The room size was actually better than expected. The TV offers Chromecast (or bring your firestick and use HDMI2) which is convenient as we don't like satellite/cable television. Beds were comfortable with 4 pillows per bed. Parking is included which is a bonus for the area. Ample parking. The pool(saltwater) is small but refreshing; the highlight for our daughter. Close to many restaurants. The WIFI never dropped; steady connection. We never really interacted with staff, other than requesting more towels which were sent to the room right away! It's definitely a good value for the money.

The water pressure is lower, but doable. The breakfast is mostly breaded options with a bit of fruit and yogurt but it's enough to get you going in the morning. Not a lot of negative to say.

The property is nice and clean. About 2 blocks away has T&T market (Chinese grocery and food) and Shopper Drug Marts. In that shopping mall it has many food choices. The staff is really nice. I just walked in and a manager just passing through, pointed out the direction to the front desk. It has a small swimming pool but it is warm in there. Probably can swim in the winter time too. A small gym is in the basement. Free continental breakfast every morning from 7-10am.

The only issue we had is the hair dryer not staying in the holder and keep falling down with the slightest touch.

Bed was great, darkness of the room great.

Bathtub did not drain while showering. Standing in soapy water. Not a "deal breaker" per se, but not near standard of the Monte Carlo Hotel, especially as I was apparently upgraded to a "Jacuzzi Suite." For the money paid, even though I saved $20 booking Online, the "Included" Continental breakfast was quite paltry! Took an apple and a yogurt for later, and got breakfast elsewhere as I had a deadline to get to work!

I was at the Monte Carlo for four nights, in one of their "King Jacuzzi" rooms, which I chose for the size. The room was very spacious with a comfortable desk and swivel chair, which I needed for work. The hotel is older but clean. Breakfast is simple and good, but perhaps a little unvaried. The coffee on the last two days was excellent -- strong and flavourful! Strangely on the first two days it was terribly weak...not sure what accounted for the stark difference. The staff were pleasant, especially the housekeepers who always happily gave me extra supplies when I needed them (tea, sugar, etc).

Not sure this is avoidable, but it can get loud in the late evenings (after 11pm) if other guests are coming and going. My room was clustered close to some others, and the chatting in the hall and opening/closing of doors was very audible. I could also hear talking and laughter for hours past midnight from another room. I realize this isn't something that can be helped. I think the walls and doors are just a bit thin. If you need to sleep it might do to ask for a room father away. The daytime periods were very quiet, which was great for working. The Wi-Fi worked very well.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the location. All of their staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our kids loved the Christmas decorations in the lobby too! The breakfast was adequate and was constantly replenished by the staff. Tables were consistently cleaned and cleared by the restaurant staff. The pool facilities were clean and operational and so was the gym. The room was relatively clean, beds and pillow comfortable and we received a strong Wi-Fi signal from our room. There was plenty of parking available and it was also well lit for safety. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Only comments would be the window curtain and shower curtains in our room were slightly stained and may need a wash or replacement. Though the pool and gym were clean, towels were not topped up and the used towel basket was always full.

The hotel has really put in some hard work rectifying some Post Covid issues. .Although somewhat dated the furnishings seem to work with the "0ld world " experience The rooms were excellent: clean and comfy. Breakfast was fine - just what a Continental breakfast should be. I enjoyed the larger breakfast cooked to order . Check in and check out were very easy. Staff pleasant.

Everything was as I expected no glaring issues.

Staff were great from check in to check out. Parking was easy and so was check in. Room was clean and room service was great.They asked if we'd like cleaning during our stay, if we weren't sure we could call anytime. Cleary explained breakfast hours and process, room service hours and at check out when we'd get the deposit back. Fridge and microwave in room, along with coffee maker, iron and ironing board and safe. Bed was comfortable and the entire room and under the bed was clean. Seemed sound proof enough only heard a few people chatting but not what they said clearly.

Room lock, only one lock, press down it opens from the inside- no additional security lock to stop anyone coming in if they somehow had a key that worked on your door. Call me paranoid but I'd like that extra security - chair in front of door instead. Location, nothing around there to get a quick bite to bring back. Have to have a car to drive about 10 mins. Dollarama for snacks or shoppers and go further for anything else. There is a restaurant onsite and vending machines and room service. But gets a bit pricey. So have to make sure to being your snacks and beverages.

Bar doesn’t open until 4pm and no shop. Disappointed they stopped providing boiled eggs for continental breakfast and the bowl of fruit is only refilled after 9am? Some towels were very thin. Reported the following: faucet as it was loose, hairdryer was damaged, curtains were hanging off and frayed, plastic strip around window frame was loose. All reported and repaired same day, well done

Close to shops and lots of Asian and western restaurants. Located on Warden Ave and close to Steeles Ave. Room was clean, with Microwave and Fridge which is great. Free Breakfeast is a plus. My room #101 on the ground floor was quite except the first night when there was a party until around midnight. I called the front desk and they promptly ask the party to turn down the volume. Just beware of that when you check in.

Breakfast selection could be better, but it was free and will get you start the day! Room does smell like cleaning products but not bad. Wish they have slippers.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, making commuting a breeze.

The hotel provided paper and plastic cups, wrapped in plastic bags. I think this might be a remnant from Covid times, and would have preferred proper reusable drink ware. Not very eco-friendly.
