It was beautiful and was great value for money with breakfast included. The staff were really nice and friendly. This was definitely better than all the other hotel and restaurants in the area. The feather’s restaurant and bar was spectacular and the food and drinks were nice too. My dinner was nice and my breakfast was lovely too. It’s a very instagramable hotel. My room was nice and had free Netflix, lots of nice toiletries and tea and coffee condiments to go with the tea and coffee faciities. I had a non balcony room, bit it was great value and my breakfast was included. The decor of the room was still quite fancy, in line with the rest of the hotel. Across the road from the hotel, to the right and down the coastal stairs, there is tolcarne beach. It’s definitely worth going down to the colonial bar and restaurant to have a drink and watch the sunset. This hotel is literally across the road from this beach. I went across the road to see the beach from the great western hotel and it wasn’t that nice.

I think they need to get a new carpet for the stair case that leads to the room, as it was quite old and looked very old bed and breakfast. It didn’t belong with the fancy decor of this beautiful hotel

The Staff. All of the staff are amazing, they could not do enough for us. The location is amazing, close to everything.

Our stay at OYO was great. The staff were welcoming. Decor and cleanliness of the hotel were superb. Very modern. Our room was spotless and came with a balcony and sea view, which brought in a lot of natural sunlight and brightened up the whole room. This really elevated our stay. Breakfast was outstanding. They offer a healthy and a variety of options. We opted for a vegan breakfast, and it did not disappoint. A great perk was having the convenience to park on site. The location was superb, too. Lots of nearby beaches. There are plenty of restaurants and takeaways on the doorstep. You will be spoilt with choice. I would give this stay an overall 10/10.

We were beyond happy with the staff day and night ! we arrived very late and the man was just a little dream to be greeted by. He was so kind and welcoming which was so lovely. The lady that took over was the cutest person ever ! she was just as lovely. We were more than taken care of which was just the best as we had, had a couple of drinks. The girls who waited on us and served us breakfast in the morning was so kind and so friendly !. The place was stunning ! well done on your business it was a pleasure to stay ! and thank you for having a later check out and breakfast closing time it was just the best timings ! We are frequent travellers and this will def be getting a video review ! thanks guys

EVERYTHING !

The beach hotel is located near the city center. From Newquai airport one can take a bus to Newquai and walk to the hotel located very near to Tolcarne beach. That lovely sandy beach can nearly be seen from the entrance of the hotel, three minutes walking distance. The beach has a nice café and swimming is possible. To go to the city center, one need only several minutes by foot. The staff at the reception of the hotel was extremely friendly and very helpful, even helping with the heavy suitcase to bring it into the room at the 2nd floor. There are different breakfast options possible. The full English one was very generous and freshly prepared and also the employees at the breakfast room were very friendly. A water boiler was in the room for preparing tea, chocolate or coffee.

Cosmetic products should be made in Europe, for example in England or France. No refrigerator in the room.

We loved the location and room, was right next to the sea and the room was really clean. However, after 5 hours of driving, when we arrived, the parking space we had booked was taken. This was resolved, and we were told to park in a certain spot, only to be yelled at by residents when we were going home because of parking where we were told. Also the waiters at breakfast got food orders wrong on both days. We also weren’t told when breakfast was or when checkout was so we rushed for a 10 am checkout when it was actually 11. Overall, nice place, but a few mishaps.

Excellent breakfast, the best we have experienced at all our previous hotels. Hotel very clean and modern and staff extremely helpful. Location was great and when the tide was out you could walk to the harbour along the beach.

I found the bed uncomfortable and too firm. The room was on the third floor and there wasn’t a lift and it was very small. We did know about the last two points before we booked so this is not a complaint but just to make anyone thinking of booking aware of this. There weren’t any chairs in the room only a small stool probably because of the room size but it wasn’t very comfortable to relax and watch tv.

I stayed at the property for several stays and it is consistently over delivering, they have a great team who will do pretty much anything for you and the rooms are tremendous value for money on all budgets. The rooms for business travellers are clean with great Wi-Fi and everything you would need on hand to work from the room or set up meetings in the bar area. Conversely for holiday makers you cannot get a better location over one of the best beaches in Newquay and all the bars and restaurants literally 10 seconds away.

Very few things to dislike, if you are been really really pedantic a bed side lamp would of been welcomed but in some rooms there light switches are next to the bed so definitely not a deal breaker.

Loved the location , the beaches were amazing , The hotel was beautiful decorated, stylish boutique style .. The room was relatively big with en suite bathroom / shower over the bath ... Staff were very friendly , especially the young lad on reception, he went out of his way to help us with checking in and parking etc .

The room was extremely hot , the window didn't open wide enough to let any air in . The room did have a fan but it didn't really help . Wasn't keen the the garden view , nethertheless a good stay
