woweeeee.....views galore when you eat breakfast here and from the entire upper part of the old town. Breakfast isnt included but you can have it there on the rooftop and that was worth it for sure. Really interesting room - ours had an ancient Roman cistern that you could see in the bathroom area. the Host was a really great guy and very helpful. parking was below the house on a different street which was fine...a few minutes of an uphill walk and you were there. The room was comfy and the bed was really great and I am fussy but it was super comfy. We walked all over the old town and the drop off views close by the house are amazing. I recommend booking.

Wow. The place exceeded our expectations. The entire place was amazing with all the attention to details. For example when you entire the place smelt amazing with the incents, the little candy at the front, the room was wonderful and they offered us a bottle of wine from the little wine frisge that was in out room. The patio was amazing and the views are to die for. We loved the bells ringing and to top it off the breakfast the next day on the top deck was amazing. The host were so kind and nice . thank you for a very memorable stay.

This is a paradise place. Isa and Jim are wonderful hosts, friendly and sincerely helpful. We parked with ease as Isa sent excellent directions. The Casa is a historical treasure and has been tastefully remodeled with every comfort. The terrace has breathtaking views and we sat at nightfall watching the birds with a glass of rosada. We were served a delicious breakfast there and loved everything. The bed was so comfortable, my best sleep in Spain! Excellent shower and soft bath sheets too. The little centro bus can take around town and we used Isa's walking guide to lovely sights in the neighborhood. Do try to go to the Convent for the nun's cookies! We will return, and highly recommend this wonderful home.

Jim and Isis are excellent hosts. They provided great communication in advance of my stay. The casa has lots of history and charm and is in an excellent location. I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace where my room was also located. I would recommend taking the breakfast option if it is not included in the rate. Eating breakfast with the amazing views of the town and countryside below was a highlight of my stay at Casa Campana. You will need to order breakfast the day before along with providing a time for breakfast. Coffee is included in the room. I also enjoyed the self-guided walking tour that Jim put together for their guests. Please be advised that there is a city minibus that can take you up the hill if arriving by bus or are parking below. There may be a small cost for the bus but I was not charged for my ride despite my efforts to try to pay. Jim provided directions along with pictures of the bus stop in advance of my stay which was helpful. He also provided information on nearby places to eat for lunch and dinner.

My room was a little smaller than expected based on the photos but it met my needs as a solo traveler. I would stay in the same room again if returning. There was quite a bit of construction occurring in the town during my stay which meant some things were closed or non-operational. This included the minibus for my return journey to the bus station which Jim informed me about it in advance. This was not the fault of the property and thankfully it was an easy 15 minute walk downhill.

The appartment was fantastic. Very nice decorated. The ambiance, the area and location wonderfull. We didn't book the breakfast in advance but we could take it and they prepared a magnificiant breakfast for all of us. We enjoyed it a lot. It was all wonderfull and we ate at the terrace with the nice views. The hosts very friendly, they also inform us where to eat and what to do. Very nice people.

Nothing all was perfect. The only thing is that it is located in the old town and we had to walk a lot, but it was nice to visit the town.

This place is a jewel in a town that thankfully time has forgotten. To miss Arcos on a trip to Andalucia would be a tragedy. Away from the hourdes of tourists it really has all the local charm and feel of a small Spanish village. We visited many including Ronda and Nerja and this was by far my favorite. Jim and Isa at Casa Campana made us feel like family. Isa's breakfast was a wonderful combination of the known and local favorites. Everything farm fresh. Our cozy terrace casita was a dream with a view of the cathedral. I'm not one to gush but Casa Campana deserves it!

This was a lovely place with stunning rooftop views. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was not only one of the best breakfasts we’ve had on our travels, but one of the most interesting places to have breakfast. There were lots of little touches everywhere that we really appreciated during our stay, Jim and Issa were the best-so welcoming and helpful. Their suggestions on parking, restaurants and places to visit, just made our trip complete. We can’t wait to go back again!

This is such an interesting house with Roman and Arab features but modern and comfortable. The terrace is wonderful, as was our room. Breakfasts were excellent including typical Arcos pastries and delicious yogurt. Jim and Isa are very friendly and helpful. Lots of great information, including a walking tour pamphlet, restaurant recommendations, and info about the area. Very organized with parking info in advance. Perfect location; we completely enjoyed our stay.

The location was excellent, the house and the little appartement were só cosy. The breakfast on the terrace (waw, what a view!😍) was excellent. Jim and Isa were the perfect hosts, friendly and very warm! They made us feel totally at home, like we knew eachother for years! I was so sorry we had to leave. I don't know when (maybe within a few years), but we'll be back! 🎉

Nothing. Everthing was just perfect

Loved the terrace and all the decoration, very nicely done. Tasteful and cosy. Bed was very comfortable. Location right in the middle of the old town. Easy but steep Walk up from where we parked the car and we were given very good directions as to the best place to park the car.

I had some difficulties getting wifi, although my husband managed ok. It didn’t cause a problem because there was wifi in the reception area.
