We loved the bedroom with a sea view and the well-equipped communal kitchen/lounge for the self-service breakfast. Above all, the roof top terrace was a lovely sunny place for a glass of wine. Reviews of Taranto's centro storico warned that it was very run down, but we loved it! So much history and character. Don't miss the marble side chapel in the nearby duomo.

Be mindful there is a tall skinny spiral staircase to a couple of the bedrooms. No problem for us, but it could be tricky for some guests.

Easy remote access. Good location on the edge of the old city near the waterfront and within walking distance of train station. Bus from bus station stops nearby. Lovely communal living area/breakfast room. Hosts very kindly allowed a change of dates which was necessary due to national train strike. Great communication.

The rooftop terrace was absolutely amazing. Location in old town and the busier center is not a far away walk. Room was clean with a nice bathroom and a small french balcony to hang your big towels etc. Staff was very communicative and helpful

The stairs were very steep, no issue for us but might be an issue if you’re not very mobile. Breakfast was decent

AMAZING!! Taranto is a delicious city to spend time in, and this hotel has so much vibrational frequency its off the charts. Your surrounded by 3000 years of soul history. The neighborhood is abandoned ancient buildings that at first look dingey, but once you spend time there you'll see the flocks of starlings and you'll hear peace. The room was perfect, gourmet bathroom and very big and comfy bed. There is a kitchen common area for cooking and making tea. Games and books line the walls. The best part is the roof. I chilled there and rested my weary bones here for hours and watched both the sunrise and sunset. Epic. Karma. This is why I travel. To find these gems. The owners are also very nice and warm and positive. Much appreciated 🙏 ☺️.

The location is great and the place is beautiful. It has a terrace with a nice view of the "mar Piccolo" and "città vecchia" . The windows are isolated and you don't hear the noise of the street, despite being a live area. The owners are very nice and helpful.

Cooking facilities, location in the historic centre but just off and visible from one of the old city's main roads. Helpful owner and breakfast included superb cornettos (croissants) from nearby cafe.

Had to telephone owner when arrived at premises door to get in.

Very nice place to stay, in the center location, close to all attraction. There is no private direct parking at B&B but there was always a space in the front on the street to park the car (November). Friendly and helpful host, lovely roof terrace.

Super location, nice beds, neet rooms and common areas, lovely roof terrace with herbs growing all around it. Would definetely stay here again. Very nicely restored old building with lots of charm, seaview and pretty solutions.

Active web-camera surveilance in the common area was not informed about and was discovered in the middle of our breakfast with the kids. It felt very intrusive and unnecessary to have a camera there. Hope it will be removed in the future.

Great position in the old town. Clean and well presented. Every room had an ensuite. Yummy breakfast croissants.

Difficult to get suitcases up spiral stairs. Pack light.

Good location, clean, place in freezer dedicated to each room.

Poor breakfast, leakage in bathroom sink. Therefore there was bad smell from it.
