The owner was very friendly and it is a very nice location we where able to travel to many beeches by bus the town is nice to explore.

A bit of confusion as the hotel offers Jazz bands we didn't realize paying guests at the hotel are meant to pay a surcharge if they sit and watch from the courtyard. This was not specified however this money was refunded thankfully. If you listen from your balcony that is allowed for free.

The location is central with an old-world charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean with an excellent and powerful shower. The convenience of all the local restaurants and shops made this a great place as a base to visit local attractions. The area always felt safe and secure which is a must for families. If you are expecting hotel-style accommodation this is not for you but if you want to experience the local culture in a safe, friendly and charming location, this is the right place for you.

The room was on the small side but had charm and as I was traveling alone, it was quiet and suited my needs. It was very clean with a lovely balcony. There is very little not to like about this place.

It's s bit run down but they make efforts to keep it clean. This building is a not so pretty but functional. Bad insulation and expect noise from neighbours and showers and toilets.

Carmen was incredible welcoming and friendly, and really made our stay comfortable. She offered suggestions of activities and we had some lovely days out based upon these. The building itself is very beautiful and we had everything we needed. It felt safe and quiet but also in the heart of the town centre.

Our only disappointment is that we didn’t stay during the days that there was live music in the courtyard. I’d recommend staying Thursday - Sunday to make the most of this as the courtyard was lovely, just a bit quiet during our stay.

The hostel is great value for money if you’re trying to visit costa brava on a budget. Special shout out to the hosts Carmen and Jordi! They are exceptional, will go out of their way to serve you

The staff / Host were exceptional entertainment was God like, food was supreme quality. My room however was tiny. But the stay was so beautiful. A memory never forgot .

One of the best experiences I had in a very long time with a hostal! the host was super nice very friendly and really took care of me very well. I had a very long trip was super tired and I didn’t have to worry about anything anymore. absolutely will come back here! then the hostal itself impressive entrance, historic and beautiful, the rooms itself were a bit historic as well but price wise it was great, with a balcony overlooking the terrace it just breathed comfort and cuteness. there was no airconditioning but the van did the works. also located in the center just around 10 minutes walk from the bus station was very convenient.

Lovely staff. Great location in Palafrugell. Very close to bus stops for Tamariu, Llafranc and Calella. Lots of food options around. Would definitely recommend!

Hostal Plaja is a great place to stay.We stayed 5 nights.Carme was incredible with her kindness and her service.The breakfast was excellent and so was everything.We hope to return.

Amazing place, perfect host Some tips about buses to the platja; Palafrugell is not well connected by bus, we reccomend scooter or car We did travel by bus but it was a hit and miss with a lots of walking and delays We will be back but with our own transport
