Great location with very easy access to metro and buses for a short ride to tourist sites. Local area and parks very nice to walk around with plenty cafés / bars etc. Hotel clean and comfortable. Staff were professional and friendly, and gave us some good recommendations for places to eat. The little games room was a plus for our kids and we liked our little balcony in the room. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in Paris.

Shower was fine and plenty hot water but it was a bit small/awkward to shower in. We had two rooms and the other one had a bigger shower so probably depends on room. Not a big complaint.

The location was excellent - it was a 2 minute walk to the Rome Metro. The hotel was close to bistros, cafes and restaurants. There was a small supermarket close by and a very good fruit shop. On Saturdays, there's a fabulous food market across the main road. There was coffee and tea making facilities and a small fridge. Windows could be opened to let in fresh air. A/C was available and free WiFi. We were in the 6th floor but a lift was available.

The bathroom was small - a step in bath tub for the shower. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, which was available, because there were quite a few very good patisseries close by.

We had a room on the top floor, it is a bit dated and some minor TLC could be done but it's an old building, and buildings this old always need a little TLC. What I find is that this is part of the charm of staying in a local Parisian hotel, not an international brand. The location is in a highly residential part of Paris, nearly as non-touristy as you can get in Paris. A 2-minute walk from the Rome M4 Line and a 20-minute walk to the Gare St. Lazare. You get to experience a truly authentic Parisian neighborhood here, and yet major attractions like the Moulin Rouge are a short walk away. I have stayed at many of these types of hotels in Paris over the years, this one will go down as one of my favorites.

As I said, it's an old building, some of the facilities are not in 100% repair, but everything works. The carpet is old and there was some peeling paint on the ceiling. Nothing really affected my stay, simply cosmetic issues.

We booked a family room for 5 and received 2 adjoining rooms which were secured by an additional external door. It was an excellent layout.

Great location close to the Rome Metro allowing us to access everywhere we needed. There are lots of bakeries, shops and restaurants within walking distance as well.

Hotel berne was really nice. We stayed 3 people, when we first entered we were greeted very warm and friendly, the hotel was clean and cosy. It is very close to the metro, right in front of it, there is also a market nearby. It met our expectations. Thank you very much for everything hotel berne opera:)))) hope we will come again

Staff was extremely nice and friendly ! Location was right next to a metro but still no hustle and bustle of city. Quiet peaceful and beautiful area ! Loved it! The AC was working perfectly especially for the hot summers! They let us keep our bags in storage before and after checkout ! Overall will def come again!

The toilet needs renovation! And the room did not have a nice view. But considering other French hotels this was way better!

On arrival I was upgraded from my single room, which was a happy circumstance. It was warm and bright. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were all most friendly and helpful. The hotel is at the border of the Europe/Batignolles district which is between two tourist hotspots, so it has a local rather than commercial atmosphere. A short walk from St Lazare station. Useful fridge, Carrefour city round the corner.

A tiny thing: maybe teabags could have been replaced once consumed.

The location was perfect right next to Rome Metro. The room was comfortable, quiet area. Moulin Rouge is 12 to 15 minutes walk. Montmartre and Basilica du Sacré Coeur is close by too. I would definitely consider coming over.
