Breakfast was great. Plenty to eat. Rooms clean and facilities in the room just what you needed.

Reaching the hotel when you get close is a bit of a maze very devious routes. Not great in dark wintry weather to know where you are going. The price of meals is not cheap and it averted me from eating in the restaurant.

We chose the location to be near the road going to Wadebridge from the east. It was next to a big service centre with lots of dining and other options very well laid out. The building is modern with views over the countryside. There is a lift to the upper floors and a drop off bay right outside for unloading/loading luggage. The dining area offers a range of meals and is where you have breakfast. A special feature was a pancake machine which actually makes several with one press of the button. The breakfast also has the usual options all laid out buffet style with dishes regularly replenished. It was a relaxing informal spacious environment. The room itself was quite small but carefully thought out with an iron and board tucked away and decorative wall hooks as well as a small wardrobe area.

Not really an issue but you do have to pay for parking since they don't own the parking lot. It is mentioned in Booking.com info and is not expensive. We were able to park close to the hotel. The floor area of the room was a bit small to put our large open cases down.

The hotel is an oasis of calm even though just off a busy road & close to services. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, efficient & friendly staff. A small green area to sit at the back. Breakfast was a very pleasant experience, good quality food & lots of choice. Was impressed with the friendly way staff looked after a couple at breakfast who had mobility issues. They were so kind & helpful.

Not the fault of anyone at the hotel, but it’s another modern hotel with windows that don’t open. I much prefer some fresh air coming in to using the air con

The hotel was really dog friendly, the bed/bowl/treats and poo bags were great. The room was spacious with a big comfy bed so we got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was great, the choice was impressive and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Nothing really. It's on the side of a busy road, but it's at the services for convenience. There are a few extra costs that I wasn't aware of until after I'd booked, so the charge for pets and the charge for parking should be made clear before booking, but the charges weren't a lot.

The staff at this hotel are so friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. Considering this is a hotel at a services it is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The services next door are useful for food and have a small co-op which was handy. It is very well positioned to go either further into Cornwall or back to Devon

My only negative is having to pay for parking which I would think could be given as part of the stay but parking being additional seems to be becoming a common extra of hotel stays in generally in my recent experience.

The staff was so lovely and if we needed something nothing was to much for them. It was are first time visitoring Cornwall the staff recommended places were we could visit. All the staff was very polite and well mannered we would definitely be visiting again we only had breakfast which was so lovely and loads to pick from. It was my boyfriends birthday and they said i could send down banners and they put balloons around the room which was so nice off them.

This was everything a hotel chain should be. Clean, comfortable, friendly service. It is very convenient to the motorway. There is a restaurant and a small shopping mall nextdoor offering fast food options. It was near some spectacular places to visit- Carnglaze Cavern, Galitha Falls and hiking the moor to see stone circles near the town of Minion.

I generally try to stay at independent run hotels when vacationing in Europe but this was convenient for this particular night. The breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about.

Great facilities, good nights sleep and very quiet, considering where we were. Breakfast was good and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Some parts of our room weren’t as clean as I would expect - glasses in bathroom were dusty - bits of tissue/toilet paper on floor in bathroom But this didn’t ruin our stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Excellent location, and we were checked in by incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The room had everything we needed, and we had a very comfortable night after a long journey to Cornwall. All staff we encountered were pleasant. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety on offer. We would definitely book this hotel when next travelling to Cornwall.
