Absolutely loved everything. For a guesthouse it was so snuggly for a good nights sleep and so so cosy and homely.. I loved how clean this guest house was and how hospitable the owners were. The breakfast was fantastic- a lovely cooked breakfast before you started a long day. They have a communal area if you want to chill out- we did not use it as we were busy but there is somewhere else for you to chill if you don’t want to stay in your room. This is one of the top guesthouses I’ve been to in the country not just Newquay.Hot water, great bed and spacious.

There is nothing to not like. Not one minus.

The host offered to pick me up when stranded at a station half an hour away. Travelling on my own and missing family made me feel at home, was warm, welcoming and funny. The place is a gem, clean, lovely laid out, revamped, homely and thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay. Home from home. Absolutely gutted my mate booked up let’s say.. another hotel for the rest of my stay, thank you so much again. Was lovely to meet you chat to you. Breakfast was top notch too. Absolutely nothing it was great!

I ordered omelette for breakfast which was cooked lovely. Friendly environment in the breakfast room, My room was cosy and very clean, for me its very important as i suffer OCD and was quiet actually its exactly what I needed after a tough year..

There wasnt anything really that I didn't like, the only thing was the WiFi code wouldn't connect to my phone, maybe it was my phone but its a brand new Samsung model from February 2025, but it wasnt an issue though as i have my own data..

Exceptionally friendly and helpful innkeepers. We have stayed at the St. Bernards B&B two years before and although the innkeepers changed we again were very happy to stay here. The whole property is well looked after, very clean and tidy. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and toilet/shower room and a sink. Bathroom amenities were provided. We liked the tea and coffee making facilities and thought the small fridge in the room was very convenient. Breakfast was delicious and something to look forward to every morning. From a list you could choose from several breakfast options, leaving your order the night before. There is a sitting lounge next to the breakfast room where you could buy several drinks and snacks by the means of a self service honesty bar at any time. In the afternoons you could help yourself to a piece of cake or yummy scones. We love the location since it is only a short walk to Newquay station, the town center and the sandy beaches and we can highly recommend the St. Bernards and look forward to coming back again. Perfect location for our trip just a short walk into centre of Newquay. The B&B had very modern decor which was outstanding, very clean and tidy. Breakfast was extremely good. Paul and Chantelle were the perfect hosts, very kind and helpful. Parking was a short distance from the B&B, we were given a parking permit for a small charge.

Bathroom a little small, not a big fan of the sink in the bedroom, it was ok for our 1 night stay though.

Paul is really a great host. he's super friendly and outgoing. the room was very clean, quiet and i slept very well. the breakfast was amazing - you can choose out of various options and everything is prepared freshly. plus there is a buffet where you can get fruits, cereals and stuff like that. really felt like home. the location is supernice, in the city center with various shops and restaurants arounds, but still quiet. would definitly go there again!

Central location, near railway station. Exceptionly lovely hosts, friendly and helpful. Good freshly cooked breakfast, plenty of cereal and toast. 1pm check in a real bonus when walking, enabled full enjoyment of beach on arrival.

Unfortunately, we had a room facing the road and the weather was hot. So it was noisy until past midnight as we had to have the window open. When returning, we will ask for a room at the back.

The property was exceptionally clean and tidy. It is well located for all amenities and the beaches. The owners, Paul and Chantelle, were very professional in their day to day running of the B&B. They were both super friendly and helpful. Their priority was to make guests feel as happy and as comfortable as possible. Chantelle cooked a super breakfast each morning and the choice from the buffet suited every dietary requirement. Facilities within the B&B were great - games and dvd’s were well stocked to use in your Troon or in the living room area. Use of a microwave, plates and cutlery was available and a mini bar with snacks was easily accessible, if required, with an honesty sheet provided. A wonderful week was spent in Cornwall with exceptional hosts in an extremely comfortable and clean setting - thank you!

The guest house was wonderful. Even better than I expected! I don’t think the photos do it justice. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and accommodating! They helped with parking and had a great lounge where we could get a coffee or alcoholic drink. Excellent value for money. When we visit Newquay again we’ll definitely be back!

The property is in town very close to all forms of travel and shops The room was spacious very clean and the owners could not do enough to make it a very comfortable stay and although I had to vacate the room for 10am I wasn’t leaving until late afternoon I could leave my luggage in the lounge and was given a door key so I could go out if I wanted to or just sit in the lounge until I was leaving Would highly recommend staying here when in Newquay
