Exceptional staff. So friendly and kind. Within walking distance to town. Superb view. Wonderful breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Rome was extremely small ( at least ours was, other rooms might be larger). Had just enough room to get around the bed (one at a time). Cleaning staff came too early. We would go down for breakfast and come back up to get our things to start the day and the room was either cleaned during that time, or one time they were right in the middle of cleaning and we had to wait in the hallway because there wasn’t enough room for 3 people in the room at once. Smokers the floor below us. We were on the 5th floor and some guest on the floor below us would smoke on their balcony both at night and in the morning and we had to close the window to keep the smell of smoke out.

The room was warm, with adjustable radiators. Beds had quality white linen and were very comfortable. Really clean, with an excellent rainfall shower and big mirror in the bathroom. The breakfast was extremely good with a wide range of cold items, cereals etc. and always scrambled eggs, tortilla and bacon. Location was perfect, 5 min walk from the old town.

The uphill walk back from town to the hotel may be off-putting for some. Thought it was slightly picky to be charged for coffee in the afternoon when it was free from the same machines at breakfast!

Beautiful view from the balcony. Clean and comfortable bed and room. Very good breakfast. Parking on site and included with no extra charge. Good value for the money.

The benefit of travelling in the non-peak season is that it is not crowded. The downside is that most of the restaurants were closed. The Hotel Blu Aran did not cause the restaurants to be closed. Just be aware that there were few dining options within walking distance in the off season.

The view from the window is the best part of the hotel room! The stuff was nice. The room was clean, nice, big enough bathroom.

The room was so tiny! I didn't expect it's gonna be this small. it was a bit uncomfortable. I didn't like the pillows, was very uncomfortable, gave me a stiff neck... Breakfast could be a bit better, eggs were always cold, even at the first hours of serving.

Excellent free car parking and friendly staff. Rooms clean and modern. Be aware that the hotel is on the edge of town and there is an uphill walk of about 10 minutes back to the hotel which some may find challenging

Breakfast was only average albeit included in price. Bacon not cooked. No fresh fruit such as pineapple, kiwi or strawberries.

Amazing views from the rooms, comfy beds, decent bathrooms and a fabulous breakfast buffet. The staff was very friendly and helpful, too.

No air-conditioning or ventilation in the room. Ok when you can open the window over night but might get stuffy in winter. The hotel is a tad further away from the center up a hill (maybe 7 minutes walk) which for some people may be too trying. But these aren't real issues!

Lovely hotel, clean comfortable room & a Mountain View balcony!

often struggle to find "boiling" water hot enough to brew tea in hotels abroad, this being no exception, the hot water in the coffee machine simply wasn't hot enough & tried to ask a catering staff to provide me with a cup of hot water so she microwaved it with the teabag still in & I got a hot cup of brown soupy looking liquid, probably the worst cup of tea I'd had all week.

The plentiful parking. The friendly and helpful staff. The porch with view. The bathroom. The breakfast room. The lobby.

The layout of our room which would sound very big if one went by square footage was awkward, space was wasted and it was hard for two people to move around in crucial sections (especially past the foot of the bed toward the porch door) without stepping over each other. There was space for one comfortable chair but none was provided. There were no bedside lights for reading, only one very harsh and clearing ceiling light.

This hotel is becoming a favourite on our journey to Spain. Our room on forth floor was lovely possibly recently refurbished as very high standard. We love the walk to a restaurant in the town for evening meal. Breakfast in the hotel was well presented with a wide variety of choices, all you could want including dairy free milk and gluten free cereal and decaf coffee.
