From the outset everybody was very friendly and could'nt do enough for us. Our room was I reckon the biggest we've ever had, lovely and spacious with a rain shower in the bathroom which was beautifully tiled, there was also a nice view and there was a decent big tv at the bottom of the bed. There was no problems with regards to parking the car and I had been informed in plenty of time beforehand that it was out of season so the restaurant was closed on the Sunday that we had arrived - though open the rest of the week. so I had made prior arrangements with Parnell Taxis, (three other local taxi firms did'nt want to know) to take us there and back to the Borough Arms in Bodmin . This is apparently one of the best places to go for a Sunday Carvery in these parts - finishing at 8.30 pm, I can certainly vouch for that - they even had proper roast potatoes and lots of meat!! Its's also a lovely location to go away and explore in any direction, we went to the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum near St Austell - most of it is outside with lovely countryside and real friendly knowledgeable staff, then after having a very nice Cornish Pasty at Nile's Bakery on the outskirts of St Austell we drove to Polperro and had a look round there. Beautiful place, not so sure about the car parking - cheapest rate is £7 for 3 hours but there's nowhere else to park and you could only pay with change - not so bad if you've got that amount on you,I just managed to find £7 worth and had to put the last pound coin in three times before it stayed in, a bit worrying seeing there was nobody in the coin exchange booth - out of season I guess.

Can't fault it even the full cooked breakfast was just right and if we're in this area again sometime we'll certainly be hoping they have a room available for us.

The hotel was excellent and the staff very friendly. Having the Vietnamese Restaurant on site was excellent and saved us going out. The meal was beautiful. The room was spotless, the shower cubicle was clean and had a good power shower. The towels were spotless.

The bedding let the hotel down. The mattresses were so hard as were the pillows making it a very uncomfortable night’s sleep. Also the duvets weighed a ton and I kept getting recurring cramp. Breakfast was OK. I noticed I had a piece of black pudding cut in two (I only had a half of a slice!)

Our room and en suite was far more spacious than we had expected. We were particularly impressed with the very large bed and shower cubicle. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all the facilities we needed, i.e. tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and fan. The staff were very friendly and the cooked breakfast was very good and matched what we had ordered the night before. Know some people don't like having to chose their breakfast the night before but we didn't mind that. The location was also perfect for our visit to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway.

It took a while for someone to see us to check in but in hindsight that could have been a confusion which arose to us arriving shortly after another family who were looking to eat in the restaurant.

From the moment we arrived to the day we left the staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we asked them regarding the local attractions and things to do was answered perfectly. Our room was very spacious and had a lovely view over the village and was very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable, The meal we had on the first night was very good and the staffs recommendations were spot on and therefore we had a very enjoyable meal at a reasonable price. We made our options for breakfast and handed them in to the staff and when we went down for breakfast everything we ordered was delivered on time and was very enjoyable.

We could not fault the hotel at all and will definitely stay there again when we visit the West Country again and have recommended both the hotel and restaurant to everyone we met in Cornwall and Somerset and will also recommend them to our family and friends as well.

I was really well received (arrived early) and shown to the room by a friendly manager. Parking had to be registered and all was done.The restaurant was very popular and fully booked - so if you want to eat quality Vietnamese food, you might want to book. I slept well and the environs were quiet. I took a walk in the area and felt very comfortable. Lots of pubs local to the place and the Hole in the Wall opposite was recommended.

Clean comfortable and warm - my only minor gripe is the bathroom was inlet into the room and though it was sparkling cleaned and functioned perfectly, it was narrow and a bit snug for a big person - I managed!

Situated in a good spot in Bodmin really easy to find. Good parking in their private parking. On arrival we were greeted by the proprietor unfortunately I didn’t ask his name. Such a lovely young man was so attentive. Explained all we needed to know about our stay. Our room was cosy clean very comfortable bed and very clean en-suite. We had our evening meal in the restaurant which was amazing. Breakfast was also excellent. We were looked after so well by all the staff. I couldn’t prize Westberry Hotel enough.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was exceptional with several vegan options. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Bonus tip: ask for the Vietnamese Iced Coffee

The room faced a residential area, which meant there were several screaming kids.

The location of the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed eating it in the pleasant light breakfast room. We appreciated the kettle in the room. Our room was a good size and looked fresh and clean: in fact, it looked recently renovated.

Nothing really: we were disappointed that the lovely Hoi An Restaurant affiliated to the hotel was closed on the Sunday that we arrived. We had specifically returned to the hotel from last year for the food! The Owners did advise us by e mail that the restaurant would be closed.

The food was well preparded and presented in a prompt and pleasent manner by a cheerful staff, the room had a desk and 2 chairs as well as a bed all were very comfortable, the evening meal was very hot and promptley served, just a little too much for me (but that is just me)

The hotel is in a great location and the rooms were very clean.. The front of house was very friendly. Breakfast was excellent too.

There is no sound proofing at all in the hotel bedrooms. We could hear our neighbours coughing and turning on/off the lights. Pillows were a bit hard. No curtains on the window, only vertical blinds which didn't block out the sunrise at 5.30
