The breakfast was excellent… continental affair with fresh baguette and local jams & yoghurt… also complimented with artisan local fruit juice and exceptional coffee… served by a lovely lady who was very friendly and hospitable ….. the hotel is a traditional budget hotel which is being restored to its former glory by the proprietor Vincent. He is amazingly professional, polite and welcoming (and also speaks excellent English). We had all the creature comforts in our room which ensured we had a very comfortable stay in the centre of Narbonne. The location is dead central with easy access to the local eateries either side of the canal and the local historical buildings. All top drawer and we’ll definitely be back.

The location. Very close Les Halles. Very close to the free bus. Choose this bus to arrive from the station. The manager was very attentive. The room was better equipped than any other 2 star accommodation we have stayed in over the past two weeks

Some reviews will point to the age of the building and the less than perfect appearance.. Ignore them .

A charming and comfortable hotel. The hostess was welcoming and pleasant. The location was quiet, but only steps away from sites and restaurants. I was in room 3, and it was recently renovated. It was comfortable, large, and very fresh feeling. The breakfast was nice as well. Great coffee. All in all, it was a very nice stay. If I'm ever in Narbonne again, I know where I will stay

Vincent, the proprietor, was wonderfully kind, helpful, and attentive--the perfect host. Breakfasts featured fresh, local ingredients. The room was comfortable, with temperatures guests can control with a clicker. Location could not have been better, within close walking distance of a number of restaurants and the city market.

There were not enough electric outlets, and the tub/shower was high-sided, really needing a grab bar. (I should qualify this by saying that there was a note in the room indicating it was part of an ongoing program of refurbishment, so these issues may be addressed during that process). All the bedrooms are up at least one flight of stairs, with no elevator (guests with mobility challenges or a lot of luggage should take note).

A really friendly family run hotel. They sorted out a revision to our booking caused by a train strike and arranged a taxi for us for an early morning departure. Comfy room with large bathroom . No more than 4 mins to Narbonne cathedral and less to the lovely market . It’s not plush but is well presented and cared for.

Nothing really but it’s always nice to have a kettle in the room.

My Wife and I arrived on bicycles after a long day on our bikes and Vincent the owner contacted us by text to give us information on hotel access, so we didn't have to worry about arrival time. Our bikes were stored in a safe secure area and we collapsed into our lovely large room. The hotel is right in the centre of Narbonne and a short stroll from all sights and restaurants. Vincent's colleague, Claire was very helpful identifying all the places to visit including the Charles Trenet museum and we enjoyed chatting with Claire about our visits. Claire was particularly considerate in listening to our efforts at speaking French. Loved this hotel and our stay was made all the more enjoyable by Vincent's and Claire's enthusiastic help and welcome.

Fantastic location near to Les Halles which was a wonderful experience. Great walking everywhere. And good humoured, helpful staff. Close by to supermarket to pick up snacks or picnic goodies and drinks.

Tricky access as did not have local phone or recent wifi message availability. Did t have door code in advance so was simply lucky that someone exited the building so we could get in and get our ‘envelope’ of instructions and keys as no one on reception upon our arrival. Clarify access before arrival.

Love this hotel! Especially with new owner and gracious host— Corinne is the best! We had a spacious, comfortable room, bikes securely parked in courtyard. Special breakfast with great coffee and several delicious gluten free crackers and cookies. And in a perfect location!

Extremely well located horel - just a few minutes walk from all the main historic sites and bars. Staff were very welcoming and helpful

It is a little basic, but that is reflected in the price. It is a perfect hotel for a city break.

This is an small family hotel, with extremely friendly staff, that went over the expected to be sure that our stay was perfect.

If I have to say something, the room was a bit old but that was totally expected from a building that close to the center. Having said that is was visible that the hotel was being improved
