I love the fact that it's cozy :typical home away from. home . The staffs were friendly and approachable

My family and I globally appreciated our visit at Sonesta ES Suites Hotel Markham Toronto. We were 5 and stayed six nights. The room was well equipped with 2 cooking surfaces, big fridge with icemaker, microwave, dishwasher, dished and utensils. The environment is clean and well maintained. The breakfast was various and everything was delicious except for the potatoes we absolutely didn't like. I really want to mention the woman of the kitchen Ms DANA, she was wonderful with everyone and made us comfortable. Thank you SURESH for your smile, kindness and quick and effective service!

Here're some but's, we didn't appreciate the parking tax of 5$/night (don't forget that client can't bring their belongings by walk and even if taxis exist, it may be difficult or not practical for external visitors). Plus, during our 6 days staying there, after 3 nights we were eligible to the room cleaning (light touch : towels, garbage, redo the bed with the same sheets, NO BATH CLEANING). Also, the bathroom space was a bit small.

The place would have been rated A1 if someone would pay attention to a simple basic problem. People need to visually see cleanliness and attention to detail as well as feel it. There is only 1 elevator in the building. It is one of the first things people see. The inside looks like a horrible dungeon. 50 dollars of paint would make it look like a 5 star facility. Such a simple thing to do. A basic detail. I wanted to paint it myself. The rest of the hotel is so nice. Why wouldn't you want one of the 1st things people see to be nice instead of horrible. I don't get it. 1st impressions guys. Very important. If the 1st impression is bad all the rest follows that no matter how nice it is. Other than this the place was fantastic.

I absolutely loved this hotel. As someone who travels a lot, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. Cleanliness is important to me and both rooms we booked were absolutely spotless. Each staff member we came across was friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect. Tucked away from the noise. Felt safe. The rooms were fully stocked with everything we needed. They felt so cozy and were decorated beautifully. Breakfast had a nice selection, and the breakfast room was cleans and stocked constantly. Thank you to Denise, Diana, Mulesh, Orna, and everyone else who made us feel welcome.

Staff, pool very good. Give a raise to the lady at the reception on the weekend. I was waiting for this moment. I had the opportunity to take a room with two queen and double queen rooms. I wrote to the hotel to let them know that I would celebrate my 5-year-old daughter's little birthday in the room and we would use the pool. Additionally, I required early entry and they helped me by paying a small amount. The room was spectacular, it exceeded my expectations, it was large, with 2 bathrooms and 3 televisions. It was impeccably clean, very spacious and cozy. From the moment I contacted all the staff, they were very helpful. During the week, Dayana assisted me and was very cordial. But the girl at the weekend (I don't remember her name) at the reception was incredible, she took care of us and helped us with everything, always at our commands, excellent. We were able to enjoy my daughter's 5th birthday and we will have incredible memories. We will definitely repeat ourselves. Breakfast was precise. The cozy pool and a good temperature. All staff are very knowledgeable in customer service. It is unfortunate to see the bad comments that people write, I think they are absurd, the hotel far exceeds expectations and the people who publish these things here are sincerely clowns or people who want to take advantage. I read redeñas and I must say that I was worried, but when I arrived I really realized that reality is superior to everything. The hotel should be 5 stars, I highly recommend it!! Congratulations and we will return!!

"Unfortunately, there were several issues during our stay. The first floor felt unsafe and intimidating due to ongoing construction work. There was an unpleasant odor throughout the property which was quite bothersome. One of the toilets was broken, causing inconvenience for our family. These maintenance and construction problems significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience."

We love the 2 room suites that you offer which is great for our family. The hotel was busy but we were near the back so it was quiet. The breakfast/coffee hit the spot and the location was great for where we were.

The parking was a bit of an issue Saturday night when we got back to the hotel. Many people did not parking properly (taking up two spots) so there were 5 or 6 wasted spots

Undergoing Renovation so main floor and reception a little off temporarily. But we got a brand new clean and large suite and it was amazing w separate family room and kitchenette. Wasn’t expecting that as had booked regular room last min literally at midnight found online 3rd party website avail in area and it was one of the cheapest highest rated. And we were given better room than booked without asking. Would return. Very short stay. Just to sleep and breakfast. Breakfast had good variety. Would definitely return.

The room we got was good for 3 people for a short stay. It had a kitchen space which was small but had all accessories needed. Bathroom was small but we found it clean and loaded with clean supplies, towels etc. It was not luxurious clean but acceptable for us. We bought our own toiletries since we don't use it from hotels so someone looking for good toiletries may be disappointed. Bed was comfortable for 2 people, bed sheets were clean and they provided us with extra sheets and pillows. I don't found couch very clean, we found some hair strands on it. We are not picky about small things so we used extra sheets and made it comfortable and clean for us. I loved the buffet breakfast. No halal options but good veg and cheese omelets, muffins, bagels, cereals to meet your needs. Staff were friendly and accommodated my needs that I asked for while booking this hotel. The cost provided free buffet breakfast, free parking, and quiet convenient location. What else you need!

Couch could be clean better. supply of good quality toiletries could be an added benefit within the cost provided.

The suite is perfect for a family or friends traveling together with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchenette and sitting area makes it look like an apartment and it must be great for longer than a night stays. They offer breakfast to everybody.

In places the hotel needs things fixed asap- worn out and ripped area rug in the hallway, worn and dirty in spots couch and armchair. In the office next to the reception desk I could see an office chair that was so worn out- it seems 100 years old. They charge $5.00 for parking which is a small amount but it was not disclosed and there does not seem to be an issue with finding parking. I found charging a fee funny at least.
