Casa Babel is the kind of charming hotel that invites you to wander around, discovering thoughtful details and wondering about its history, all while being constantly impressed by its tasteful design and the care with which it’s maintained. The hotel exceeded our expectations—I’m always amazed by hidden gems like this, tucked away in small villages. It’s one of those rare places you genuinely want to return to, simply because of the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the warm, welcoming attitude of the staff. On top of that, the food in their restaurant was fantastic. I ordered a steak, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had!

The AC in our room worked loudly.

Characterful traditional Spanish hotel. This was a one night stopover for me on the way to the airport and it was just right as the town is very quiet and laid back. All facilities you could want and attentive staff. I was in a building separate from the main hotel but only a short walk away. Large bed/living room and shower room. Located in centre of Villa Longa with all services to hand. Parking is not a problem. Good value for money and a cut above alternative options.

I was very happy with my room in a separate building but I didn't get to judge the main hotel rooms.

Staff very friendly, i was sent messages welcoming me the day before and on the day a nice touch. The breakfast was served on a long large tray with everything you could want continental style. A very nice peaceful enviroment for a relaxing stay.

I have nothing bad to say about the hotel, maybe the air con in the room was a bit noisy some of the time.

This was a little GEM of a find, what a wonderful little hotel with stunning decor and rooms. We had so much fun just taking in the beauty of the hotel and all its little Nic naks. Nestled in the quaint little village with some wonderful areas to explore. Such Friendly staff that made such an effort for us being non-Spanish speaking.

Was a wonderful stay, the only thing I would say that could be improved is perhaps a kettle in the room for a tea or coffee, although there was an excellent restaurant and cafe downstairs that you could grab your beverage of choice.

missed some crucial bits like very little shampoo and toiletries in the room. Had to ask for the heating to be switched on.

Absolutely incredible place. You HAVE to stay here compared to all of the other options around. We were in Gandia and Oliva and drove out here and it was definitely worth it. The building, the history, the decor, the staff, the rooms, the beds, the food!! Honestly don’t miss it

Casa Babel is lovely rustic style renovated townhouse with modern conveniences in a quiet location of a reasonably active village. There is a very nice on-site restaurant serving reasonably priced delicious food. The staff are outstanding, always helpful and ensuring that my stay was going well and I was comfortable. A big mention for Fernando who went above and beyond when I had an issue with my hire car on the last day, he came to the rescue with his trusty Segway and saved the day! Thanks to all for a lovely stay, albeit short.

A little more attention should be paid to small maintenance issues in the room.

The style, charachter, deco, service from start to finish and the food. Dinner was delicious and so reasonably price for its exquisite dishes. Breakfast was a tray FULL of every type of continental delight. And the coffee... exceptional! We would absolutely stay in this hotel again and only wished we had had more time to spend IN the hotel, on this visit. It is SO luxurious.

Petty things... you have to hold the shower head, there's no support on the wall, in the bathroom we had. I personally don't like foamy mattresses and the A/C wasn't quite in the right position to make where the bed is cool enough on a hot night, which it was.

We were given an apartment which was very large. The apartment was well equipped and decor and furniture very tasteful.

Dinner was superb. We loved the property with its library, old features and decor. The breakfast was inspired and more than we could eat. All in all, great value for money!
