My stay was for 3 nights and I was away each day. Returning to my room was comfortable and easy to just kick back. The bed itself was very comfortable. The atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed and friendly, with other guests and staff without being too invasive. It seems centrally located with easy access to eateries, Super markets, petrol stations, and venue's of interest. I have booked for a return visit.

Thi hotel is definitely a work in progress. It seems upgrading is under way of rooms and the restaurant and bar. Some things seemed quant such as the shower over the bath and the shower door that let the water run onto the floor. There was no phone in the room, which kind of left me feeling a little cut off from the reception, strange as that sounds. Limited number of tv channels and heating which was a convection heater with manual controls. All of this was not terrible, but just unexpected, and maybe a little irritating.

Rachel on reception looked after us well. We arrived early and she arranged an pre-3pm check in for us.

Drop box for room key is inside next to reception and we were told to put our room key there if reception was closed. We were staying in an outside unit. When we went to leave at 07.30, I couldn' t get in the main doors as they weren't open yet and I didn't have a code to punch in. I ran around to the after- hours entry door (opposite Big Barrel) but I didn't have the after-hours door key on my key set. So I then had to run back to my unit 853, place the key back inside the unit and then run back to my car around the main entrance car park.

Although we didn’t actually see staff due to late check in, early check out the communication via email and text was excellent and very appreciated. We had received communication that the ground floor room we’d requested was very basic and were expecting that it might not be so good. It was actually great. The beds were comfy, the access was easy, it was very clean and had everything we needed.

The shower over a bath tub was a little bit of a hazard stepping in and out but non slip mats and plenty of places to hold on to while stepping in and out reduces this as much as the facilities could possibly do so we appreciated that.

The staff were very accommodating. We were out in an older outside wing at first but when we asked if we could move inside to be closer to friends also staying the staff were very helpful and it was all sorted in a few minutes. The rooms were warm and the beds were comfortable

The constant, ubiquitous reminders about keeping the noise down made me worry that it might be something they struggle with but either the walls are thicker than they think, or everyone's obeying the rules! We had a very peaceful stay. But if a walk from downtown but easy access by car

Easy to find and very close to 2 supermarkets and just a short walk into the main centre. Fridge and kettle in room. Friendly staff who were accommodating and stored my bike in the reception area overnight as not allowed in rooms but they were happy to help. Unable to leave until reception opened after 8am but it was ok.

Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing renovations so the restaurant was unavailable and there was construction areas / view from my room but I know this is to improve it in the future. It didn't really affect me other than the builders still working for a bit after my arrival just close outside my room.

N/a The restaurant is having a makeover. Which we knew about it but location had a huge choice so it didn't matter. 3 supermarkets so close all the usual food outlets . but the unit was still very quiet inside

Little things can be improved appropriately. The outside seating needs a sweep after lawns are done. The upgrades being done could/should include a larger bathroom, rather than the 2 beds in the room it could be made into a delightful suite especially if disability was thought of. But we did enjoy ourselves and the room. The bed I wanted to bring home

Staff were phenomenal and understanding. We extended our stay for 2 nights for personal reasons and they were really lovely about it. They "penciled" in the extra 2 night booking and every morning if we choose to stay another night we just went to reception and paid. Noting it was during the week and during a quiet season. Pool was great!

Wifi wasn't consistent or very fast. Found it hard at times to connect and work. We all had data we could use, so wasn't the biggest inconvenience.

Great size room, comfy bed. Great pressure shower (although being a fixed head is a little disappointing) Reception staff were lovely

Housekeeping staff were LOUD, don't plan to sleep past 8.30am on a Sunday. The room itself was lovely, but just a little lacking - having tissues in the main area, and something like cotton buds would be nice to have available (and in line with other accommodation at a similar price point).

lovely staff, pre-empted our needs spotted paper plates used for cereal forkids breakfast and dropped off real plates and spoons without being asked, housekeeping polite prompt. even vaccuumed toddler crumbs up midstay. definitely recommend for families.

I'm a plus sized customer and I couldn't fit into the shower stall in the bathroom. Would also be a tight fit for any big men and or pregnant woman. The water spout was also not disability accessible and sprayed water into the bathroom. But clean and amazing staff.

Location to all amenities!👌 The unit we stayed in 811, and car parking was.👌 The room was warm each time we came back.👌 Thank you to the housekeepers for cleaning the room. We thought we were tidy. 😂 And fresh towels.👌

I know the dining area was closed, but I would rather pay for breakfast at this facility than go and pay somewhere else. Just my thoughts. Hopefully, it gets up and running again. With/without breakfast included, which would be a bonus. 🙏 The swimming pool closed too early for maintenance. Close it after the school holidays. Stayed 2 nights. April 19-21 2024
