The staff was outstanding. Khalid is brilliant manager. He was by far the most helpful person we met during our trip. He found solutions to our trip and looked after us incredibly well at the hotel. The gardens are beautiful, extremely calming. The food, while a little expensive, it is the best I have had in a long time, totally worth it. The interior design, specially of the ground floor is outstanding. We would love to come back.

The shower was a little tricky, a bit drippy and not the best temperature control, But, we found this across many other hotels during our time in Morocco

We had a very pleasant stay at this family run Kasbah. Run by a family with both European and local roots, it creates the perfect blend of Western and African influences. The food is very good, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. If you're coming this way, I would definitely recommend it to stay at this Kasbah

It can be a bit of a challenge to find the Kasbah, so some signs around the village could be helpful

Absolutely 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This place was like an oasis in the desert — a peaceful, welcoming haven after long days of traveling and arriving from a desert experience with 46 degrees. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available for anything I needed. Whether it was a late-night question, a local recommendation, or just a warm smile, they were there with genuine hospitality that made me feel right at home. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, but it was really the people here that made the experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a place to rest, recharge, and feel completely taken care of, this is it. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Kasbah des Cypres was idyllic, nestled in a peaceful and lovely corner of the Skoura palm grove, we felt very relaxed and well cared for from the moment we arrived. Jihad and his friendly team went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we wanted and to arrange transport where needed. The room was simply furnished but had a very comfortable, extra-large bed and efficient power shower. All our meals were good quality and it was lovely sitting under the orange blossom for breakfast. The pool was also very pleasant and not over-chlorinated, great for a refreshing dip or just to laze around, watching the birds coming to drink. We spent 3 nights there but could easily have enjoyed longer, with plenty of excursions, both in Skoura and further afield, on offer directly from the Kasbah. I very much hope to return, especially as it is quite easy to get there with direct flights to Ourzazate from UK. Highly recommended.

The hotel is really charming – a mix between a kasbah and a mansion. The gardens, fountain and the pool create a special atmosphere. Our room was a good size, around 25–30 square meters, which was perfect for two people. The design was minimalistic but warm and cozy. The building itself looks like a castle, which makes it quite unique and interesting. It was very quiet at night, so we had a good rest. We didn’t have trouble finding the hotel, but it’s a bit off the main road, so it takes some time to get there. Also, Google Maps might suggest going through a field, which is not the right way. The staff was friendly and attentive.

You can pay only in cash, which was not very convenient. We didn’t have much cash with us and spent everything we had on dinner. We also wanted to order some wine but couldn’t because card payments were not accepted. Breakfast was extremely basic – just some bread and pastries with jam and butter.

The Kasbah is a beautiful oasis in the Skoura palmeraie oasis, tastefully decorated and curated in every detail. It can be reached easily via car: though there are no directions on the road itself (which is understandable), Waze or Google maps provide perfect indications and the property sends you messages with directions - it's very difficult to miss. The kasbah is just out of a dream: cypresses surround the gardens and the pool, the sundbeds have soft sun-bathing mattresses, there's several pieces of Morrocan furnitures in all the spaces. They provide dinner with a fixed menu, which was very tasty and had a reasonable price, given they source everything organically and they have very high standards. The staff goes out of their way to quickly provide you with Morroccan tea and towels and they communicate in French and English and we had no problem at all with communication: special mention to Mohammed who would always try to anticipate your needs with a smile and a welcoming approach. We had a room on the last floor overlooking the pool and the palmeraie, which was a breathtaking view. The room had a cozy bed area, and another two rooms for the toilet and the bathroom, where hot water never lacked. There may be drafts coming from doors and windows, which are perfectly manageable with all the blankets provided in the room: these are minor inconveniences that can be expected given it's an old (despite perfectly renovated) building in the middle of Skoura. Highly recommend

We liked everything

This was our favourite stay in Morocco. Three nights in a very comfortable bed, a choice of two comfy pillows (a rarity!) in beautiful peaceful surroundings. The pool area is a great place for relaxing in either sun or shade found amongst the trees. Khalid couldn’t do enough to help us. No hesitation in recommending. Oh, and at c€25 for a delicious 3 course meal, what is not to like?

An exceptionally beautiful accommodation. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in. The Kashbah is beautifully decorated and the garden and pool are very well maintained. The service and all the people there, who are very friendly, deserve special mention. The food was really delicious and is highly recommended. We were here during our round trip through Morocco and would have liked to stay longer. Anyone looking for accommodation in the region should check out the Kasbah des Cyprès!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in Africa. All staff were extremely helpful, and what you see is what you get: splendid rooms, extremely well attended garden and an immaculate service. Truly a little oasis in the middle of the desert. The only bad thing: the UV was more than we could handle, but well. See you again next year for Marathon des Sables!

Outstanding! Cyprès is a beautiful hidden gem I was lucky to find. Lush gardens to stroll in filled with roses, palm trees, delicious and generous breakfast and exquisite meals. Waking up to the sound of birds in true confort. Loved the inner decor of the Kasbah too, many lounges to chill in, lamps, colourful cushions, scented candles, beautiful Art coffee table books, a cozy fire place at night during dinner...so many little details put together. Wonderful stay but most of all the service. Very kind and attentive staff. Just magical. I felt at home at Cyprès and can't wait to return again to this hidden paradise. Unforgettable place.
