A continental breakfast was provided,we could have had a cooked breakfast at an additional cost but we were planning on having cooked meals out so didn’t require it. The room we were allocated was clean,fresh and had everything we needed.Comfortable beds and pillows,and the bathroom was spotless.The owners were friendly and we had a tour of the beautiful garden and fish pond.Location was fab,short walk into town and beaches.I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

The most lovely, comforting and heart warming guest house to stay at! Me and my partner booked a weekend away to Cornwall and picked this guest house as it was the only one available. I am so happy that we had the oppurtunity to stay because it was quiet, close to town (20 min walk or 5 min bus, the bus stop was outside of the guest house). The lady served a lovely english breakfast for £8 but even if I didn't pick this, I would have been happy with the continental breakfast as there was so many options and a lovely expensive coffee machine for my morning brew. The guesthouse was clean and smelled great too. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was so comfortable! Highly reccommend and will definetly be staying here again when we visit Cornwall soon.

The host was exceptionally friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Although the room was on the smaller side, it was incredibly cosy and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom appeared to be recently renovated, adding a modern touch to our experience. Notably, everything was impeccably tidy and clean, which contributed to our overall satisfaction during our two-night stay. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, ensuring that we started our days with a hearty meal. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have access to a car. Alternatively, there is a convenient bus stop located right in front of the house, or you can opt for a pleasant 30-minute walk to reach the city centre.

Lovely guest house. Karen and family were very friendly and attentive. The garden room we stayed in was extremely clean and well suited to me and my baby's needs. Comfortable bed, strong hot shower, in-room tea& coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet is substantial and a cooked breakfast is also available. Good location, about 15min walk into the town centre.

Our host was Karen, who was very friendly and accommodating. She welcomed us when we arrived and took us to one of their beautifully constructed chalets at the rear of the property. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean; it had a nice, powerful shower and a wonderfully soft bed; one could not ask for any more. In the mornings, we had the option of a continental or full English breakfast, which was very tasty. Her son James also has fabulous local knowledge and suggested that we take a mini trip to Charlestown Harbour in St. Austell, where the Poldark series was filmed. This was fabulous with the long boats in the harbour and the movie prop set. Not to mention the hotel is only a stone’s throw from Port Beach, which is great for its views, especially the Mermaid Pools. I look forward to another visit next summer. David & Lorraine

Lovely property, very clean. Spacious and attractive room and very comfortable bed. Buffett breakfast had everything we needed, and offered cooked breakfast for extra charge. Only 15 minute walk into town. Our hosts Karen and her son Andy were very welcoming and friendly 😊

Breakfast advert not clear ( English breakfast which you expect to be included was not, you had to pay for but you get free cereals,milk, coffee,tea,fresh juice) but it was spot on. Again was not included in the advert that the owners will visit your room to remove rubbish when you are not in, don't agree with, I was expecting at least to be informed about.

Karen was very welcoming and friendly on arrival and during our stay, such a lovely lady. The accomodation is very clean, modern and has everything you need in your room. There is also use of a beautiful guest garden. The breakfast is excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

The room was spotlessly clean. Decorated lovely and had everything you needed. We didn't order cooked breakfast as continental was enough for what we needed. Host Karen and her family were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely clean, cosy room with nice view of garden. Very comfy bed. Karen was very welcoming and friendly, appreciated she let us in room early. Nice selection at breakfast.

The sensor in bathroom, light stayed on too long, which was a little annoying especially at night.
