Old fashioned room which I like. Spacious, clean and simple. Great atmosphere of a traditional family run establishment. Beautiful colonnaded interior courtyard dining room. Extraordinary value lunch - 3 courses and a bottle of wine for 2 - 24 Euros - total.

It’s all a bit forlorn in places and has seen better days. Equipment aging in bathroom and poor lighting. You get what you pay for - if you’re lucky. We were very happy with the value.

Room in a large traditional courtyard building. Location was excellent in the middle of Arcos.

It was a bit spooky - the hotel was virtually closed and there were very few guests. All communication with the owners was via whatsapp and we didn't see anyone. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it.

Very central locations and a historic building

Outdated and old. Parking is very hard and you will need to hike quite far to reach de hotel. (about 100m climb) There is a public parking plaza close but is under construction and to reach there you will definitely need good driving skills in VERY narrow streets (about 1.8 meters wide).

Location and price couldn't be beat. The room service was helpful. They always left the room clean. The beds were comfortable and linens new and clean.

The whole place is just a little tired. Some bulbs are burnt out. Some signs are handwritten on paper or cardboard. Just a few touches could make the experience more pleasant.

Very nice location and nice hotel

The mail with contact information directed us to call a phone number for access to the hotel. There we no reply to the phone.

Fantastic location. Friendly service. The beds were unusually comfortable (compared to other hotels at a similar price). Large bathroom. I really don't understand why this hotel is getting so many bad reviews. You cannot compare this hotel to a place that is way more expensive.

There was not much ventilation but the AC worked good. And there could have been more soap/shampoo, the tiny little bags did not work for us, so we had to buy more at a nearby shop.

A lovely old inn with a certain amount of rustic charm. Facilities were satisfactory. Food was basic but reasonable value.

I arrived on a Friday so the locals were in weekend mode and sang until late in the attached bar. If you are a light sleeper this might have been an issue. Alternatively, if you speak a little Spanish you could join in and have a great night!

The location of the hotel was excellent and easy to find. We have stayed in Arcos previously and knew the likely standard of fittings etc so whilst basic, were good. The friendly manager was there to greet us and showed us the room and explained really well (and slowly enough for me to understand) how to get in and out when the front door was closed

Its early in the season and I think as the town gets busier the hotel will pick up. It felt very quiet. A breakfast option would have been great (we knew there wasn't one when we booked) but we would have appreciated glasses for water in the room. There are plenty of cafe's in the area for food so the lack of breakfast is not a huge issue, just one to note. We left quite early each day as we were going to the MotoGP but it did feel a little like we were sneaking out with no lights on or people about.

The best owner so far in our travel in Spain , such a lovely and helpful guy that manages all the hotel and its responsibilities.
