It was a pleasure staying at this property, which is 5min.walking from Boulangerie,grocery store,cafes,shops;10min.from Gare Saint Lazare;15min from Opera Garnier,20min from Monmartre. The location is great for touristic Paris. New Orient Hotel is a nice hotel with excellent food , service and, of course, beloved cozy French atmosphere. The room was very spacious, clean and had amenities we needed.It was enough space for 3people in 1room/twin beds were normal size. There is an ability to store your luggage before check in and after check out. We are appreciated for providing assistance to attentive lovely staff, especially Catherine💌,who helped with anything with perfect English, so there were no miscommunication issues,if the guests don’t speak French. Being Travel agent for 22years ,I have stayed in many Parisienne hotels different stars and location and would definitely recommend this perfect place for friends,relatives,tourists and colleagues.

The rooms are clean and well furnished, and the bed is very comfortable. Lovely little balcony, and a modest shower room that fits a room of this size. Staff were friendly and helpful, and happy to make suggestions for dinner, etc. The area is a bit quieter than the very touristy spots, but still plenty of eateries, places to pick up groceries (a supermarket across the road), etc. Nearby, Parc Monceau is gorgeous and Musee Jacqumart-Andre well worth a visit.

The shower takes a little getting used to. It is intended to be hand-held, I think. I managed to balance it in a way that pointed to suit, and it was fine. Good pressue, temperature, etc. It might bother some, but to me it's just a little quirk of a charming hotel.

1) Late one night (ca. 1AM) the guest in the next-door room decided to use the bathroom hairdryer which is extremely noisy. I called reception and they addressed the issue promptly by asking the other guest to stop. 2) The check-out receptionist was rather cold and not very friendly (he didn't even ask how my stay was, considering I stayed nearly a week and we were 2 employees from my firm). However, the receptionist couldn't have been nicer to the next guest checking out. Double standards...

No kettle in my room but I just asked the reception & got one very easily!

Overall, a wonderful experience. Paris is expensive, so with that in mind, I rated this hotel as excellent. It is centrally located, with metro/train stations, restaurants, shops and even a laundromat nearby. The staff was magnificent; they were very helpful and polite and made us feel very welcomed. The hotel is clean, with the rooms a bit on the small side (including the bathrooms), but this did not detract from our comfort and overall satisfaction with our stay. Breakfast was good, I would like to have fruit included in the meal, but there are mini marts across the street for buying oranges, apples, etc. I really enjoyed our three night stay here and would not hesitate to stay there again and/or highly recommend it to friends and family.

This is one of my favourite hotels. Very beautiful, charming building & lovely rooms furnished with some restored antique furniture. You really feel that you are getting an authentic Paris experience. There are so many lovely brasseries, bistros, boulangeries, patisseries within a few hundred metres, which aren't aimed at tourists. I would also recommend the breakfast. It's simple but perfect- fresh croissants & bread, with plenty of fruit, yoghurt, cheese & good coffee. (We woke up to the lovely smell of fresh croissants.) This area is great for music lovers. The nearby Rue de Rome has many music shops & instrument makers, which is lovely to see. The staff could not have been nicer. Perfectly clean room with comfy beds.

A magnificent hotel, a classic building, a very well handeled interior, in a superb quiet area, adjacent to public transportation stations (buses, metro and train), and close to some major Parisian spots by foot. A very helpful and warm staff (thank you so much for everything, Monsieur Azoulai!). Shiny clean room, very nice private bath and rest room, and a picturesque french balcony in which we liked sitting and at which we loved watching.

We loved absolutely everything!

We loved this beautiful traditional French Hotel. Set on a quiet street of grand buildings we loved the atmosphere. Yes the stairs are narrow and quirky and the lift is tiny but in a way that adds to the charm. We had a balcony room which was a definite bonus and we wouldn't have been without the aircon in the heat touching 40°. The best thing about this hotel are it's staff who are friendly, welcoming and helpful. Thank you to you all.

This is a fantastic hotel and it meets all my requirements! Cozy and french! Great location with 5 mins walk to bus station and metro station, also walking distance to some famous attractions, especially idea if you wanna take a walk after sunset and slowly feel the beauty of the city! Also many good restaurants in the nearby. And very friendly staff, just feel back home! Highly recommend!
