I have just slept here for one night. The hotel was very nice and clean and it met my expectations. I travelled by car and I needed a hotel a little bit outside of Athens to excape the chaos of the center in order to continue my journey without beeing capped in the horrible traffic of this city and this worked perfectly. The hotel also has a private parking place. From here you can easily reach the center going with your car to the metro station of Kifissia.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel’s location is perfect, with easy access to all the main attractions, including Athens city centre, and it’s surrounded by a great choice of restaurants and plenty of entertainment for kids. The swimming pools were very clean and well maintained, which made our time even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Mr. Nikos for kindly sharing so many helpful tips about where to go and what to see. And to Nora, Alexandra, and Sonia . thank you for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so special. We truly appreciate everything and will definitely be coming back!

Great value for money, staff were lovely, breakfast was good, nice pool, room was nice, but shower curtain wasn't great.

There are not many restaurants in the area to go for dinner. Also, we went for a walk on the first evening to look for somewhere to eat, and on the way back, a pack of 6 dogs started barking at us from across the road. A lot of stray dogs around, not safe to go walking as we were told that the dogs can attack, luckily for us they didn't. I love dogs, but this was quite scary. You would need to get a taxi there and back to go for food. Would be a good idea if the hotel served evening meal.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Athens! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was okay, a bit far from City center .

Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and not very appetizing. The location was a bit far from the Athens city center, and the taxes were really expensive.

It was a bit far from centrum wich I liked a lot. It was about 30min from centrum with taxi. It was very quiet and chill place. The place is located around the mountain. But you can also shop nearby with a bus about 20min from the hotel. I slept well every night and got a lot of energy. They say this is a better part of Athen. I will come back when the pool is open in summer. And they clean the room when you wish for it.

A bit expenses with the taxi or Uber. I took a taxi first day I arrived bc I’ve never been here before and it costs 55€. So better smart to stay there for a while. But be aware of there is a lot of stray dogs there. Don’t bring your children outside at night!

I don't understand Cavallari's relatively low booking.com rating (7.6). If you enjoy conventional hotels (I don't, but that's not relevant if I choose to stay in one), there is nothing not to like here. Friendly, English speaking staff; nice rooms with a/c, refrigerator and small balcony; and well maintained premises. After 1 May there is a large, outdoor swimming pool. Covered private parking is supplied. Price was very reasonable, 32€ for two in early April including breakfast -- a pleasant surprise which was not prominently mentioned in the listing when I booked. The buffet breakfast is very good. The only items missing from my point of view were bananas and hot cereal. It's in an outlying neighborhood and there are only a few nearby tabernas (restaurants) -- and surprisingly expensive ones at that. Public transit to downtown Athens takes 75-90 minutes via a bus and Metro, but the fare is cheap, 1.20€ per trip. A 5-day transit pass is only 8.70€, which saves money after 7 rides.

5* pool. Great price. When you factor in the pool and value combined with a car rental (due to its distance from centre; approx 35 min) Its still half the price of a central hotel with a quality pool. Great staff, v. Helpful. 2 decent restaurants opposite the hotel. Work out your priorities. But we had a good stay at Cavallari

Breakfast is basic but v. Acceptable as a continental style brekky. Toast, boiled eggs, cheese, ham and pastries along with a yoghurt bar, cereal and coffee machine. Don't know what others are complaining about as it's free! But the beds are very hard and showers are adequate but not great.

Booked 2 rooms among those one is suite with jacuzzi bath which was spacious and comfortable to enjoy a bath at the end of the day. The other standard room was quite small. We knew the location is quite far from centre which is fine with us as we just planned to relax there for few days by staying at the poolside. The pool was in good size and deep, even with a diving board. Enough sunbeds there to enjoy sunbathing. Just if there are parasols for shades would gain extra points. Breakfast was provided at the corner of the well decorated banquet room. Food is simple but still with enough varieties and is refilled continuously. Obviously the hotel is a bit aged and requires some uplifting but it provides everything you need. If it is refreshed, I am sure it will deserve higher rated. Anyway, it is fair for the room rate they charge. Staff are friendly and thoughtful. We arrived earlier than check in time, rooms were not ready yet. We were given bottles of cold water while waiting. And the day we left was very early in the morning around 6.40am. (Breakfast time starts 7am). Staff is kind enough for us to get coffee and some bites. It is valued for money.

The receptionist was welcoming and helpful. The two bedrooms were spacious enough and the beds were comfortable. We had a huge terrace. There are very good tavernas in the quiet neighborhood, Lidl and other shops are nearby. The breakfast offer is not sensational, but it is fine and sufficient. We had delicious coffee afterwards. We didn't try the pool, but overall we felt good at the accommodation.

First of all, I didn't like the amount of mosquitoes, but the hotel can't do anything about that. Neither of the two bedrooms had electricity in the sockets mounted on the walls. The shower curtain does not reach down to the tray, so the bathroom floods after every bath.

Very clean room, bedding, and towels. Location was idyllic with a view of the surrounding mountains. The king suite was very spacious and had a wrap-around balcony with a view of the beautiful pool grounds. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

It's not very soundproof, so you can hear loud noises from other rooms, like other guests' alarm clocks or the housekeeping staff moving furniture while cleaning. Also, the mattress are a bit hard and every inner spring can be felt, but this is unfortunately the case with most mattresses in Greece.
