Fasntastic location, just few feets away from beaches, central located ,all amenities,shops,beaches ,restaurants are just there.Very comfy ,large room, we stayed in room 303-its a family room, spacious bathroom,clean towels , great tea/cofee options in room.Staff on reception accomodate all our needs and was helpfull.Breakfast at the hotel was also great,most enyable and relaxing for long time , we were choose table with sea view, most wonderfull way how to enyoy cup of coffee and just look at the waves and surfers,breakfast service was attentive.Sauna ,swimmiming pool,spa treatments available in the hotel.Actual hotel has very grand building ,grand spacious staircaise and all areas are large ,spacious, noticably requires maintenance hands full on, presumely/understandingly difficult to maintain.

Some areas in the hotel needs to be updated and little bit more TLC

Really great location near beaches, pubs and restaurants! Nice comfy bed and tv.

The car park isn’t free. Jacuzzi doesn’t fully work and neither did the women’s pool shower.

Nice big room with a bath. Good shower pressure. Lovely hot tub and steam room.

Not to be picky but playing Michale Jackson every breakfast was a bit annoying. Play some relaxing music instead!

AMAZING PLACE TO STAY, ALL THE STAFF ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, could not have asked for a nicer place to spend my week's holiday. I will recommend this hotel for anyone who requires a friendly and relaxing holiday. The food was the best I have ever tasted in my many years of experiance of hotels. The views are second to none from the beach front rooms and the resteraunt its self. The Pool was fantastically clean and refreshingly warm. I look forward to many more visits to the Victoria Hotel.

Nothing exceptional service.

I love this property as it’s so Victorian looking with lots of history the tunnel that goes down to the sea the fact that it was built in 1897 for Queen Victoria but she never got to see it and definitely the staff I love the sea views. It’s so central to Newquay with good facilities at the swimming pool gym swim sauna steam room hot tub and breakfast is amazing so much food the staff are amazing too.

anything I don’t like is they don’t do evening meal think they could make more money out of the restaurant if they had food or maybe a buffet food selection

Location, hotel has loads of character. Staff very efficient and helpful, I do like this hotel.

Staff were lovely! Very accommodating and able to provide us with everything we asked for (extra towels, local directions, recommendations and other things for our room). The interior is dated and some things could do with refurbishing (mainly the bathroom and pool area but I feel this was reflected in the price) the room was otherwise good - very large, clean and cosy! Breakfast was great but the coffee wasn't the best.

Pool/Spa suite area was useable but definitely not luxurious. Showers were broken, the steam room was cold and it could do with a bit of a clean in general. The coffee.. there are some great cafes nearby though!

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff were all so helpful, friendly and welcoming, both with enquiries beforehand, and whilst we were there. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had. We were especially pleased for the price we paid.

The pool facilities were undergoing maintenance, but it was very out of tourist season for this area, so completely understandable and we were told in advance. But it's the only thing that would have made the stay better at all. Still absolutely delighted for the price.

Truly stunning hotel, very old and beautiful. Had a few reservations about the hotel, from other reviews, but I can honestly say it was a great stay. If you are looking for modern, stay at a modern hotel, this hotel is old, steeped in history and the old decor and period features is what makes it special. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, from cleaners to reception, breakfast was lovely, fresh and plentiful. Overlooking the sea at breakfast time was truly peaceful. Bar next door was accessible from inside the hotel, and very friendly and welcoming too. Parking is to the side, cost £7 a day. Idea base for traveling around Cornwall.
