The location and facilities were perfect. The staff was exceptionally kind and efficient. Our son was sick on this trip and the staff did everything to help us in every way. When he was sick in the bed at 1 in the morning, a cleaning lady came up right away to change the sheets with a smile, for two nights in a row. We felt very welcome and that the staff cared very much about the quality of our stay and the well-being of our son. The breakfast was delicious, the shuttle to the private beach was quick and easy. The private beach was calm and had a great little restaurant. Being located inside the beautiful mall was also very practical. We just had to take an escalator and had access to everything we needed. The best of both worlds-- beach, restaurants and shopping. Thank you so much to all the staff for your care and incredible hospitality.

Galeria Plaza Veracruz hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort, ambience, amenities, and service. Hotel is constructed as a beautiful atrium space. I had a Deluxe King Suite (they honored my request for high floor, quiet corner of hotel) that was large, comfortable, and very nicely equipped with Netflix, Prime Video, cable TV, refrigerator, rainfall shower, complimentary toiletries, safe, ironing board, hair dryer, and ample closet space. The fitness center and pool were absolute gems! The included daily breakfast was awesome--lots of choices and everything fresh, including juices and made to order omelets and delicious pastries. Finally, the hotel is located inside an upscale mall (and across the street from another high-end mall)--remember those? Lots of shopping venues, cafes, restaurants and fast food choices plus two separate cinema houses surrounding Galeria property. Lots of people enjoying themselves shopping, eating or just hanging out.

Throughout my stay (4 nights) at the Galeria Plaza Veracruz, one of the escalators and one elevator was out of service. It was a minor inconvenience but having to walk up a long flight of stairs to enter the hotel (instead of using out-of-service escalator) detracted from my experience. Also, although I'm comfortable speaking basic Spanish, I found it odd that at this well-known hotel chain, nearly all of the reception and restaurant staff spoke almost no English. Regardless, the hotel staff were very professional and friendly.

The location is superb, the room was awesome with lots of space, clean, great products and the service was great.

Due to their renovation works sometimes you could hear a bit of noise (which is totally normal).

Location is not on the beach but transportation is very convenient! And cannot beat being inside a very nice shopping mall. Several options to eat inside the hotel and at the mall. Staff, my favorite part! Everybody is so kind! Already planning to go back next year.

Really cannot think about anything. Maybe have the bar closing later at night on Saturdays?

It's was overall good little pricey, needs a little more maintenance on pools,when we got there the one room had unpleasant smell

The property was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The accommodations were quiet and very comfortable. The location is excellent, in the middle of the mall, but you would never know it. The ride to the private beach was about five minutes and easily walkable. The pool, restaurant area, and beach were all beautiful.

there is a great bar with ample seating, but it was very air-conditioned and too cold. There were only two tables outside on the terrace, but I’m sure they would’ve brought more had we asked.

- it needs more hooks in the bathroom doors - it needs more drawers and closet areas. - it needs more shelves - Food needs more love and flavor - Service is BAD ... a tin of ice took an hour and 3 calls! - salt or milk or others took 1 hour or never got in the room and food was cold already. - more plastic bags are needed in the room. for dirty clothes. - lights went off and an alarm turned on for like 20minutes! it was horrible! - need light- energy resource.for faster light in the rooms. - PLEASE! No music or construction work BEFORE 1 pm!!! ... Mexican , marimba music is beautiful but after 1pm! clients want to sleep ! rest ! hope all this helps

The breakfast was amazing!! Loved everything about it. Great food. Great service. Located in mall and across the street from another mall. Walking distance to Mambo Beach.

We have to mention that the beds were really comfortable. We rest very well. The beach club is nice and there is transportation from the hotel to the beach club, however we used our car but this is very convenient if you are not traveling with your car. Also location if very good in the Plaza las Americas you have options for shopping and food. Even movie theater.

There was one elevator out of service during the days we stayed so it was taking long time to go up or down with many other guests also using the only one elevator that was working.

It was very clean and had all the amenities.

The food wasn't good. We ordered the nachos and they were bad. The drinks were too sweet.
