Excellent hotel , we had the camilla suite which was a huge room for me and my family . Lots of facilities. Close to all the amusements of newquay. We didn't get to use the swimming pool but it looked clean tidy and very welcoming. Hotel and room was kept really clean and tidy .

Bar was closed throughout . Swimming pool closed at 5pm so we didn't get rhe chance to use it as we were out during the day x

Friendly staff, always greeting you when you enter the hotel. Great location, very affordable, free breakfast, beach right on your doorstep, tesco express opposite. Tv in the room, always freshly stocking the teas and coffees in the room. Housekeeping always available and happy to help and very friendly. There’s a pool (although we didn’t use it) restaurant staff also fantastic! Even made us some bacon baps and coffee as we missed breakfast once we checked out for our journey home which was very nice of them!

WiFi didn’t reach the bedrooms, the window didn’t shut properly. The car park was full and very small however, there is on road parking opposite

Very friendly and helpful staff, very good overall experience staying with my 3 children and small dog, very accommodating.

The mattresses could be more comfortable and noises could be heard from neighbouring rooms, so white noise could help with that since it’s an older property.

Loved the family room as the rooms were separate. My dad left his phone in the bedroom he was in and staff were very helpful in finding it and keeping it save till we went to pick it up. Thank you.

Only one person allowed in the lift at a time.

The barrowfield has a great location in Newquay the rooms a spacious and very clean the staff are amazing and helpful

The showers on the 3rd floor very very very bad not good needs addressing

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Always willing to help. Breakfast was great. The location was perfect.

Only one small window in the room and no fan. Extremely hot and uncomfortable during the night. There was an issue with the window sill, it was stuffed with tissue paper, see photo. Walls need a lick of paint. Room 215. The bar and evening meals were closed due to Boardmasters during our stay, we should have been informed of this prior to our stay.

We loved that the place still has the traditional hotel vibe, we liked the decor and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we were served by a lovely lady, the food came fast and was delicious. The room was beautiful and clean.

Staff was friendly and happy to help with any problems the room for the price was perfect and is exactly what we needed for just the night

Staff were lovely and friendly. Room was a good size. Great location very quiet. If you wanted to use the pool they would open it up for you nice little games room for the kids would definitely stay again.

Nothubg major The rooms were very hot and not enough fans. Also on the website it says about entertainment bingo etc but there was nothing on an evening. But a short walk in to Newquay where there are amusements etc.
