Best choice for a short stay between flights. 10 minutes drive from Istanbul airport. The area of the hotel is magnificent, next to the forest. The air is filled with pine scents. We had a fantastic dinner. The menu is a mixture of Turkish and European cuisine. The dishes were very tasty. Fresh juices are available. The service in the restaurant was excellent, thank you Hamza. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I didn't remember the name of the receptionist, who is from Turkmenistan, at check in and Jemal and Yunus at check out. Thank you.

Bedding! Definitely need to upgrade the bed linen! To a higher standard! It is very rough and maybe not even natural cotton. It was difficult to sleep on! Not suitable for Türkiye and Turkish quality textiles! It would be nice to diversify the choice of food at breakfast for children.

Our flight was cancelled and we had to find something close to the aeroport to spend a short night. I am glad we chose Menalo hotel. The place was clean and the staff very friendly and smiling. We were brought to our room in a golf cart by a very pleasant young man. The food in the restaurant was excellent. Go for the burger or meatballs. The rest is overpriced. More than twice the amount for these dishes. I don’t know why. Probably someone who was making a menu was not very aware of the prices of the same things in the rest of the world. Yes, there is no alcohol as the some of the reviews mentioned but that didn’t really bother us. Neither did a reason for it. I don’t know what people mean when they talk about marriage certificates. I was with my husband but the reception had no way of knowing it. We have different surnames and even different nationalities, and no one asked us for anything. Yes, the place is in the middle of nowhere with no stores or anything around and yes, the road is not paved, but we were not charged anything extra by a taxi driver on the way there or back. In short, it was excellent for the purpose we stayed there. If you are going to visit Istanbul, it is far from the city but to spend a night waiting for your flight, it is great.

Hotel is located in a peaceful and quiet area with rooms located in clusters. Beautifully maintained gardens. Meal portions (at dinner) are large.

Appeared completely isolated. Nothing was nearby. Taxi ride to the city took 1 hour+ and cost a pretty penny. Breakfast which we had to pay for, was exactly the same 2 days in a row. I felt like staff were not helpful to guests for e.g. u have to book ur own taxi or long-distance transport, etc. I guess they were understaffed because service was also slow and when we ran out of toilet paper none was provided despite asking. We had to bring our own luggage at check-out as no one came even after calling.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was so clean and spacious. All of the facilities were very modern and high quality. I was very happy with the huge walk-in shower.

I recommend booking a transfer/shuttle to and from the airport through the hotel, which we did for our return to the airport. When we took an orange airport taxi, (even though it’s his job to take us wherever we want to go), he was upset that it wasn’t a large fare as we weren’t going into Istanbul and he even told us to use the hotel shuttle in future! This is not the hotel’s fault, of course, but just be wary of the area’s potentially moody taxi drivers!

I chose this hotel as it is very close to IST airport, pretty and decently priced . I arrived from Cappadocia late and had a very early flight the same day . Staying IN the airport was super expensive in comparison and This hotel offered transportation . It was a great choice as you don’t need to go far into Istanbul, but it is pretty and comfortable . The staff are very nice

THE TRANSPORTATION WAS PREPAID AND THEY CHARGED MY MOTHER AGAIN, EFFECTIVELY DOING A DOUBLE CHARGE. I THINK , OR WANT TO THINK THIS WAS A MISUNDERSTANDING THAT WILL BE RECTIFIED. WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW OTHERWISE THE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE WAS LATE, NEEDED TO GO TO THE AI

What made me disappointed is - price list of the hotel restaurant. Incredibly expensive - for example grilled salmon 42 euro , grilled chicken 21 euro , tomato soup 9 euro . Owner is aware of that it’s the nearest airport hotel to the Istanbul airport and nearest restaurant is 9 km far from the hotel. If you are typical airport hotel 1 day passenger - either u have to get ur lunch or dinner there or … this is not nice , it’s a kind of situation to get extra benefit from the guests , 42 euro grilled salmon !!!! It’s not Michelin star restaurant !!!! Dear owner pls be more customer friendly

Close to the airport, 3 times cheaper than the hotel at the airport. Clean room and nice yards.

Surroundings are not nice at all. Last 2 kilometers of the road towards the place were scary.

Very beautiful place! Staff was very friendly, helpful, polite, everyone spoke English really well! It helped at lot with all questions we had. Rooms are clean, the porter helped us with the luggage. Every worker was very very nice! It’s not our first time in Turkey and Istanbul, but we were surprised of the amazing level of the hospitality. It was perfect The food in a restaurant was very fresh and delicious

We requested a drive for a child who is 1 years old and it was confirmed. The crib was provided but it is rather for the small baby than for a 1 year old toddler. The property managers just need to understand the difference between the type of the cribs in accordance with the age of a child because for 1 year old it’s dangerous to sleep in the crib they provided.

This hotel is located 10 minutes from the Istanbul airport in a sort of a small village. Not much to do in the area, but that's fine. The hotel is like a small resort, with 4 or 5 seperate buidings. To start with, the staff is very friendly and kind! The room was spacious with a nice view on the garden. The bathroom was good and all you need was availible. The bed was comfy and I slept well. Rooms are quiet and you don't hear any planes etc. The diner was also good and well presented. Prices are a bit high (and in Euro's) but the food was good. Breakfast was also good and more than enough. In this hotel alcohol is not being sold, which I personally appreciate. No drunk people and good example for our childeren. To be honest, if you are traveling and need some rest before you flight, it's the place to be.

The restaurant was over priced and didn’t have many authentic offerings. There isn’t many other options in the area for dining.
