Absolutely perfect place to stay. Room 210 is wonderful - medium sized double, en-suite with a balcony that has just amazing views over the lake and the town. The hosts are amazing - always answer any questions promptly and very friendly and helpful. The whole villa is beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and there is a shared kitchen and dining room downstairs, with free coffee, tea, soup and some very nice biscuits! There's also a fridge there for use if you wanted it. Location is brilliant - rignt in the heart of the old town but also manages to be very quiet. If you walk the other way, you have all the old ruins etc. Lots of nice touches like a QR code that takes you to local recommendations, a button to press in your room should you want cleaning, towel replacement etc., which I far preferred to having to remember to put Do Not Disturb signs on the door! All in all, just perfect. Wouldn't stay anywhere else and recommending it to everyone!

Villa Varosh was amazing! Very nice room on 2nd floor with balcony and awesome lake views. Common kitchen with coffee machine, cookies, fruit was just very nice. Dining room with 3 tables and a patio with 4 tables and chairs to sit out. The rooms got serviced everyday too.The hosts were just very helpful and check-in was a breeze. We also met some fellow very friendly Aussies staying in the villa and really just loved our stay at Villa Varosh. Location was just perfect. 2 min down to lake, 10 mins to central square and attractions, walking street, cafes. We highly recommend 110% to stay here without hesitation!

No lift only stairs if you have big heavy suitcases..but wasn't an issue for us.

I stayed at Villa Varosh for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and it truly didn’t feel like I was away from home. The warm and thoughtful hosts — a lovely couple — made me feel incredibly welcomed from the moment I arrived. Upon check-in, I was pleasantly surprised to find a chocolate gift waiting in the room. The space itself is beautifully designed, cozy, and well-maintained. The common area is always stocked with fresh fruit, cookies, tea, and coffee, which was a lovely touch. The hosts went above and beyond — they not only gave me excellent recommendations for a birthday dinner but also made a reservation on my behalf. On the day of my departure, when no taxi could reach the villa due to the busy summer season and I had heavy luggage, the host kindly drove me to the bus station himself. Villa Varosh feels like staying with family. The location is ideal — right in the heart of the old town, within walking distance to the church, bazaar, and the lake. A truly wonderful experience!

We stayed in the beautiful penthouse apartment with wonderful view. Spotlessly clean and well cared-for. Superb location in the heart of the old town. Parking was easy to find.

The only minor issue we had was a lack of blackout blinds in the main bedroom. We woke very early each day due to the room being very bright. Also, the second, smaller bedroom has no a/c, and it did get quite hot at night. Not related to the property itself but…. if you arrive by car, the car park is located at the top of a steep hill, so returning there with your bags is a little challenging (but only a few minutes of climbing!).

Our Ohrid trip was great and Villa Varosh played an very important role on this. I dont know where to start but I have to say that communication was great before we arrived the place. I received very quick replies to all my questions. Place was great, very clean. But I have to underline this; Maybe it is cleaner than any place which I stayed till today. We booked 2 rooms and both of them are great. Beds, pillows, blankets… They are all very comfortable. Location is also very good. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Ohrid.

Everything was fantastic! Beautiful and well-maintained property with tastefully decorated rooms. Easy but secure check-in system and access to the property. Great location in the old town, close to the lake and a handful of excellent restaurants. The owner (Slavica) was extremely kind and let me contact my family using her phone as mine had broken during my trip. Highly recommend Villa Varosh!

Minor point and may have been the taxi company - the taxi that the host booked for me never showed up, so I had to start walking to the bus station early in the morning on the day of my departure. Luckily I managed to find another taxi and made it in time for my bus back to Skopje.

This was my best experience. Starting from how administrative greeted me and ending with how they said goodbye to me. It’s not for nothing that they say that the devil is in the details. Everything in this villa is made with love, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. I’m Ukrainian, and when, at the entrance to my apartment, I saw a sign with the flag of my country and the inscription in my native language “Ласкаво просимо” I was even confused from surprise. Near the bed I found a sign with a QR code, which you can click on to find recommendations for restaurants and attractions. Downstairs at the reception you can use a beautiful map of the area for free, or take an umbrella at the entrance in case of bad weather. And when you check out, the landlady will give you a magnet as a souvenir. Why am I not telling you about the room now, but because it is beautiful, and it is 100% consistent with the photos and its price. But all these million details that will surround you indicate that you will feel very comfortable. Many thanks to the management of the villa, keep it up!!

I cannot recommend this property enough. Lake Ohrid is so beautiful but difficult to get to for international travelers. The accommodation helped us find transport before and during our stay and they were so kind to us throughout. The property is located in the stunning Old Town, it has beautiful views of the lake and it is extremely modern and comfortable. There is a great common room with complimentary coffee. The value for money is outstanding in Europe.

We were welcomed very warmly by the hotel owner. The room was very clean and very warm. We were never cold on a cold winter day. The location of the hotel is very nice. Walking distance to important sites and restaurants.

A capsule coffee machine in the room and a few capsules of coffee would be nice. Because it is difficult to get up in the morning and reach the common cafe. But everything in the cafe is delicious.

Everything, I never seen a more detailed villa than this one. There were no staff at all, you had to get the key from the box with a personalized pin, then the kitchen and everything in there, you could use it. The room was very clean, the view was perfect, in the room, there was a QR code, when I generated it, I found all the information about the property, Ohrid, best places to eat, best places to visit and a lot of things. Also there is parking very near the property, free parking, and the property was 100-200 meters from the Ohrid centre.

There is nothing to complain about this property, everything was fine.
