This hotel is one of the best around . It has a relaxed atmosphere and the welcome we had was lovely . The room was cosy and very clean as the whole of the hotel was the same from what we could see. We asked for towels and got clean ones straight away i The breakfast was lovely and kept us going until lunch. The room we had was in the front and the view was amazing. The staff was lovely and nothing to much for them . There is a swimming pool that was nice especially to unwind after walking all day . The bar and games room was also ideal as we spend our evenings in the hotel . As everything was under one roof there was no need to go out looking for anything . The car park was also handy and safe at the back . Its a shame they think of closing this hotel . As I would differently visit more and I would highly recommend to anyone ,!!!

It was close to shops, beach walking distance, great for our dogs they provided blankets, towels, bowls, clean and tidy room, grass outfront to walk our dogs over looking the sea.

We had to sit in a separate room with our dogs away from the dinning area, which is to be expected but we felt out the way with no staff assistance, I booked for two nights thinking breakfast included both days but apparently on one day so had to pay extra., parking is available located at the rear, but cost extra each night.

I enjoyed the location, it is near to town so no driving and just on the edge so peaceful too. Friendly staff and great facilities.

Paying for parking in their private car park . £5 a day but you only have to pay this if you booked through booking.com. if you book directly with the hotel you don't have to pay.

Room very nice, large, comfortable and lovely bay view. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very nice when we ate in good choice availble at the bar.

Unfortunayely hotel design means stairs on each floor. The hotel is going to be shut and redeveloped into apartments before another visit possiblr.

We loved the Best Western Bristol Hotel. The staff were amazing and very helpful & the location was great. Really good value for money for our hotel by the sea. Our room was a lovely family room over looking the sea & had great views. Great size for us. Would definitely go back again and shall suggest it to friends.

The location was great. Just outside was the bus stop. The room had a beautiful view and the breakfast and dinner were beautiful. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful.

The room faced onto a busy pedestrian crossing which constantly beeped and the pool was down lots of stairs so not very accessible. There could be more done to sell the services - we weren't told about the pool or the many stairs until we asked about it.

Everything was wonderful, the staff where exceptional. The porters where amazing, they work so hard and always greet you with a smile. Nothing was too much for them. Chris helped with my dog alot, always giving her dog biscuits and playing with her. And Mark walked me to the train station with my luggage. Who does that in this day and age. Plus they are a dog friendly hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Really tasty and for £12.00 you got alot and eat as much as you wanted. The room was nice, I had a Seaview room. It's enough for one person, I think it would be too crowded for 2 people. But the bed was nice and comfy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

But not enough sockets, that was a real problem. But it is a very old hotel. The only other thing was that only clean your room every three days. It's not really convenient to the guest as you would have to ask for fresh towels, ask for more tea and coffee, etc. They do bring it straight away when asked. I think that they should clean your room everyday.

Excellent food. Friendly efficient staff. The room was comfortable and very clean. Great walk in shower room. Location good for exploring the area.

The room was on the first floor with a lift. However from the lift there were still 3 flights of stairs to get to our room, with luggage. We were not offered porterage but asked for assistance on leaving. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom. At 1.46am a fire alarm was raused. All residents waited in the forecourt for 45 minutes in night clothes. One resident in a wheelchair was unable to use the lift. No fire brigade was called and when asked why, the manager told me it was OK as he had checked all the areas. I think this was unacceptable and could have placed lives in danger.
