Fantastic place with a variety of rooms and extremely well run with friendly staff. We are on extended travels and stayed a week in Dalat to enjoy the good food, cool climate, quirky alleys, endless coffee houses, and friendly people. The Feliz is on a charming and characterful alley and far enough away from the main streets to be quiet. The location is perfect. Our superior studio room was spacious and on the second floor with nice balconies overlooking the alleyway. It was very comfortable and decorated to make you feel at home, while providing a modern experience and good bathroom and shower. The Netflix and YouTube on a large tv with couch to relax in the evenings was great. We loved the filtered water and bananas available in the lobby, as well as lots of good info QR codes to populate your Google maps with restaurants, sights, and services.

Really nothing, but maybe a side or coffee table with the couch to put drinks on, and we really won’t miss the squawking bird in the alley (only in daytime and you do get used to it!)

Although tucked away in a small alley, this homestay truly exceeded our expectations. The building layout is modern and well thought out, with a spacious and airy design that strikes a perfect balance between comfort and elegance—just right for a homestay experience. The room was spotlessly clean, and the receptionist was genuinely friendly and helpful, which made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. All amenities were fully provided, and everything you might need for a self-catering stay was already there—from kitchenware to toiletries. A nice daily bonus: fresh bananas! (My wife loved this little touch.) While we didn’t use the in-room kitchen, we appreciated how practical it would be for families or those planning longer stays. One of the most thoughtful touches was the host's curated guide to local spots. They had compiled a detailed collection of places to eat, visit, and relax, categorized by different needs and interests. This saved us a lot of time and made exploring Da Lat incredibly easy and enjoyable. The location is incredibly convenient—just a 3-minute walk to Da Lat Market. Within walking distance, you’ll find pharmacies, coffee shops, street food, and cozy corners to stroll and explore. The alley itself has a lovely local vibe, featuring colorful murals that are perfect for quick photo shoots. There are also several small eateries right in the alley, so you can easily grab breakfast or dinner without needing to go far. All in all, a cozy, clean, and beautifully located stay. Would absolutely come back!

It didn’t have a window, which wasn’t a big issue for us, but adding a small ventilation fan would really help improve air circulation. Otherwise, a great spot for a short stay!

If you’re coming to Da Lat, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Feliz Dalat Homestay. The location is great. It’s down a quiet little alley with some cool bars, coffee shops and places to eat. It’s also really close to the main centre and a short walk to the lake. We stayed in the studio apartment and the room was clean and spacious. The staff at the hotel were super kind and helpful. We especially appreciated their help when we arrived in Da Lat earlier than expected. They helped with all our questions and were keen for us to have a comfortable stay. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay here again if we are back in Da Lat.

It would be great if there could be a mirror in the bedroom

Right from the very start, Hung and Thu Trang (our hosts) made sure that our stay would be impeccable. Despite making a last-minute booking, Hung diligently addressed our queries and gave thoughtful recommendations on what we could do. We were traveling as a family, and booked two rooms. Hung helped to set up such that our two rooms were beside each other, which really helped a lot! Feliz Dalat Homestay is very homely, modern and clean. The rooms are spacious, well ventilated and the beds are comfortable. There is good water pressure, plumbing and heated water for showers. This meant that the rooms were a place you could feel rested in, giving you a peace of mind. The location is excellent. The street itself is on an incline, flanked by art murals, local eateries and western cafes. It's located practically at the city center, a 3min stroll brings you to the night market area. This central location makes it very easy to find taxi and Grab car if you want to travel out of the city. Breakfast was provided in a very interesting and novel fashion -- coupons can be redeemed at partner food places just a few steps away. These provided us with the chance to try local delicacies like Banh Can and Bun Bo from local food stalls. Hung and Thu Trang also brought us out for breakfast one of the days, which really allowed us to learn how the locals have their breakfast. Most importantly, our stay was brought to a 10/10 must-stay experience thanks to the hospitality of Hung, Thu Trang and their staff. They made us feel welcomed, were very attentive to any requests and took the chance to get to know us and form friendships. They really help you feel close to the city, learning more about life in Da Lat and how to best enjoy our time in Da Lat. We are already looking forward to the next time we get to visit this lovely city and stay at Feliz Dalat Homestay once again!

There was nothing we didn't like

This felt like a hotel and was soooo comfortable and clean. The shower was amazing and the bed was super comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful - even helping to arrange our bus tickets for our onward journey. They also have so much information in reception with google lists of restaurants and activities etc. that you can scan on to your phone from an iPad which I thought was such a clever touch. It was also so lovely to have a big tv with Netflix which meant we could watch a film one night comfortably. The location is also perfect with so many restaurants, the night market, bakeries, and shops all within walking distance which was perfect!!!

Because there was no proper windows in our room there wasn’t great air circulation and it was very rainy in Dalat at the time, this meant our wet stuff never really dried and by the end everything felt a bit damp.

Helpfull friendly staff. Clean, good bathroom, modern place. We booked a room with a small kitchen, which came very handy for selfmade breakfast. Situated in a small alley, which nade it quiet during the night.

The room we had (101), had a corner with two windows for some fresh air and light from outside. These windows had no blinding curtains and came out on a small inner courtyard. When the room above turned on the lights, this light came though the small courtyard indirectly in our room. Impossible to sleep, until they turn off the lights. Suggestion to the owner: place roll-up curtains.

Everything was great about this spot! The property is beautifully done, located centrally, and the staff.... I lost our passports and owner went above and beyond at every step to help locate and breech the communication barrier to help us get our passports back. This was entirely my fault but he was compassionate about our plight and as supportive as he possibly could be. We ended up getting them back and were able to continue on our vacation thanks to his efforts eliminating possible locations and open communication. If you are thinking about Dalat as a destination, don't hesitate as the people are amazing and be sure to stay here for an amazing experience. Thanks again Our Family

Hosts are very nice and helpful, spoke some English. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. All toiletries were provided (except for hair conditioner). I like that you can self serve if you need any additional towels or extras like toothbrush, combs, or soap. Location was pretty good for us, located up on a sloped alley, which means cars can't drive up there but bikes can. You would have to roll any luggage you have up the slope but it also means less noise from the large street. It is pretty close to the main city center so most places are walkable (lots of good food places within 20 minute radius).

We got a room on the 2nd floor (which is technically the 3rd floor because there is a ground and then 1st floor). There is an elevator. The unfortunate thing was that sometimes we can smell cigarette smoke from people outside that gets carried into the building and up into the top floor. The hosts close the exterior gate after hours (8pm to about 6am), which you can open with a keycard they provide you. The pillows were a bit hard for us. The shower water temperature was not consistent, drifting between overly warm to slightly chilly whole the knob was in the middle. It was a little annoying but the water doesn't burn or freeze you.

The room we had was very large and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of advice & recommendations for local restaurants, bars laundry etc. We hired a driver for a day through them at a very reasonable price and the car and driver were great. Cheapest minibar I have seen in many hotels, not the normal rip off prices.

Not that I didn't like, but the homestay is on a steep hill and is a 30 metre walk from the road. Was not an issue for us but if somebody has mobility issues it could be an issue.

Feliz Dalat Homestay is an absolute gem of a place. This small 10 room hotel is located in a quaint laneway only 3 minute walk to the night markets, which is the central hub of Dalat. Although so close to the busy town centre we felt as though we were miles away. The room and homestay facilities were exceptionally clean and modern. Our room was large and comfortable, with a kitchenette and balcony that overlooked the tiny bars and cafe's of the lane. Loved our stay here, and can't recommend it highly enough.
