Our stay at King's Court Motel was truly wonderful and comfortable. We were impressed by how clean the motel was, and we especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen amenities, which made our stay very convenient. A nice touch was being asked if I wanted coffee creamer, which they promptly provided.

The only minor suggestion for future guests would be to message the motel before check-in to remind them to set up the sofa bed if you plan on using it, as they forgot to do so for us. However, this small oversight certainly didn't detract from our overall positive experience. We would happily stay at King's Court Motel again!

Great location within walking distance from the main street, supermarket, fast food outlets and petrol station. A 5-10 minute walk to restaurants. The unit was clean, spacious and sunny and the bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bathroom didn't have a heated towel rail so towels didn't dry when hung up in the bathroom. Therefore fresh towels needed to be requested daily. The cost of installing a heated towel rail would be quickly recovered from the reduced laundering cost as daily towel changes would no longer be needed. It was surprising to have soap and shampoo provided in individual packaging as most accommodation providers use wall-mounted liquid dispensers to reduce packaging. Kitchen tongs need to be replaced as no longer working properly. A coffee plunger was provided but only instant coffee sachets were supplied so we had to buy coffee for the plunger.

Excellent location. The main road into the CBD only 50 meters away but as the motel is situated on a side road and set back from the street, it was extremely quiet. You could walk into the CBD if you wanted but it would take you maybe 1/2 hour or more. Great proximity to petrol stations and supermarkets.

Nothing, it served our purpose well. We had a 1 bedroom unit with a single bed in the lounge which worked for us - 2 friends.

Good location, walking distance to city attractions, restaurants, clean, updated room with kitchenette, parking outside the room. New World supermarket about 10 minutes walk away, fish & chips next door, Hell Pizza across the street is very good.

If you have windows open, you'll get the smell of fish & chips from next door in the late afternoon. Nothing against the motel, just remember to close windows before you go out, if that worries you.

The motel is located on a quiet side street but has a grocery store, gas station etc. nearby. The receptionist was very friendly, parking was available right in front of the room. It was well kept and maintained inside and outside. Milk for tea was offered too. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. It wasn't as spacious as some of the others we had but still an appropriate size.

Again, I can't really come up with anything that would make me not want to stay there again. There was outside seating in front of the room between the window and the parking spot but it was a bit cramped, and sitting boxed in right next to the car was not very appealing. Not a big flaw, and the only thing I can come up with that I didn't particularly like.

The property is in excellent condition and the room was spacious. We can confirm all the other reviews that say the bed is very comfortable :-). The area is very quiet and yet within walking distance from the main street, where one can find decent restaurants and a couple of nice coffee shops (the mischief café is highly recommended). Best of all, the couple managing the motel are extremely friendly and helpful, and we had a couple of very pleasant chats with them. Thank you for making our stay all the more pleasurable!

Nothing not to like

The staff were very friendly and helpful, Perfectly sized room for this stay, with everything we needed to be comfortable.

The water pressure in the shower was a little low. Also (and this seems to be the same for every place we stay), it would be great to have extra hooks or rails in the bathroom to hang our towels to dry for the next day.

Excellent location and spotlessly clean. But for the internet connection, superb in every respect.

Ours was the unit furthest from reception and the internet connection was patchy, but when it lapsed it could always be restored by taking the computer a few steps closer to the office. So the problem seems to be one for Unit 9 alone. At many times, especially at night, it was simplest to use our iphones as a hotspot.

This is literally the cleanest motel I have ever stayed in - and I travel the world. It was clean, comfortable and perfectly maintained. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, the linens were excellent and the amenities were perfect for an overnight stay. Parking is right outside your door. Quiet and peaceful night’s sleep.

I did not realize there was no air-conditioning. The weather was perfect with the windows open but I am not sure how comfortable it would be in summer heat.

What a fabulous place! Absolutely spotless, and I am very fussy about cleanliness. Beautiful furnishings and decor. Well equipped kitchen (if you felt like cooking) and excellent choice of teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Coffee pod macine as well as real coffee and a plunger, a coffeeholics dream! Loads of fluffy towels and really comfy bed and quality linen. Very short drive to the main street and excellent choice of nearby eateries.

Nothing, would like to have stayed longer.
