The hotel rooms were modern , very clean & well maintained. Loved the fresh flowers in the bar , restaurants & spa area. It was a nice touch having a pianist in the evenings in the bar area. The use of the towelling robes were really useful during our stay for the pool & spa. Staff couldn’t be more friendly , attentive & helpful. We were really impressed with them all. The outside pool is lovely with a nice warm temperature & the spa is very pleasant. We ate in the restaurant one night for dinner & the set menu choices were varied - the food was really good. The waiters were attentive & friendly.

This is one of the best hotel I have saty in the UK so far, the location it's great with a lot of things to do around and visit, with a beautiful vew from some of the rooms, in my own experience the room I stayed had a balcony where I enjoyed evey morning watching the sea and garden it was fabulous and relaxing. The staff were really friendly and helpful really kind and always asking if I needed anythings eals (they were 10 out of 10!) I can't remember the name of the guy and girl who attended me but they were excellent! wich make me go back and stay there again. great choices of food in they menus I really enjoyed my English breakfast evey morning haha. Facilities spa was great, I could still enjoy the sound of the piano in the evening from my room which I think I stay above really enjoyed it (for some people might be louder but not for me). I 100% recommend this hotel. No complain.

Great location. Short walk to beach, down from the cliff top. Longer but pleasant walk (30 mins) to the harbour village of Charlestown. Good mixture of activities. Nice outside pool with warm water, perfect for a sunny day. Inside pool and jacuzzi for colder days. Sauna and steam room. Quiet, clean, upmarket hotel with lots of older couples here for the golf course. Lovely views from the bedroom window. I didn't have a car but used the same taxi firm to take me to the impressive Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project.

I changed rooms after the first night. I'm a light sleeper and was initially above kitchen and extractor fan. Both rooms had great views.

Excellent hotel in an enviable location next to the coastal paths. The dining room has Seaview and it was lovely having breakfast here. Breakfast was an excellent buffet style. Staff were pleasant and well trained. Rooms and whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We had a small double which was actually bigger than expected, although the bathroom was a little tight. Did have a bath however which was good. The spa was excellent and parking easy and both included in the price which was a bonus.

For such a high price hotel we did not sleep as well as we should. This was due to the noise from the outside vents going late at night and starting at 5 in the morning and also lack of ventilation in the room ie. No air con and small gap in windows. A fan was provided but again it was noisy. A real shame as this is a good hotel.

Stunning views, incredible well-heated outdoor pool and lovely spa facilities. Bed was gloriously comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom were well decorated and comfortable. The staff were fabulous across the hotel, and the food in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast was great. The wine list is good, especially enjoyed the Muscat d'Asti pudding wine (check the full wine list as it's not on the "by the glass" list but they do it and it's very good value. I would highly recommend a massage. One of the best I've had, and I've had them all over the world in top hotels.

Breakfast was very nice. staff was exceptionally friendly especially staff in the bar area especially Tinesha. Everyone was so friendly from cleaners to reception to spa staff .

Found food and drinks to be quite pricey.

The hotel offered fantastic views that were truly breathtaking. Whether it was the city skyline or natural landscapes, the vistas from the property were mesmerizing and added a special touch to my stay. The staff at the hotel were lovely and highly professional. They were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that guests felt well taken care of. Their warm hospitality and professionalism enhanced my overall experience. The bed in my room was soft and incredibly comfortable. It provided a cozy and restful sleeping environment, allowing me to wake up refreshed and rejuvenated each morning. The breakfast served at the hotel was excellent. The quality and variety of the offerings exceeded my expectations. It was a pleasure to start the day with a delicious and satisfying meal.

However, there were a couple of aspects that could be improved. Firstly, the bathrooms in some of the rooms were not as new or modern as depicted in the images. This discrepancy was a bit disappointing, as I had expected more updated facilities based on the promotional material. Furthermore, the room I stayed in tended to be fairly warm, even with all the windows open. It was quite challenging to cool down the space to a comfortable temperature, which made the room less enjoyable during hotter periods. Despite these drawbacks, the fantastic views, friendly staff, comfortable bed, and excellent breakfast made my overall experience positive. While there were a few areas for improvement, I still had a memorable stay at this property and would consider returning in the future.

Most of the staff were very kind and polite and helpful. Our first room had issues, but afer they changed our room, we had a great night sleep.

The food was very delicious but for unknown reason, I was very sick around four am, my daughter called the receptionist, he said call the ambulance yourself. No one attended to our room to check on us, for a hotel of this state, this was not acceptable. The shower in both rooms was not very good. I also saw, how the cleaners washed the glasses and mugs in a small room, next to the lifts. Very disgusting. I had to wash all the mugs in our room, before use.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Short walk via some steps to Carlyon Bay Beach, and heading the other way on the S.W Coast Path, nice walk to Charlestown and onwards. Staff were great, lovely breakfast, and food in the restaurants and Spa Bar all very good.

On the Saturday the Spa was more like a holiday camp/Local leisure centre, very busy and extremely noisy, so if you want a quiet break head for weekdays. Also, the gym and part of the spa area was shut while we were not told until the day before travelling even though it was a planned closure and closed days before we went, so that was a little frustrating.

Good sized room despite the description saying it was a small double. Communal balcony and sea view was nice surprise. Set on cliff top, so need to walk down the coast path and steps to beach, but nice sandy beach with food and drink facilities . Good breakfast and sea view dining room. Very friendly and helpful staff Didn't use the pool or spa as very last minute booking. Would definitely stay there again, Only 8mins drive to Eden project.

Was rather hot, but OK if left the door onto balcony open overnight.
