The accommodation was set at the back of the pub with patio doors, this was ideal for letting our dog out. There was even fresh milk in a small fridge in the corridor so we were able to store the dog food aswell. The staff made our stay very relaxing, Tina who served Breakfast was extremely helpful and kind as was the bar staff. Food at the pub was outstanding.

The only criticism was the bright green fire exit sign above the patio doors it kept me awake, I know it was there for safety reasons so I brought an eye mask to stop the glare.

Great location, about 10 mins drive outside of Padstow. We didnt use the restaurant for dinner just had a few drinks but food looked great and everyone was raving about it. The room was lovely great sized bed and lovely pillows! You even had your own door into the bar but off a corridor so you were not disturbed at all. No problem with parking at all just round the back outside the room

The bathroom was a little dated and could definitely use more hooks but the shower was powerful

This was an excellent choice for us with easy access to the Camel Trail. Staff were very friendly and informative and great fun. The two evening meals we had there were excellent, meats cooked to perfection, well presented and on very hot plates. Henk was a great host and advised on how we could make best use of future stays and cycle routes.

It would have been nice if the restaurant had been open on the Monday evening and perhaps this could be added to the listing. We had to travel to another pub for our evening meal, an expensive taxi ride. The only negative food wise were the breakfast, the cooked options were very good and varied but it would have been nice to have had cereal and fruit options.

Great & quiet location, room size was more than adequate for two people, the double bed was large, very comfortable & the room/bathroom well equipped. The staff were very helpful & friendly, breakfast was excellent & the evening menue/drink/food was outstanding. We most certainly will stay here on our next visit to Cornwall.

The breakfasts were very good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small, but had all that was needed. The meal in the restaurant was extremely good. Fresh milk, bottled water and clean towels were provided daily.

The room looked into the car park which was noisy early in the morning with deliveries.

What a lovely place to stay..a massive thanks to everyone at the Half Way House...The whole team was lovely and welcoming. The room was comfy and the food excellent. A good location for touring around beautiful Cornwall. Can't wait to come back 😎👍

The food was excellent, especially in the restaurant at dinner, including high quality vegetarian options. Room was comfortable facing away from the highway, cutting noise to nearly nothing. We loved walking down the road behind the property in the evening to watch the sunset. The EVSE gave us a good charge for our EV overnight.

If you're looking for a B&B in a great location (between Padstow & Newquay) which does a great breakfast and the option of a fantastic evening meal with a good choice of drinks ... then look no further. We stayed between Christmas and New Year and had a great time. Rooms are comfortable and all you need from a B&B. Staff are very friendly too, and it's also dog friendly.

The service was excellent and the staff could not so enough for you. There was some great touches like a bar of local chocolate in the room and good tea and coffee making faculties. Parking was good which is not always the case in Cornwall. The food in the pub was great and very good value we eat there for the 2 nights we stayed and was very pleased with the meals. The bar had a good range of beers ciders and larger.

The bathrooms were tired and need a face lift
