The property is brand new, very friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere. The rooms are small but beautiful, easy, free wifi, they had bikes to pick up, the location is fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent. Minimal breakfast but there are more extensive and interesting options all around the property (e.g., we went to OEB one day and to Poached Breakfast Bistro another).

We were stuck in the elevator for 30 minutes, the hotel outsourced the operation of their elevators and could not open the doors, so they had to call a technician who opened them remotely. The in-elevator "help" line goes to a switchboard and reception was so bad we could not hear each other. All harmless in the end, and we got reimbursed for parking and 1 night charge for this, but it was kind of weird and could have been scary for someone more claustrophobic. The rooms are very nice, but there was nowhere to unpack your suitcase other than a few hangers. Strange since there were wall cabinets but they were glued closed. I've seen this weird design in other newer hotels, but don't like living out of my suitcase in a hotel.

Room is clean, and they were generous enough to let me check in early. Beautiful view of the bridge, booking the room with a view is worth it. And the makeup remover packet in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch! I appreciate that so much as a girl. Only issue I experienced is I had a hard time finding the parking entry of the building, I had to circle around three times to figure it out as there were no signs or any indications of a parking entrance. But other than that, it was a great stay. 👍🏻

I love the Alt. I've stayed at several downtown hotels in Saskatoon and this is the keeper. It's a good value, ideal for business travellers. The place is clean, modern and centrally located. I really didn't have an issue during my stay. The meals I had in the onsite restaurant (Bokeh) were better than expected.

The forced air heating system is really loud — even with ear plugs. I checked and another guest on the floor had the same issue. Another downside depending on what you want is that there's no onsite coffee shop/cafe or room service. You just have to work around that.

I probably had one of the BEST hotel experiences of my life. Everything was perfect. I even took pictures of the room I was in so one day I can renovate my house to have it be just like it! It was great. I liked the full and partial blinds on the windows so I could enjoy the sunset but have privacy.

I wish there was a complimentary breakfast option or voucher from the breakfast place across the plaza - maybe there is a partnership there between ALT and that place. This is picky but the Kombucha available in the convenience area was so expensive!! I drink it and that was the most expensive I've ever seen. It was delicious however.

I liked how the location was on the promenade. The rooms, though small, were ideal for two people, and they made efficient use of the space. In some ways, it was more comfortable than more spacious hotels. The hotel's charcuterie restaurant was also wonderful, and to top it off, we had a beautiful view of the sun coming down over the river.

Some confusion arose over where to park, as their primary parkade was full, but the staff immediately handled it by directing guests to a parkade tower adjacent. This wasn't an issue, and I appreciated the prompt service.

I have no criticisms about my stay at this hotel, even constructive ones. It had everything I needed for a positive experience. The room, though small, was thoughtfully set up. The temperature in the room was just right, and the bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in. The water pressure in the shower was good, the view (though not technically a room with a view), was very nice and, importantly, I had an undisturbed sleep (very quiet). The location was excellent, and all the staff I encountered were friendly and accommodating.

The hotel and the room lacked character. But that's just a personal preference, I prefer historic buildings over modern ones.

The location is perfect for what we were doing in Saskatoon. Being close the riverbank, walking trails, etc. was very convenient. The views are amazing and the rooms comfotable.

The parking situation is awful and I was surprised that we did not automatically have a spot in the hotel's parkade when we are a guest. I had to park in the lot under the freeway a bit of a walk away which I was not excited about getting back to the hotel after our evening plans close to 10 pm. It did not feel safe and I was nervous about my vehicle being left there overnight.

We chose this hotel for the downtown location. Breakfast could have been provided for the price or even possibly a parking pass. Restaurants for supper and breakfast were within walking distance and the room was clean and quiet.

Parking could be easier to access. As well as signage for the front entrance of the hotel as it was a bit confusing. We ended up parking in the Nutrien building for parking as we had a difficult time finding the parking garage for the hotel.

I liked how the hotel was very clean and organized. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms looked amazing. The pricing of the king size room we stayed in looked way more expensive than we actually paid for the room. It was lovely!

What I didn’t like about the rooms is that you have two key cards and you have to put one in the slot right by the door to have power. It was my first time staying at this hotel and it was confusing trying to figure out how to turn the lights on after turning on all the switches.

The room was very nice, modern and bed was so comfy! I also love the floor to ceiling windows and the black out blinds!

parking was always full and if you are staying at the hotel it should be free as this is a very busy downtown area and the meters are hard to come by. Maybe mention the height restrictions as we saw a pickup truck have to back out as he couldn't fit. This is Western Canada and we all have pickups!
