, step-by-step parking instructions ahead of time, as finding the right spot was a little confusing. Overall, an excellent experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

The location was advantageous due to its ease of access. The rooms were spacious.

The breakfast options were limited. It would have been better if the room had plates and cutlery.

Breakfast was great 👍 a lot more than I expected of a continental breakfast! The location was perfect for us , very convenient and close to our seminar and I was so happy to have FREE underground parking 🅿️ with easy access to different levels of the hotel. Having a full size kitchen was important to us because of dietary restrictions, didn’t know we had to pay extra for pots & pans, plates, utensils and such! I wish they had made it more clear before booking! We managed without having to pay $50 extra for that. Just purchased paper plates and what we needed from the store at parking level. Staff was very supportive and helpful when I asked for hot water she asked if I wanted an electric tea kettle 😍🙏 that was wonderful 🙌👏🏻 so ask for what you need. We enjoyed staying there with my sister. 👍🙏

It would be better to explain the full size kitchen is empty and giving all you need would cost $50 more for the stay. The pull out bed was convenient but a bit noisy and not enough covers, I got extra blankets! Otherwise all was great 👍 thanks.

My suite was very clean and lovely

The queen sized bed I reserved was really a full sized bed and that was very frustrating. When I asked about it, apparently I was not the only customer who had had an issue with this discrepancy in bed size and had addressed this problem to management. As I stated for just shy of two weeks, I was there long enough to realize that I would have liked to have had a more set schedule for room cleaning and maintenance just so I could vacate my room for the housekeeping staff to do what was needed daily. Also, there wasn’t consistency in how my room was made-like for example how my bed was made and how the extra blankets I needed were made with it or folded at the foot of the bed.

We liked the complementary daily breakfast. The room was always throughly cleaned by house keeping whenever we needed it. We were always able to come and go easily whenever we needed. Checking in and out with the front desk was easy and fast.

We wish there was personal laundry facilities for guests staying longer. We also wish there was a discount value package set up for long term stays or reoccurring bookings because we would have extended our stay longer at liberty suits as we are still in the area visiting.

The room was clean and well-appointed - though we had to ask for glasses, cups and plates. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great for us visiting family in the area and also getting downtown to spend time with friends. (Being near the Vegan Danish Bakery was fantastic, too.)

We have stayed at Liberty Suites about 5 or 6 times over the last few years and like everything but the breakfast. During our 9-night stay we only had breakfast (well, just coffee and sadly, unripe fruit) at the hotel once. More and more people have a plant-based diet nowadays and I wish this was reflected in the available breakfast options.
