I loved the inside of the rooms how they were decorated so beautifully boutique style . We also liked their prices for their lunchinest the food was delicious and you are served decent size portions . Cheaper then two for McDonald's. Their ice cream parlor was wonderful I had homemade butter pecan ice cream my man had a root beer float even the straw And glasses and dishes for the ice cream were from that era. I loved the staff were all friendly. They even put a HONOR SYSTEM money box to pay for the can sodas or chips. NOBODY goes by the honor system now says. I do want to also say this was one of the Best at being the cleanest and clutter free hotel we have ever stayed I am a very thural cleaner so I check most things others don't but let me tell you there was not even a spiderweb in any of the rooms. Smelled great. Loved the Deco I found out the owners decorated the rooms she has excellent taste it reminded me of my home because the hotel was SO CLEAN AND SANITARY. I WILL BE TELLING OTHERS. THANK YOU marble hill for a experience I will not get anywhere else. l

We didn't like the higher prices at the ice cream parlor I mean $14 for a banana split I don't even make that much per hour at my job.

This is the cutest little hotel! It’s like something out of a hallmark movie. It’s SO clean. They have the neatest gift shop and their restaurant had a great breakfast. They accommodated us and our golden doodle McDuffie. We had family camping 20 miles away at the river so we spent our day on the water. We will definitely return. The staff and owner was so friendly. Fresh baked cookies, coffee, and fruit was free for snacking. The room had all the necessities, even mints on the nightstand. 5 stars

It was a cute place and very clean. The price was reasonable.

This is no fault of the place, but it was uncomfortable for me... but I had surgery on Sunday morning and made a 3 hour trip for a funeral the next day. We never saw the staff. The paperwork with my personal information printed on it was sitting on the counter with the room key. When we were ready to check out, we just dropped the key in a dish. I work at a bank and would be fired if I left someone's name and address sitting on my desk unattended...so I wasn't happy about that.

I stayed three nights over Labor Day weekend. This hotel and mercantile is a hidden gem! Check-in begins at 3pm. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The owners and family running the business are fantastic and genuinely asked if I was enjoying my stay. I felt like part of the family before I left!. I went to their soda shop and luncheonette in the mercantile with a good friend and her three children late on Sunday before they closed. We had an amazing lunch and ice cream afterward and did a little shopping in the mercantile. We were served ice cream by Mr. Everett Reed, the fantastic owner. I can't say enough great things about this business. They've taken older antique items and have successfully mixed it with a "new feel." Highly, highly recommend!! This is a family run business, so the hours of the mercantile and soda shop are from 6:30am - 2pm daily. Don't miss out visiting if you're near Marble Hill, MO.

The hours for the mercantile and soda shop from 6:30 am to 2 pm were a little bit of a challenge for us. But, it's understandable being located in a small community. On Friday, when I was checking in, I saw quite a few people try opening the "locked" door at the mercantile between 2:45 pm - 3:00 pm. I fear they may be losing some business, and we need more places like this!!

I liked it all. From the moment I booked I spoke with Kristy and she was wonderful until the minute I checked out. Cute little morning breakfast nook in the hotel. Beautiful gift shop and the best homemade cherry coke I've ever had! Never heard of this town before this stay but we will definitely take a ride back and stay again. Also Wooplwill Lake (5 miles from the mercantile) Is a FUN lake for all ages. 💗✝️

The location was perfect for where I was travelling that day. Very quiet small town and I enjoyed exploring the area on foot. The Hotel is a repurposed older building that has been extensively updated and it was very tastefully decorated by the owners. I had not expected to find a spot so beautifully done when I booked this. I loved the small town atmosphere also!

Small boutique hotel with updated rooms. Welcoming staff. Comfortable room. Good shower (non-slip tub with good water pressure and shower head). Lots of lighting which made it good for reading. Comfy bed. Good coffee. Muffins provided in the morning. Good restaurants nearby. Ice machine was available. Good parking. Quiet location.

The toilet seat was loose. Room was on the small side with small TV. Limited number of towels. Fridge had a very small freezer for freezer pack storage. No closet but hooks were provided. The door to the room wasn't a tight fit and with the hallway lights left on for the entire night, there was a lot of light flowing into the room.

Very responsive staff, especially the owner. Christy took care of everything we asked about. We ate breakfast 2 times and both meals were excellent in quality, fair price, and good service.

The strike plate on the door to our room made it almost impossible to lock the door. We reported it to the manager and they made a note to get it repaired.

The hotel and all of its properties were very well maintained and decorated. Such a quaint sweet country place to visit. The owners and staff were very friendly and welcoming. They are rightfully proud of their work and were happy to discuss the journey they took to put together this little jewel. The room was clean. The bed was nice and comfy.

Great place to stay. Room was very nice and clean throughout. Bed was very comfortable, and a nice hot shower (my personal favorite). I highly recommend staying there for work and/or pleasure.

Nothing, excellent place to stay.
