Swiming pool wasn’t working. They demanded USD 100 as a deposit after paying the full hotel amount in advance. Is Hong Kong a low trust county ? I don’t know but every time they were providing any service like in room dining they were asking money to be paid. I don’t if this has anything to do with my nationality or some other reason but it was ridiculous. I reached there early morning. Most 5 star or 4 star hotels charge 50% of amount to accomodate early check in (8-12 hours) but they wanted full amount for entire night. They kind of made my experience with “Hong Kong” as entire country real bad. Even on the day of checkout they appeared very cold. I have traveled many countries and stayed in numerous hotels but it was the weirdest experience of all.

The green surroundings, the birds, proximity of a lovely beach, nice pool and water playground area, good buffet, pleasant playground and waterfront/garden walking paths, nice outdoor seating meal areas, comfortable beds, staff was busy but did their best. I also loved having the gold coast plaza nearby with a supermarket and different dining options.

No beer in room service. The minigolf and bowling were disappointing, they are on a corner in a cemented floor, they should be moved to a proper area in the lawn. They shouldn't charge for using the indoor playground. The elevator and access to the LG area is a bit narrow and confusing. Coffee pop up bar was closed, as were other restaurants and facilities. Room bathroom has a bit of mold in the marble walls.

We like the stay in this hotel, we reached at night to hotel because of our flight, the reception staff on duty was not too friendly, was difficult to understand each other, and she can't explain properly, we paid for breakfast cash, she has not mentioned in the chick in records and in the system and not given receipt as a prove, she told us it's in the system no need to have the receipt when we go for breakfast they will know, but they said it's not paid and in the check out they asked us to pay, they checked in the cctv to belive us, we have trust them as a big resort and they thought we are lying we told the staff Samantha we don't feel good of this behavior, and they take deposit to keep till checkout, hold our credit card should release when check out USD 250 as they told us in the check in time, but we have surprised that well take 3 weeks to return in our account, now in this advanced technology system all bank transactions is done by online and telephone they've same old fashioned procedures, they should explain during the check in properly to the guest, we thank Samantha for her kindness and being polite to us during the check out, still waiting our money to be release, they promised to be released in maximum 3 days but now 12 days not released, we enjoyed the stay but only these reasons we've been upset during the check out, all other staffs are nice and helpful

Holding the deposit amount for too long, not recording we paid for breakfast, during the check in the staff was little rude and difficult to understand

Vivian who checked us in was very pleasant and gave us a free room upgrade! It was a perfect size for us as a couple. A suite with a super comfortable bed!

No water already prepared in the room, I get the whole environment thing but when you check in sometimes you’d just like a really cold glass of water in the fridge or already in the room. Also, to say it is a 5 star hotel, they didn’t have a lot of extra things, like a face cloth/flannels in the bathroom. No extra kits like vanity, shower cap or anything like that. Just a toothbrush set which I thought was odd as I had stayed in much cheaper hotels that provided a lot more. Nevertheless it was a really nice stay, I’m just being nit-picky

The staff at the reception were very welcoming and attentive. The room was clean, The bed was very comfortable and the fact that we had a shower separate from the bathtub was great. The grounds are manicured and look beautiful and the pool is nice too.

The bathrooms were showing their age. They had a lot of mold on the ceiling and around certain areas. The drain did not drain very well. And we didn’t have any washcloths in the bathroom. We have stayed at the hotel several times. At no point when we ate in the downstairs restaurant close to the bar, did they offer us a vegetarian menu. Had we known, we would’ve eaten there more often.

Rooms are big and spacious. Swimming pool is great - kids spent the entire stay in there. Staff were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. This is a perfect staycation for anyone living in HK. We definitely felt like we were on a holiday away from home!

Beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable.

The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view. Upon arriving in the middle of the night after experiencing flight delays, we were greeted by friendly staff with a room upgrade. I only wish we could have stayed longer than our overnight transit, as there was so much within the hotel we wanted to explore but just didn't have time. So many children's activities, as well as places to relax or get some work done. The breakfast was excellent. We will be back again next time we're in Hong Kong.

Very clean and very beautiful scene. Most of the staff were very nice. But I wish the staff would tell us more shopping and dining places close to the hotel so that it could be more convenient for us. Actually all shopping and dining places are behind the hotel which is 10 minutes away from the hotel by walking. We found out about it at the last day there.

The staff at the front desk was not helpful enough and some of them were not nice.

Perfect location for my trip - only across the road from where we were working. Breakfast was good and hotel staff all seemed friendly. View from the balcony was nice.

The property was nice, however, could do with an update. Was clean enough but could have been cleaner!

Everything was great! Room was good, breakfast was good, the area was good. Short walk to the plaza for food and grocery, easy access to the beaches, and near to Tung Chung, Airport, Lantau Island.

They removed the shuttle bus service to Tuen Mun MTR, but it was still easy to take a public bus over.
