The location of the Parador was fantastic, the views from our balcony were amazing. We had booked a half board plan, the evening menu didn't disappoint and the wine list was excellent. Breakfast was good, great selection of hot & cold food. The staff were outstanding, very friendly & welcoming

For 2 days & nights an international cycling tour descended , the central patio became a cycle park & repair shop! The whole group made such a racket over dinner in the Restaurant we asked if we could eat somewhere quieter on the second evening, the staff were fantastic and set up a table in the bar area. This Parador was not suitable for this sort of group, they perhaps should of booked the Cadiz Parador with conference facilities?

Right in the heart of the historic quarter, next door to the Basilica. It was lovely to hear the chime of the bells. Being high up, the views were great. And it was right around the corner from the Cloistered Convent where we got some delicious baked goodies. The decor is lovely, dinner was good at the restaurant.

The only thing was the hike up to the property from the carpark. Fortunately, we didn’t have much luggage to lug up. We were told that the hotel is not accessible by car which is not true. It is, and in fact the square was full of cars parked overnight (illegally?). Perhaps guests should be given the information and make the choice themselves: that cars can drive up to at least to drop off luggage and then proceed to the carpark in town or park in the square at their own risk.

Room and bed were extremely comfortable with a lovely quilt. Loved the tub in which you could totally stretch out and relax. The views were incredibly beautiful and I loved sitting in the Moorish courtyard reading with the sound of flowing water in the background. Enjoyed all the sitting rooms. This was a day of rest before flying home so being at the Parador was perfect.

Breakfast was delicious but dinner was disappointing.

The parador was just beautiful- very comfortable room. A lovely ambiance in the bar with a magnificent view. Breakfast was great.

I felt some of the staff were a bit aloof. Service was very poor at breakfast even though there was only a handful of guests in the dining room. I had to ask for coffee three times and the ratatouille we both ordered never arrived!! Given the problem with the coffee It wasn’t worth the hassle to ask for the ratatouille!!

Thank you so much for making my stay unforgettable! It was the most amazing stay! The staff is so very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing. I had room nr 9, which was just a dream. With the best views. I wish that I could have stayed longer. I went to the restaurant el mirador de isabel one evening and again it's highly recommended. Food and views. Thank you. Alexandra

The room was adequate, but without a view. The location of the Paradore was up a long steep, very narrow winding road with no parking at the Parador which meant dropping off the luggage. and parking some 15 minutes away. And then when leaving walking to get the car to return to the Parador for luggage.

The menu was disappointing with few choices and the dining room was very noisy.

I spent two nights in this property and experienced two bedrooms, both of them large, luminous and comfortable. The terrace included in the second one was as large as a room... Special mention for the pleasant staff, I am deeply grateful to Juana for help.

The breakfast, twenty-one euros, remains the disappointing point. A lot of useless offers and, in contrast, not enough vegetable or bread.

Fabulous hotel! Lovely room with the most amazing views!

Slightly spoiled by a very rude lady at breakfast who I assume is the dinning room manager… who accused us of rather loudly of not paying for breakfast! Other than that the staff were ‘ok’.. nothing to note really.

Lovely rooms in an historic building right in the old town of Arcos. Staff were super helpful. The views from the restaurant and the terrace are fantastic.

When we travelled there was major construction work going on in the square outside the hotel. Not at all the hotel's fault, of course, but it made parking more complicated than it would otherwise be and also caused a bit of noise. Once that's finished, I'm sure it'll all be back to normal and much quieter.

Anthony the bartender and Ana the waitress were beyond excellent. Best beds ever. Quiet. Fabulous view from terrace. Front desk got us cab from park king.

No one answered taxi services recommended so we had to call hotel for taxi.
