I had the finest 4 days at Les Jardines de Skoura! Rida and Mohammed took incredible care of me the whole time I was there. I chose Skoura because I always wanted to stay at a remote oasis area in a desert and this accommodation was a true dream for me. I got to lie out at the pool which is like a real oasis and is inside of a gorgeous garden! I stayed out at this pool day and night and in the heat of the day it made me feel like a princess. I would listen to my music and order the most delicious wine and they’d bring me spicy olives and salty mixed nuts. Can you tell I miss this life? It was the best life! You are in the most adorable kasbah right next to the legendary Kasbah Amridil. I loved hiking the fertile palmeraie on my way to that monument and back. In all of my 23 days in Morocco, that walk was the very best one. I felt like an explorer. You want to stay here. The furniture and decor is super cute and authentic and it makes you feel like you are in a movie. The food is so flavorful and adventurous that it guarantees that you’ll always try something new each night. I loved this place and I’ve been all over the whole world. This place is going in my Travel Hall of Fame. I think I’ll dream of it for the rest of my life. I want to add that the staff is so lovely here. They probably miss me too because I loved seeing them and always told them how much I cared about the place. The manager of this place was so sweet to me. When I told him how beautiful the place was to me, he said, “This place is beautiful because you are here in it.” THAT melts my heart and I can promise you it’ll do the same thing for you!

There is nothing to dislike!

This magnificent Kasbah is located in a majestic botanical garden adorned with roses, fig, lemon, almond, olive, and apricot trees. Our dinner and breakfast entrees were prepared from fresh ingredients in the garden. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was exemplary and the outdoor pool and patios were an oasis of peace and tranquility. We woke to the sounds of chirping and the smell of fresh flowers. We would highly recommend staying at this Kasbah if you crave relaxation and respite.

I wish that I had longer to stay! The view of the snow capped Atlas Mts. from the roof top patio were breathtaking. If I return to Morocco this Kasbah will be on the top of my list!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and servings are generous. The property is exceedingly beautiful, with tastefully decorated rooms, a large garden filled with spots to sit and relax, multiple beautiful terraces and a clear respect for traditional building styles and techniques. The most relaxing stay we've had in Morocco so far, set against the stunning backdrop of an arid landscape studded with palm and olive trees, with the snow-capped Atlas mountains looming in the distance.

If there is one, very minor, point we can make it is that the property doesn’t offer unlimited drinking water to guests, unlike most of the (often cheaper) other riads and hotels we've stayed at. A 1,5l bottle of mineral water is pretty cheap, but it feels generous when it's offered.

We travelled to Skoura in January which was low season but we had fabulous weather (albeit too cold to use the wonderful pool) and few tourists. I would highly recommend a stay here. The service was excellent, the vibe very relaxed and peaceful and food delightful. We arrived early evening but the staff helped us with bike hire early the next morning and we had a lovely time exploring the local Kasbah and oasis territory. The hotel is located in the middle of the oasis and is a short drive on dirt track roads to get here. This all adds to the charm of the peaceful and tranquil location.

Nothing

The property is delightful. There are lots of little nooks and crannies to sit and have coffee and relax. Should the weather be good. We were there when the weather was cool so we couldn’t make use of all the facilities. The staff were exceptionally friendly the meals were very good.

It was difficult to find the property. It didn’t help that we arrived in the dark. Travellers should be aware that you have to cross the river at some point and this was little alarming for us as we had a small car and not a four-wheel-drive. However, we really liked the location and had a lovely walk the next day.

A true sanctuary amongst the palmeraie. Peaceful and idyllic setting amongst beautiful gardens. Tastefully decorated with an amazing pool and surrounds. Eating breakfast and dinner under the olive trees was incredibly special. We recommend a slower paced stay (at least 2 nights if you can manage it!) so you can enjoy everything the accommodation offers. Only regret is that we did not stay for 2 nights!

Nothing! Worth noting the location is off the beaten track and you definitely need your own personal transport to reach the accommodation from Skoura proper.

The hotel and the garden are beautiful, such a lovely and peaceful place to stay. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, they helped arrange a taxi back to Ouzarzate. The dinner in the garden by candlelight was also spectacular, the food was delicious, the best I’ve had so far in Morocco. I would not hesitate to stay again.

That I didn’t stay longer - 2 nights was not enough!

Beautiful and tranquil, with lots of amenities and activities! Loved the pétanque court and the kids toys, and dinner and breakfast were delicious! Some of the best food we’ve had in Morocco! Staff were super kind and friendly too! Soo many beautiful spots to sit and relax under the olive trees and palm trees!!

It’s a little bit of a drive off the main road, but the location made it all the more peaceful!

This place is a true oasis! We arrived in our own rental car and followed the marked signs to reach the hotel. It's out there!!! Roads are not paved so plan accordingly. As soon as we entered the property, any stress we had melted away. The grounds are gorgeous and they had upgraded us to a suite with a private stargazing terrace. WOW!!! Dinner outside was a fabulous experience. The food was excellent and wine was available to order. The atmosphere is stunning with white lights and lanterns making it glow at night. There are plenty of places to relax around the property - the pool, various conversation areas, terraces, hammocks, and more. Even if lots of people are staying, you can spread out for privacy. If staying only one night like we did (wish it could have been longer), I recommend arriving close to check-in time so you can fully enjoy the property. We arrived around 7pm and would have enjoyed more time.

Wish we could have stayed another night!

Gardens are superb, situation in the oasis nice, though we expected even greener surroundings outside of the hotel. The room was very nice, though a bit dark and had nice terrace.

Staff was not very welcoming (also no welcome tea) and quite distanced (to what we had experienced before). Food and drinks were overpriced, but given the location the easiest choice. Quality of food was good, though.
