Raga is absolutely wonderful! In every detail, from arrival to check out, they made sure that we had an amazing experience. Our room was beautiful and equipped with all necessary for a comfortable stay and the view to the Ganges from each corner of the resort is stunning. We can only recommend a longer stay to fully enjoy everything that Raga has to offer, from the spa to the restaurant and their quiet private beach. Can’t wait to be back!

It is far from Rishikesh which isn’t necessarily bad but it is worth mentioning since one one need a full day if they want to explore the city

Location location location ! Fabulous views - far from the madding crowd and excellent service. For those who have issues with movement - the property may be a bit of a challenge to navigate as its on a steep hill side. But they do have buggies to ferry one around - which takes a bit of a wait if the property is full. Everything else was stellar - the staff including anil, ajay at the front desk, sawan the property manager and all the staff at the restaurant went out of their way to ensure i was comfortable and welcome once they realised i was a solo traveller

Words can’t do justice to the beauty of this place and the team there. The cottages were perfect! Comfy and cozy and clean. Every morning you can take a short walk across the bridge to the beach for yoga or just soak in the peaceful energy. The team behind the front office, the restaurant, the bar, the spa, housekeeping, ground staff were always smiling and ever so helpful. I can’t recall all their names but the few I remember: Manis, Kavita, Sanjit, Ajay, Anil. The food at the restaurant was delicious too. We were suppose to stay 4 days but loved the nature, the staff, the peace so much we stayed an extra day! It was a perfect way to end our trip to India. Thank you everyone at the hotel for making us feel so at home!

It is a little further from town but you can just get a taxi for a day to bring you around. So I would say nothing I didn’t like about it.

Amazing location, with the Ganges flowing right besides the resort, a short steep climb down to the river. Another not to miss activity is the trek to a bridge & Ganges bank nearby. A very interesting early morning activity. the high tea in the evening is a nice refreshing break. The local garwahl dishes offered are amazing.

The pool could be heated/temperature controlled. The restaurant need to be a bit better equipped with choice of cuisine. The resort needs to offer some information in the welcome mail like the activities offered so that guests can be equipped with the required like hiking shoes etc, and the alternative routes that can be taken to reach the resort, the route through Rishikesh, at best, can be very tiring & congested.

The Ganga cottages were very private and comfy. Great views and perfect for Rishikesh vacation. Would love to visit again.

Staff staff staff! Raga is a beutiful resort set into the side of a mountain with fantastic views over the Ganga river. The staff are incredible attentive, and made our stay very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was great and the location is superb - it's quite far from Rishikesh center but nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a really relaxed vibe. Special mention must go to Gurupal Singh who works at the hotel and took us on a fantastic trek in the mountains one morning. He knows the area and also was excellent serving us in the restaurant. Shivani took us for a complementary yoga class on the beach which was also lovely. Rooms are probably not 5* standard anymore, they are a little tired and old and could be cleaner but the magic of the location made up for it.

Could have been cleaner, beds could be more comfortable and it probably needs an upgrade.

It was a brilliant stay and beautiful property. I loved the yoga session by Shivani she was so helpful and did a wonderful yoga session and trekking. Additionally in the facilities we went for the spa overlooking the valley and river. It was such a serene experience and the massage was really relaxing thanks to Neeraj the spa head she took great care of us. I have to really call out the food and service by Pankaj and team it was totally a delight. We didn’t feel the need to step out as the experience ,service and care in the resort was top class

The property was excellent and peaceful. I had the most wonderful room with view of the Ganges and short walk to all amenities. Thank you. I would highly recommend you stay here if you’re looking for a bit of peace amongst nature. The Ganga aarti felt very special with the small group of residents that stay here. I’m really picky when it comes to accommodation standards and Raga on the Ganges ticked it all for me.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel - the location on the banks of the Ganga is unreal and the daily sunrise hikes across the nearby bridge and down to the shores of the river are a MUST. Big shout out to Pankaj, the young activity manager! The food at the restaurant is fantastic and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The spa also offered great services at reasonable prices with a lot of timing flexibility.

The hotel is FAR out, so don’t expect to be able to pop into Rishikesh for day trips unless it’s well organized at least 24 hours in advance and don’t expect to leave until you have to make your next flight or leave Rishikesh. It doesn’t seem like many foreign travelers come here, so the level of English is not super high but everyone made their best effort and I had a great time. Be warned that there are often firecrackers that go off during the day to scare away naughty monkeys.

Excellent Staff, Very humble and quick responses. The breakfast spread was very good. The restaurant manager Kailash was Superb, the everr smiling and resourceful guy. Always on the lookout for Guests needs & Happiness.

The Bathroom should have a shower panel partition, so the water does not spread across the complete floor.
