We had a balcony room on the garden side. The room is not big, but very confortable. All the spaces are very quiet. We appreciated to be next to the thermal lake, what is the first and only reason to come here (access to the lake included in the price of the room).

Dinner and breakfast (compulsory half board) are not at all of a four stars level. This make the whole price a little expensive for what you get.

The smell of the thermal spa under the building was very unpleasant. A pump type noise- quite loud- ran every 10 or 15 minutes day and into the night. It was right outside our room.

Nice hotel, very close to lake. 2 min. At hotel you can find basic spa as well. Personal very helpful, but sometimes old fashioned. Dinner wasn’t good, but breakfast was quite ok. This is great place to relax and enjoy warm Hévíz lake. Good for older people.

The breakfast buffet was slightly messy (coffee machine leaking to the floor, cheese and salami in big chunks).

Perfect location 100m from entrance to the lake. Entrance included in the price of the room. Nice personnel, speaking also English.

Parking place not so easy to find, although it is announced that parking is available.

Cosy and relaxing atmosphere. In the end of my stay I feel stress free and content.

The location is excellent for the bathing holiday at the thermal lake, offering their guests free access to the lake! They have also bathrobes and swimming "noodles" for your convenience, can be taken from the reception. Hévíz has a very nice park with promenade full of flowers, a lot of restaurants etc. This hotel offers also paid parking.

The whole spa hotel is quite outdated, from the socialist times, uncomfortable bed, with bad pillows. Unfortunately, the cuisine is also the same as I was used in the schools and institutional canteens in socialist times. This was such a big disappointment for me! Hungarian cuisine is known for its quality and good taste. They should really change the cook!!! I saw good raw material used for cooking, but the result was neither good looking, nor extra tasty, no phantasy, no modern ideas. Such a pitty!!! Instead of the extremely big portions, they should invest into the quality of their preparation and serving. The morning coffee is terrible, too.

Single room bed is too small. Food selection could be better. Room was not cleaned on one of the days. Rooms are not sound proof. I had room with balcony facing the lake - there is a big spotlight illuminating the building & the curtains are not providing full coverage, so it's quite bright in the room during the night. The bed is positioned so, that the gap in curtains is right next to the head. Plus it's drafting quite a lot through the window.
