This is our best stay experience in Spain. We highly recommend staying out of town. It's only 6 minutes by car to Arcos and about 12 to dine by the water's edge. Apart from being a stunning property and super comfortable, the best part is the owner will introduce you to unique local experiences and is so warm and generous you just don't want to leave. It's a great village with many interesting sites and people to meet. If you like horses just book here and double your visit. There is a riding school across the road accommodating to all levels from little children up.

Very clean and modern rooms with good amenities. Pool area clean and spacious. Plenty of space and seating areas with and without shade. Staff friendly and happy to help.

Need car for getting around but with this no problem. Note the pool is not private as advertised on room booking. It’s a communal pool for all rooms to share.

The rooms and the pool are brilliant, the whole property is gorgeous. Very clean and comfortable.

The properly doesn’t do breakfast so it would have been helpful to have a couple of bowls or plates and a bit of cutlery in the room, and maybe a corkscrew. But other than that it was perfect.

What a beautiful place! The rooms were very nice and spacious. We were there in the off season, so it was very quiet around the property. I can imagine it is very busy in the summer. I would have loved to swim in the beautiful swimming pool. The host/owner was very nice. He lives on the property connected to the apartments.

Beautiful hotel, clean, fabulous views, comfortable bed & good quality towels/bed linen. Very quiet & had lovely views from the terrace. Would have been nice to get a drink but no bars open in hotel.

The rooms were spotless, Every corner of the hotel felt clean and well-maintained. Pool area and garden was stunning and well-equipped/ organised.

It was bit overpriced by considering that it was not the season, no any bar/restaurant etc opened.

It’s a beautifull place close to Arcos which is a nice white village with nice views and restaurants. Great comfort, very clean pool and warm host. Absolutely worth the stay!

The property was truly stunning. The rooms were really comfortable and large and well equipt and were cleaned thoroughly everyday. The pool was lovely and very clean and right outside the rooms. There are only a few rooms which adds to the charm of the place and while we were there it was just us and our family and friends so it felt like having a private villa!! Kathy the owner was really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us, She gave us the number of a local taxi firm and it was easy to get taxis for trips into town for dinner and they were happy to pick us up whenever we called them even at 3 am from a wedding! We just had to call them when we were ready to come home! We were invited to help ourselves to lemons and oranges from the many fruit trees and especially the giant ruby grapefruits which we ate every morning for breakfast! So delicious! If you like animals, as we do, you will love it here. There are beatiful horses stabled a short distance from the main building and lots of beautiful friendly dogs. If you don't like them Kathy keeps them away so that they would not bother you. The hotel is also a popular venue for weddings and we saw the preparations for a large wedding on the morning that we checked out and it looked AMAZING!!

We loved it all ! Just be aware that there is no restaurant so you will need to self cater or eat out, but there are lots of lovely restaurants in the local town. We understand that in the high season Kathy runs a small bar and serves snacks and is happy to arrange a paella night or someing similar if there is a crowd of you. In a few years when the palm trees have matured a little around the pool to give more shade it will be even better!

We loved everything! This was the best hotel we have stayed at. The location is gorgeous, and the property and landscape are out of this world!! From manicured grounds, swimming pool, impeccable design of the whole property, comfortable bed and large modern bathroom (large shower too). I can't say enough. You have to see it to believe it. You will not regret staying there.

Absolutely NOTHING!

We liked everything about El Tesorillo, especially the quietness and the views. It was a bit early in the year to use the pool but the facilities around it looked superb
