Newly renovated Rooms are really nice, and a big step above what you would expect from the original exterior and the outstanding value for the competitive price...!!! - plus had a Strong & Hot Shower, comfortable bed, and very quiet. The service was always friendly, helpful, and even flexible when my plans changed unexpectedly.

Nothing really negative to pick at, though it is easy to miss the entry and then can make you second guess yourself on driving in - but have faith it's a hidden gem. Other than that, the Ladies obviously have an occasional issue here and there reopening and as they get this old girl back shape and singing again - but they are doing a great job and I wish them every success and will definitely be back! Good to deal with the actual owners for change as well - def try it out and support the battlers having red hot go!!

The staff and other guests were friendly. Mum and daughter team, hospitable and accommodating! I will come back if I'm in Glen Innes again. I do recommend staying here and the bed was so comfortable and the Air Conditioning cools the room down real quick. Room was clean, everything necessary was provided.

My only real complaint, given that I was travelling for work and considering all the sorts who would be in a motel (including those fleeing domestic violence), was the WiFi being restricted by them. The WiFi works fine for youtube, google etc. but lots of sites that I needed for work and that I can imagine may generally be needed, were blocked. These included: northernriverswhs.com.au, police.nsw.gov.au, safework.nsw.gov.au. I'm pretty sure the court database was blocked (caselaw.nsw.gov.au). I had to hotspot off my phone just to access safe/professional websites which defeats the purpose of WiFi. I then thought about vulnerable people, dvconnect.org was blocked, beyondblue was blocked and so were many others.

Good size room, air con kept us warm. Loved there were actual plates, bowls, cutlery, decent sized coffee mugs and glasses in your room. Nice hot shower. Added bonus was a little note pad and pen. Its just those little extras that helps show they are considering guests. Owner is friendly and helpful. These are new owners who are gradually updating the hotel and highly receptive to constructive feedback, which is very appreciative. Will most definitely return.

Overall stay and resources in room great, if one thing maybe wifi could be stronger. But in all was great stay, highly recommend.

This was a last minute booking and the accommodation was fine, clean and had what we needed. It was also great being a pet friendly property as we needed to have our dog with us. There were a lot of food places close by which helped us feed a larger family. Linen was also good including towels and it was really good to have both hand towels and face washers as many places dont supply these anymore. Was 100 percent better than the accommodation we had the night before in Grafton. Also great that they turn the bright outside lights off during the night.

The taps needed a little maintenance and the aircon but otherwise it was fine and very quiet.

Pet friendliness was fantastic! Our road-tripping Kelpie thought it was the best thing ever! For the humans, the spa was a winner. We left it a bit late to book so it was the only room left, but it was worth the extra expense after a big day of travelling.

It was a cold night, but couldn't see any heating. The room wasn't freezing, but it wasn't warm, either.

There were no place to wash up dishes or a broom in the room to sweep up grass etc that accumulated after 3 days in and out the room. Also there was no exhaust fan to take moisture out of bathroom, water accumulated on floors and walls etc. lastly the bathroom vanity sink was leaking.

Clean and comfortable. There is a decent off-leash space out the back for dogs to explore. However, it is unfneced as yet.

The staff are doing a good job of cleaning the place up and providing quality accommodation. There is some work left to do. The tap in our room leaked unless turned off very hard, and the hot water took a long time to come through.

The room was wonderful... Plenty of room, comfortable bed, plenty of pillows (this is lacking in a lot of hotels now)... It's been recently renovated and looks great...

The only thing I didn't like was that the air con was a little noisy and that the volume and channel buttons didn't work on the TV remote...

We had a great stay at the Jillaroo. Very comfortable and warm, with nice touches like proper plates and cutlery and even a wash basin to clean everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay here again.

Whilst the Motor Inn is older we found our room to be absolutely spotless and some very thoughtful inclusions such as toiletries and quality crockery and tea/coffee making facilities. The new management are incredibly lovely and it was so refreshing to find hosts that welcomed our little dog as an important part of our family!
