Kerryanna is a superior B&B.. every aspect is over and above the general standards of a b&b. It has the feel of a quality small hotel. The breakfast menu is excellent covering something for every taste and if it’s on the menu you can chose any combination you wish. The outlook from the dining room is beautiful..tropical feel looking up to the hillside properties of Mevagissey. The location is a quiet country spot ..with llamas and horses close by..yet only a short walk into Mavagissey. I have stayed in two different bedrooms and both are of a high standard with top quality beds..bed linen and towels. You will not be disappointed with Kerryanna for all aspects including very good value for money.

There was obviously nothing I didn’t like I have no constructive criticism.

We were looking for a nice place close to the sea to stay 3 nights for exploring the southern peninsula of Cornwall, so we booked Caroline's and Michael's wonderful Country House months in advance. We were so overwhelmed by the hospitality we were granted, by the cleanliness of the place, by the view to the sea from our window, by the luxurious equipment of our room, by the meadows and the trees surrounding the house with so many birds singing - in brief we found a true little isle of tranquility. We had a phantastic selection of breakfast, various styles of eggs prepared to order, much better than what you would get even in a good hotel. Michael and Caroline also gave us some really helpful hints how to best plan our days, what is truly worth seeing and what might not be, some helpful driving recommendations etc. Many thanks to you both to have made our stay such memorable, we greatly enjoyed our time with you and certainy regret to not have planned to stay for even longer. We strongly recommend to anyone to stay a couple of days at Kerryanna Country House Bed and Breakfast.

There is nothing that we could think of, that we did not enjoy 100%.

If we Germans are said to have a love of high quality standards, attention to detail but also a penchant for nitpicking, this review has to be very short - because Caroline and Mark demand everything from even a German with their exceptional quality for a b&b to live this peculiarity 😊In a nutshell: Caroline and Mark offer a (new) b&b standard “at its best” - that's 5 stars across the board - plus an additional German star! Thank you very much, Caroline and Mark for the extraordinary experience and the beautiful days!!! You, Cornwall and Mevagissey will remain unforgettable!

But :-) that Caroline and Mark don't completely shake the world of German standards: The internet with the existing but weak 38 MB should be strengthened to 59.89 MB 😊 😊 and the color of the morning toasts, which is not always golden brown due to Mark's new high-tech toaster, should be optimized by 0.89 levels 😊 😊😊

The location is amazing with beautiful views from the house. The room was spotless and we had plenty of tea, coffee, milk, fresh water and lovely shortbread biscuits. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of choices and cooked to order. The owners are so friendly and helpful and recommended a fantastic restaurant to us two years ago when we stayed. The restaurant was so good, as was Kerryanna that we returned again this year. We also loved the mattress topper so much on our first stay we bought one for ourselves. We 100% recommend Kerryanna and will definitely be booking another stay.

Absolutely nothing to dislike

A really great place to stay - unfortunately at the end of our Cornwall trip. So we could only stay two nights... We were able to arrive much earlier, were warmly welcomed by Caroline and were able to leave our luggage and park the car there. The location of the property is very quiet and beautiful, but still only a 10-minute walk to Mevagissey harbor. The room was comfortable and spacious with a very comfortable bed and a nice, clean shower. Every now and then two pheasants walked past the window 😄 Mike was waiting for us for breakfast in the bright and spacious breakfast room/lounge with a view of the well-kept outdoor area. In addition to the buffet breakfast (cereal, toast and spreads/jam), there is also a menu with a large selection of warm egg dishes (scrambled eggs in many variations / bacon / avocado / ...), which are then freshly prepared. Mike and Caroline are extremely friendly and helpful and gave us lots of good tips for the evening (pubs/restaurants), the next (rainy) day (Lost Gardens - 5 minutes away by car) and the morning of our departure (short hike along the coast). We felt very comfortable! It's a shame that we had booked our ferry in advance...

The King suite with sea view was immaculate, very spacious and really has the wow factor when you walk in and see the views through the windows! The hosts are lovely and make you feel very welcome and at home. The location was great and not far from the harbour, also had great views of the fireworks for Feast week. We enjoyed the breakfast which set us up perfectly for the day. This is a great place for couples to stay and Mevagissey was an ideal base, plenty to see in the town and places to eat, but also not too busy. There are plenty of beaches and coastal walks nearby as well as being a short drive from popular attractions such as Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan. Thank you Mike and Caroline we really enjoyed our stay!

There is not much that can be improved. If I was being really picky I would say the bed is too soft but this is completely a personal preference and I can't really say that it affected my sleep during our stay.

This beautiful house with its lush gardens and fabulous view was a wonderful place for our overnight stay in Mevagissey. It's only a 5 minute walk to the harbour and its shops and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with so many choices even for those of us eating plant-based. Importantly for us they had a secure place to store our bikes overnight . We had a fantastic stay

We liked everything.

Mike & Caroline are such a nice couple, being friendly, welcoming and warm as though you knew them for years. The property is also lovely and spacious, with a vista from the lounge with a view looking out over Mevagissey. The room size was large with a large comfy bed. My wife actually said "that's the best night sleep I have had for ages", the breakfast and service was top notch. We really enjoyed our stay and will be looking forward to going again.

The only criticism we had, is the steep incline up to the property. If you walk into Mevagissey for a meal and a couple of drinks for example and then have to climb the steep hill, it can be a bit of a work out. You can park your car it the bottom of the hill, as it is a private road, and then drive it to the top on your return (depending you don't have too many) This is at no fault of the owners, and just the situation where the property is situated, although you do get good views from the house,

The property was clean and comfortable with a great view. The owners (and guests) were very friendly. The breakfasts were great, great quality and choice. One of the main reasons for choosing Kerryanna was its proximity to Mevagissey, it is only a 15 minute walk to the harbour, yet being out of the centre of the town you can park your car.

The only downside of the property is the steep hill on the way back from town, but without the hill you wouldn’t have the great view. There are a couple of parking spaces at the bottom of the hill which can be used if you don’t fancy the walk up.

Exceptional facilities - lovely, large room; very comfy bed and pillows - hard to find usually; very friendly hosts; very good breakfast. In particular, on the day I arrived, I needed a lengthy taxi transfer from a beach along the coast, and the taxi companies were not at all helpful, and I was losing phone signal and low battery. I phoned Caroline at the Kerryanna to ask if she would make calls to taxi companies on my behalf. I understand that she had to make several calls, but she managed to get a taxi out to me, and that saved the day.

The only reason that the location category did not have a full smiley face is that the property is at the top of a hill - and I was walking. If they can change the laws of geography/physics to make it easy to walk up hills that would be perfect. Otherwise, the location was very good - I did not mind the short walk into Mevagissey at all.
