Location right next to the High Street and beaches, Simple Check-in, comfortable bed with surprisingly spacious room which included Kettle, TV, towels and en suite toilet with shower. I had to work a couple of days from the lodge, and the Wi-fi was perfectly adequate for those needs. The place was kept clean and the owner was responsive and respected my privacy.

Difficult to find, and difficult to find nearby parking. It's an old house, and when there was someone booked in next door or above my room you could tell. Generally quite loud so have some decent headphones is my tip. Lack of surfboard storage was a pain, it was difficult to drag a long board up those stairs but it is possible, though you're going to have an easier time with a shortboard. There isn't a communal area or any cooking facilities to speak of, so expect to be picking up meals from some of the local places - The food in Newquay is hit & miss in my experience, have a good look on tripadvisor and such

The room is basic but that's all you need, its clean, tidy, toilet, shower, sink, bed, kettle, cups, chairs, bin, TV. It's got everything you need and the location is by far the best you can ask for. The views are of nothing but im not looking out the window. I'm out during the day and in bed when I return. Exceptional location.

The only slight issue which wasn't really an issue is the curtains don't fit the whole window so you've just got to be careful you're not flashing the people outside or accross the road in the next building. Only a very slight issue but not really an issue.

Perfect location for access to beach/promenade. Whilst parking outside is not possible there is a huge car park only 200 steps away. Easy access to local shops and bars. Quiet during the evening considering it’s so central. Whilst it is basic decor it’s very clean. Beds were very comfy and warm. Although no reception it was an effortless check in and felt extremely safe, Tom was on site and was on hand to accommodate any of our needs which as a group of female adventurers was great

The bed was comfy. We were very happy with the room, location was good, shower and toilet were good. Would reccomend for a couple travelling around Cornwall.

Parking is a pain, but thats more location than anything. If you book this place, don't expect to bring a car and park right next to it. We were on a motorcycle so we got away with it. Otherwise a great place to stay.

I was in Newquay working, unfortunately I didn't have much time to relax. However I was able to rest up in comfortable surroundings.

We loved staying here! The host was really friendly and made sure we always had what we needed. You couldn’t find a better location, it is right in the centre of Newquay. It was very good value for money and the room was clean and comfortable.

Room was spotless, the shower was nice and didn’t change pressure or temperature which was good!

The self check in was a bit of a pain as I had no 4G to read emails with the codes needed to gain access but once sorted all was good!

No interfere, Tom is very nice guys. He guarded me. Everything is nice. I like and I enjoy thanks.
