That our room was adjacent to the car park of the Inn, but because it was sound proofed didn't hear a thing. The food in the Inn was beautiful especially the Sunday Lunch . Lilly and her team were amazing even under pressure when a chef had to leave early one evening. We were visiting friends in Wade bridge so we were close, the ferry from Rock to Padstow was just down the road too. Will definitely stop again if in that area.
Nothing really it was really good, wish we could have stopped longer.

The room was separate to the Inn, and situated in the car park. It was clean and tidy and modern. The bed was comfortable and the shower room was a decent size. The air conditioning was a bonus as the room did get warm. Free parking is good. Breakfast was not included, but having the option to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the Inn should you wish to is convenient. We enjoyed breakfast and the staff were very helpful and attentive. This was great value for money
The room is small and could do with some hooks to hang coats in the small area behind the main door. Whilst parking is free, it is first come first served with other users of the Inn. It would be better if two spaces were allocated solely for the use of the overnight guests.

Very friendly staff and we happen to stay on a night when there was a quiz. We were on our own so joined three locals who made us feel very welcome. I had a pizza that was a little overcooked and without question it was replaced and an apology given.
We had Room 2 which was in the car park and the lights outside tended to frame the window when it was dark outside and the roller blind was down. It didn't detract from us sleeping but it might bother some people. We felt breakfast was a little on the expensive side. We had one breakfast which was very nice but left before breakfast on the second morning as we were meeting our daughter to have brunch with her and her friend.

I had 5 breakfasts and 5 dinners. All were enjoyable. The meals were obviously prepared when ordered, and were sometimes a little slow to appear. However, I was not concerned, as the quality was excellent. I shoul mention that as a single guest, Lillie was particularly helpful and professional at all times|! Full marks for her!!

The Pityme is in a great location to start walks on the south west coast paths. The pub was handy to have meals in as well. The rooms were well equipped with everything including fresh milk given to us on arrival, with a small fridge to keep it in. There's also an iron and a hairdryer in the spacious wardrobe. Hosts were very welcoming and knew that we'd stayed there before.
Nothing.

Loved the shower and the big fluffy towels, liked the fact we could watch bbc I player and Netflix, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, plus tea and coffee facilities
The fridge, when we stayed last time in room 4, the fridge was considerably larger, although lovely to have a fridge in the first place to have the facility to store colder items would’ve been great, there was also two bottles of milk which was great and a lovely touch, however we didn’t use it so it seems a waste of money.

Cool pub in general to have a drink or dinner. Dinner was excellent! Outstanding was the very friendly and extremly helpful staff - one guy did his best to find out our onward connection by public transport and organised us a taxi - many thanks to him and the other friendly members of the staff:) the room was comfortable and had everything we needed!

The room was excellent and the air conditioning was such a plus. Tea and coffee in the room were great, evening meal was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Easy parking onsite and the mini-fridge for fresh milk was a lovely touch
Our mistake when booking but for the price, at the end of the season, thought breakfast was included. They do serve breakfast but it is from 9am and we needed to leave before then

The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to give excellent service. Our evening meal at the pub was very good. There is a very smart shop attached to the pub that sells local produce.
In advertising photographs, the pub looks cosily traditional and it’s not obvious that it has been vastly expanded into a pub-restaurant complex. Our accommodation was in an annexe in the carpark and there was quite a lot of traffic noise in the morning from nearby road. It didn’t bother us too much but be aware that you won’t be getting a remote, traditional pub experience when you book this place.

Nice comfortable room, which was spotless clean, and in a great location, quiet and perfect for exploring the area. We really appreciated the great coffee/tea making facilities and the smart TV. It was also great having the pub so close, to have a drink at night and breakfast in the morning.
The pub opening hours were a bit limiting, with both breakfast and check out starting at around 9am, so it was not possible to leave earlier. Also, the shower gel was not enough for a two-night stay, and we had to repeatedly ask for a refill, which is not great customer service and slightly spoiled our experience in an otherwise perfect stay.
