The hotel is a distance away from center I was kind of skeptical at 1st but I went there and the staff was excellent the front desk person at night I think his name was Apostolos a very nice gentleman took time out to tell me how to use the Metro train line and there I bought me a Transport pass for all transportation around Athens buses, trains, subway etc it opened up a new adventure for me I explored Athens a new way it sacred me hundreds of Euros not using taxis and Uber... They wash your clothes too and if you're ok with eating at family style restaurants right down the road there's an authentic brick oven Italian restaurant... Across the Street there's an authentic Greek style diner with older Greek families singing with the Greek songs playing on the speakers... They don't speak too much English but with Google translate you'll be ok... There's also a bus line within 20 yards of the hotel and a Greek style grocery store .. it opened up a whole new vacation adventure rather than the normal tourist attractions... The manager I don't know what her name was she had red hair was very nice free breakfast was awesome...

It's kind of far but I explained the situation in the above...

We stayed here for one night because we had a late flight into Athens and the had to get on the road early the next morning. This place was perfect because it was right next to the highway. We had a very easy check in and there was some parking around the hotel, but it was in kind of a back alley. Not a lot of restaurants or things to do around, but for us it worked perfectly. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, breakfast was good, and service was FANTASTIC!

Clean and all the staff were so friendly and nice. They made sure we were comfortable and helped us get to places we wanted to go as it was our first time visiting Greece. Thank you to all the reception staff, you guys were all so nice.

The only thing we didn’t like was that there was no shower curtain/door.

The property was clean and the location was generally quiet, the staff were friendly and the breakfast option was decent. The value is exceptional considering what you get. The presence of a billiard table in the bottom floor is great as entertainment

while the location is quite, their seems to be one or two dogs in the neighbourhood that would bark for long stretches of time, the location while quiet is sadly far away from loads of services as such most trip need transport. The AC was off at night which was ok for me in the normal weather however my friend would’ve preferred it to be on for cooling.

TL;DR This place is awesome, convenient, clean and friendly to boot. Free parking and very safe and well lit all around the hotel. Breakfast is great too. The staff were amazing... so friendly and helpful. It felt like coming home to family every day after work. My room was perfectly cleaned every day, with fresh towels, and bed clothes steamed and spotless daily also. I consider myself to be quite healthy, and usually this means that hotel breakfasts are a no no, but not here. I grab myself eggs, a pastry, fresh fruit, fruit juice and a coffee every day. I even get a sandwich for lunch in a pinch. There is also toast, cake, cereal, and the usual if you fancy variety. Bottled water is complimentary and left out daily, and the sweets left out for customers are a welcomed treat after a hard days night. I have stayed elsewhere in Athens for work before landing on the Hotel Giorgio, and now I only stay here. I actually miss my hotel bed when I go home. The hotel is 4 minutes drive, if even from the highway which you can take to Elfisina, and the airport in 20 minutes, or to the city centre or seaside in less time. You are a 10 minute drive away from the Mall (largest shopping centre, and only 4 minutes drive to the Escape, a smaller shopping centre. If you need a friendly, clean place to stay while you work or travel and you consider a clean comfortable bed and room to be paramount and all for great value, then this place is for you. It's not the Ritz, nor does it claim to be, but I won't stay anywhere else now when I come to Athens for work. Thanks guys. I'll be back regularly. PS every room has a balcony, water is always hot hot, and they are not stingy with towels, shower gel, slippers, etc. as some places are. For an extra treat grab yourself and iced coffee at breakfast in the morning. Takes the sting out of the heat and a nice kick to start the day. Love this hotel. Oh and there is a TV in every room and free WiFi too!

Literally nothing. I've had poor experiences elsewhere in Athens and so I am glad to have found this place. Thank you Hotel Giorgio. Also love that there are plenty of sockets to charge devices. Too many other hotels have only one per room but not here... I count 5 in total

It is a safe area with short walking distance from the commuter train (that takes you to the airport)and next to the north highway. You get with taxi down to Acropolis in 15-20 minutes (approx 20 Euros). The beds have good level and the hotel looks quite elegant for being relatively cheap - value for the money. The reception is open 24h per day.

It should have been great to be able to pay pay extra in order to get access to an upgraded breakfast that has a bigger variety and quality, for example yoghurt, whole grain cerials, tomatoes/cucumber, nuts/raisins, fresh bread, fresh orange juice. I understan I cannot expect such a breakfast for the current price, but I would have been willing to pay extra.

Rooms were a good size and clean. Air conditioning seemed to work well. We arrived late and checked in easily. Staff were super friendly. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee facility in the room but when we asked the receptionist made us hot drinks free of charge.

Noting we didn’t like.

Location was very good for me. Very close to the highways that I needed and close to the destinations to visit relatives and my friends.

The shower had no metal ring to hold the curtain. So there was no curtain and the water was scattered all over.

Big room with balcony. They gave us water in the morning before leaving for the day.

Poor breakfast. Issue with the parking place.. After 2 nights, they told us the place we parked was for another floor of the hotel and we have to move the car. In the next morning, they told us they were making work there and that is why we have to move the car. So.. Moving the car for no reason cuz there were no work done that we could see and for the last night..

Very friendly staff, good breakfast.

Noisy fan when the air conditioning/heating is on. Bathroom with open shower directly invites to flooding in the bathroom 😅 Nothing dramatic, but not entirely comfortable.
