We were a family of four and stayed in the "loft" which was a very pleasant experience. The room was super clean and very quiet. Beds comfortable. Li was a very welcoming host. Close to town. Half an hour drive to Newquay and around an hour drive to St. Ives. Breakfast delicious. We enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend this B&B to any family looking for a short break in Cornwall at an affordable cost. Thank you Li 😀

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Lee was wonderful. We came with a 2 year old, a 4 year old, twin 8 months olds, and three adults and Lee couldn't be more accommodating. She was very happy for the kids to run around her home while I finished my breakfast and was always at hand to help with anything at all The rooms were really lovely and clean Really close to the town too Would highly recommend if you have kids and want a home environment to stay at

One thing I will note is the stairs are quite steep when coming in from the car park. However Lee was always asking if she could help with bags etc and she even carried my daughter! I certainly wouldn't let that put you off though

I was given a warm and friendly welcome by Lee. Lee helped me with my luggage and showed me to my room - Daffodil room - she explained how things worked. Lee also noticed that I was travelling alone, yet my booking was for two people. I explained that I couldn't work out how to change my booking for one. She explained that she would sort it out - and sure enough, she did, so my final bill was less than I'd expected. The house is Victorian with large rooms - the staircase is wide, so it makes it easy when carrying luggage. My room was very comfortable. The bed was a super king, and the bedding was soft and snuggly, so I nestled down with ease. Full-length mirror was another bonus - so often these days these aren't available in B&Bs. Also, free wi-fi. The whole house was clean and tidy - a nice homely feel. Very good value for money. Good breakfast. Great location - the house is set in what seems like the countryside, so it's very peaceful. I could park my car (free parking on site) and the town centre is just a five minute walk. Li was marvellous because we had the Loft which had a lot of wooden stairs up the side of the Property and as I have to use a crutch, this wonderful host brought our breakfast up to us making 3 journeys each time. It was pouring with rain for the 2 days we stayed and she was so concerned that I may slip she looked after us magnificently. We have never had such wonderful looking after and she went out of her way to make sure nothing was too much trouble.

The Loft was a large room with a single bed, double king size bed and a Futon type put you up. The bathroom was of a good size with extremely hot water whatever time it was needed

I stayed for three nights instead of two and this B&B is exceptional the breakfast is good and the hostess Lee is exceptional my room faced West so I got the afternoon and evening sun it was very large and the shower was brilliant nothing seemed to be too much for lee to help out. You've got to see this place to appreciate it

The cost of my stay was a little more than I usually pay but Lee did give me discount on the third night. I have stayed in many establishments across Europe and found this one very very good the location it was ideal for the purpose of my journey and I would not hesitate to recommend it well done

We stayed in The Loft, which is separate from the main house, for a couple of nights. Li, the owner, made us feel very welcome from the moment of arrival until we left. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was lovely. There is plenty to see and do in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nothing.

Li was very attentive and very kind. She works very hard, the room and en suite was very clean, tea, coffee and a jug of water in the room, replaced each day, and a television. Big wardrobe..... Everything you need. John, Li's husband, was really easy to talk to, a very interesting man. The location was central, which was great, wish our stay could have been longer... Breakfast was great by the way.

Accommodation was great, but little choice in St Austell itself for eating out in the evening. We had excellent value meals in the local Wetherspoons, but all the decent restaurants seem to be a short drive away in Charlestown.

Excellent host. The house was very clean and comfortable. A big, super king-size, very comfortable bed. It was literally a two minute walk into the town. Good bus service to local towns. Would highly recommend it. Would definitely stay again.

Li was the perfect hostess. The breakfast was excellent. The room was large, light and airy, with a fridge and big TV. The location was very central with the main shopping area within a couple of minutes walk and a good selection of shops and places to eat. Charlestown and Mevagissey were just a few minutes away with some good clothes shops, pubs and eateries. It is also very handy for The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and coastal path walks.

A nice comfy bed, but very low to the floor.
