The young Man that checked me in was so very pleasant. While the motel may be a bit older it was well appointed and felt familiar, like an old friend's house. I liked the desk and tables, the lounge chairs and table. The bathroom was spacious it had lovely well flowing hot water, absorbent towels, lots of drying racks.The bed was warm with electric blankets and the room was lovely and warm and dark as well. I was not disturbed and slept a full 8 hours. I hope when I need to stay in Glen Innes that the room/ property is available.

The fact that there are no pets allowed. I had to leave my little dog in he's carry cage in the shed, at my land at Dundee. I think that rule should be a little flexible and based on size and behavior habits of a particular dog. In my case my dog is very quiet, and is never allowed on my carpets or bedding or furniture and always prefers to sleep in a container on the bathroom floor.

Trip memories somewhat blurred: Gippsland, VIC to East Lismore, NSW, in 3 days. Return trip started on same day as arrival because friend being visited tested Civid19 positive the day before my arrival (I was at Tenterfield, 200km from Lismore, when notified.) I was taking heaters to her flood-repaired house. LIKED: room arrangement, heating, facilities and positive cheerfulness of host/manager.

A few cobwebs in far corner of room - noticed only when I hung my slightly wet jacket to dry on the end of the curtain rail. (I quite happily removed the cobwebs with toilet-paper wound around the end of the toilet brush!!)

The room was clean and, although the motel was a little dated, my room was very comfortable. The motel is right next to a petrol station that also sold basic food lines etc. It was just outside the main town so quiet. It was in easy access to local attractions. The motel was very reasonably priced and rated a budget motel. GOOD VALUE!

Only downside was continental breakfast was only toast. Also the room had a toaster, kettle and microwave but no plates or cutlery. These were available from the office on request as 'extras'. Not sure if that involved an extra cost.

Disappointed in no breakfast being available.

Driveway had many potholes.staff were excellent

The room (Mine was No 8) was spotlessly clean with a large and very comfortable bed. Bedside reading lights were provided but I also had my own bedside light. A comfortable sofa and coffee table are provided as well as a dining table with two chairs, and a desk and office chair. There was a small freezer / refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and toaster, as well as crockery and cutlery for two. The Chinese / Thai / Malaysian restaurant served me a HUGE Thai fried rice with tons of vegetables and prawns and chicken ($20.00) for dinner, and the complimentary breakfast next morning (fresh coffee and juice, toast, bacon, tomato and egg) was excellent "value". Location on Goonoo Goonoo Road is just out of town but for travellers coming from the North and continuing to head south it is well located.

I really like hotels / motels that use a simple duvet - rather than sheets wrapped around a blanket. This motel uses the latter approach and while everything was spotlessly clean, I do prefer the simpler approach.

For a budget priced motel the facility was really good and while being clean and tidy provided all the necessities s.g. Tea towel, adequate towels, iron and ironing board, a choice of pillows.Manager for the afternoon was helpful and his canine companion was like a big cuddly bear who was very welcoming.

PLEASE...put in a couple of coffee mugs!!! Also a couple of plates, bowls and a couple of sets of cutlery. You have a microwave, but nothing to heat food in!

Quiet motel situaled in town on New England Hwy with off street parking. Easy to find, and fill up with a petrol stn next door. Polite and friendly staff. Inhouse menu. 5min drive to CBD. Large, clean room, fresh linens, fresh carpet, clean large bathroom. Queen size bed. Fridge, coffee/tea making facilities, microwave, flatescreen TV and 2x TV chairs. A table and chairs, ironing facilities in room and hair-dryer. Large full window across one wall allowing natural light and view of a lush clover paddock. Aircon and electric blankets. A very relaxing stay.

External look of motel is tired needs a spruce up. Same with dark Reception area.

The appearance of the motel gardens looked run down witlh overgrown weeds.. As the 1 motel staff member also maned the attached service station. So he was busy running between the 2 sites. The photo of the motel website wasn't so accurate with how I saw the gardens and BBQ area .

The car park had puddles despite being gravel. From a practical point of view. From a practical poinjt of view this would have applied to all of NSW and SE Qld that night so I wouldn't blame the motel.
