The staff at the breakfast and dinner. Fabricio (Fabio) made my stay without any worries what I can eat. Unfortunately, I have to follow a special diet due to my Celiac disease and Fabio acted to the best of his ability in this matter, he even replaced the sausage at breakfast with gluten-free for me. Thank you Fabio

The parking!!! We were looking for accommodation with parking. I never thought my worst dream I would have to pay extra for it. Upon our arrival, I expressed my displeasure to the receptionist because of this. Unfortunately, she didn't react well to it at the time, but later she was nice. It's not really good business policy to ask a guest for money to park their car where they're staying.

Great location slightly out of town on cliff road looking over sea. Easy access to coastpath and to Tolcarne and Lusty Glaze beaches via steps. Room was clean and bright, reasonable size and great sea view. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Parking available on site. Wakeup call from seagull! Great last minute find and would stay there again

Very warm in room and small windows with limited opening. Noise from the road and from passers by significant and still building work next door during the day. Radically reduced noise by shutting windows but then room gets very hot. Thin walls as could hear snoring and people stomping about until 1am!

The sea views are amazing .rooms very comfortable clean and staff were friendly and always ready to help.i didn't book breakfast but they was happy to add any extras athroughout my stay if I wished.i have to say the food from the restaurant always smelt amazing but I was only there 3 days so wanted to explore the area rather than think about meal times . This hotel was a very very good choice .Close enough to everything most amazing walks to town so many beaches but far enough not to be right in the chaos of it and that made it extra relaxing.

There was nothing I can complain about or disliked it was far better than expected for what I payed

The hotel was in a central location close to shops and public transport - it offered breakfast and dinner and gym and pool facilities especially the sauna and indoor pool

The room did not have a mini fridge so if you did not want to use their restaurant you could not buy food from a supermarket and eat it in the room. I also went in an unusual hot week and the lack of an air con was gravely felt (i had to make sure i left the room early in the morning and came back late in the evening to be able to rest otherwise the room was too hot) The outdoor pool was dirty and had stuff in it and the gym is a small room filled with one treadmill, one bike, one stepper and very few weights so only suitable for light weight users, cardio and bodyweight exercises

Nice clean and freshly renovated room, nothing was leaking or dropping, which is rare for the price. The staff were friendly and responsive, especially the evening staff at the restaurant during our visit. You can order dinner at the restaurant which was helpful.

A few things could be improved. The hotel has a swimming pool, but no separate towels are provided — each guest gets only one towel for the stay, which you’re expected to use both for showering and the pool. No slippers or other amenities are offered either. The pool itself (water) could be cleaner. Breakfast was generally fine (English breakfast and some cereals), but it may feel a bit repetitive for a longer stay, especially as there are no fruits or vegetables available. Staff were polite overall, but oddly strict in the restaurant — you’re not allowed to choose a table, even when the room is half-empty, which felt unnecessarily rigid. The location is convenient for a couple of beaches but a bit further from the town centre.

Room was clean and comfortable. Car booking s massive advantage. Plentiful breakfast with big choice. Lounge is a bonus, large, comfy place to just relax with a paper or drink in the evening, lovely cream tea (book in advance, it's worth it). The best though was the staff, all evened, Sue at breakfast (sorry for burning croissants in the toaster (don't do that)) and short haired blonde lady on reception this morning were fantastic and a credit to the hotel. Easy walk into town and to Tolcarne beach, but we like that it was a little bit up away from town.

Sound travels easily through the walls hence the 9 and the bedside tables could do with being cut in half as they stick out too much near the door. The view from the room isn't great but what can you do🤷‍♀️ That's it.

Good location and value for money. We booked this hotel as it had both an indoor and outdoor pool and these were great and well used. We didn’t try the breakfast at the hotel (£12pp) but lots of fabulous places to eat nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful Tesco express very close by open until 11pm.

The room was very hot even though it wasn’t particularly warm outside. The windows don’t open very wide either which didn’t help but at least there was a fan.

This hotel was exactly as described very near the beach and a bit further to the town which is totally walkable. Also walking distance to the railway station. Great as we came on the train. Sea views from the restaurant are lovely. We found it extremely clean. It's the cleanest hotel I've stayed in in many years. The family room was very roomy - great for a weeks stay for myself and my teenage son. There is plenty to eat at breakfast and is a buffet style breakfast. Evening meal delicious and meals are generous. The pool areas again clean and as described. Nothing not to like, really.

I really can't think of anything. Just to mention, though, there is a building site next door, another hotel ? We came in May half term 2024, BUT there was no noise or work being carried out on it when we visited. It did not impact on our stay.

The location close the town was fantastic and one of the many beaches was just across the road. Supermarket practically next door was helpful too in relation to snacks, drinks etc. Staff were helpful during the check in and out procedures.

We had a room at the back of the property which overlooked the car park, the rooms were quite warm and stuffy very little ventilation whereas there was a beautiful if not cool breeze at the front of the property which cooled that area of the hotel down. Very noisy early with the car park.

Great location. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Clean and bright and airy. The staff were very friendly and happily accommodated food for my young daughter who is gluten free. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of options. Cooked options were hot and not overly greasy like many other buffets. We would definitely stay again.

Indoor pool was slightly on tired side although it was clean and we still enjoyed plenty of use out of it in the mornings. It was lovely and warm and my girls had plenty of fun in there.
